< 1 Corinthians 12 >

1 Now concerning spiritual things, brothers, I do not want you to be ignorant.
RI ai kan, i sota men, komail en sasa duen pwais ngenin akan.
2 You know that when you were unbelievers, you were led away to those mute idols, however you might be led.
Komail asaer, me komail tikidar men liki, ap kakalua ren dikedik en ani loteng akan, duen komail kakaluaer.
3 Therefore I make known to you that no one speaking by God's Spirit says, "Jesus is accursed." No one can say, "Jesus is Lord," but by the Holy Spirit.
I me i men kaasa kin komail, sota amen, me lokaiaki Ngen en Kot, kak kariala Iesus. O sota amen me pan kak inda: Maing Iesus, ma so ren a Ngen saraui.
4 Now there are various kinds of gifts, but the same Spirit.
A pai en mak akan me wuki pasang, a Ngen me ta men.
5 There are various kinds of service, and the same Lord.
O song en dodok me toto, a kaun me ta men.
6 There are various kinds of workings, but the same God, who works all things in all.
O akai song en manaman mia, a Kot me ta men, me kotin wiawia meakaros ren amen amen.
7 But to each one is given the manifestation of the Spirit for the profit of all.
A pwais en Ngen saraui me pang ong amen amen, pwen men kamauiada.
8 For to one is given through the Spirit the word of wisdom, and to another the word of knowledge, according to the same Spirit;
Pwe amen ereki masan en erpit ren Ngen, a amen masan en kaparok ren Ngen ota.
9 to another faith, by the same Spirit; and to another gifts of healings, by the one Spirit;
O ong amen, en poson, a ren Ngen ota, o ong amen pai kan, men kakelada me somau kan, a ren Ngen ota.
10 and to another workings of miracles; and to another prophecy; and to another discernings of spirits; to another different kinds of tongues; and to another the interpretation of tongues.
O ong amen, en wiada manaman, o ong amen, en deideikop, o ong amen, en kasaui ngen akan, o ong amen, en lokaia ngil wuki pasang, o ong amen, en kawukila ngil akan.
11 But the one and the same Spirit works all of these, distributing to each one separately as he desires.
A mepukat karos wiawian Ngen ota, nene ong amen amen duen kupur a.
12 For as the body is one, and has many members, and all the members of the body, being many, are one body; so also is Christ.
Pwe duen war eu ta ap kokon toto mia, a kokon en war karos wiala war ta ta ieu, iduen Kristus.
13 For in one Spirit we were all baptized into one body, whether Jews or Greeks, whether bond or free; and were all given to drink of one Spirit.
Pwe Ngen ta ieu, me kitail paptaiseki ong war ta ieu, ma kitail men Sus de men Krik, ma ladu de me maioda, kitail karos me paptaiseki Ngen ta ieu.
14 For the body is not one member, but many.
Pwe war kaidin kokon ta ieu, pwe kokon toto.
15 If the foot would say, "Because I'm not a hand, I'm not part of the body," that would not make it less a part of the body.
A ma pat en nä pan inda: Ngai kaidin kumut eu, o i me ngai sota kisan war; a iaduen, i me a sota pan kak kisan war o?
16 And if the ear would say, "Because I'm not the eye, I'm not part of the body," that would not make it less a part of the body.
A ma salong o pan inda: Kaidin ngai kisan war o, pwe kaidin por en mas eu ngai; a iaduen, i me a sota kisan war o?
17 If the whole body were an eye, where would the hearing be? If the whole were an ear, where would the sense of smell be?
Ma war pokon por en mas eu, da me pan salong o? A ma war pokon pan salong o, da me pan tuma?
18 But as a matter of fact, God has arranged the members of the body, each one of them, according to his design.
Ari, Kot me kotin kokon penang war ta ieu kasong akan, duen a kotin kupureda.
19 If they were all the same member, where would the body be?
A ma kokon karos wiala kokon ta ieu, ia pan war o?
20 So now there are many members, but one body.
Ari, kokon akan me toto, a war o me ta ieu.
21 The eye cannot say to the hand, "I have no need for you," or again the head to the feet, "I have no need for you."
Por en mas eu sota kak indang kumut: Kaidin meakot re i koe; de pil tapwi sota kak indai ong pat en nä kan: Kaidin meakot re i koma.
22 On the contrary, those members which seem to be weaker are essential,
Pwe kokon en war kai likamata re me luet, a so, pwe re me kasampwal.
23 and the parts which we think less honorable we treat with greater honor, and our unpresentable parts are treated with dignity,
O kokon en war kai, me kitail kin lamelame, me re sota non mau, kitail kin apapwali sang me tei kan, o irail me sota non sansal mau, kitail kin kapwataki.
24 whereas our presentable parts have no such need. But God has put the body together, giving greater honor to the lesser member,
Pwe irail me sansal mau, sota kin mau ong en kapwataki. A Kot kotin kapad pena war o kapwataki me luet oko sang me tei kan,
25 that there may be no division in the body, but that the members should have the same concern for one another.
Pwe war de saparok pasang, a kokon akan en apapwali pena.
26 When one member suffers, all the members suffer with it. If a member is honored, all rejoice with it.
O ma kasang ta ieu matakada, kasang karos ap iang matakada; o ma kasang ta ieu pan kalinganada, kokon karos pan iang polauleki.
27 Now you are the body of Christ, and members individually.
A komail war en Kristus o kokon akan amen amen duen pwais a.
28 God has set some in the church: first apostles, second prophets, third teachers, then miracle workers, then gifts of healings, helps, governments, and various kinds of tongues.
A iet akan, me Kot kotiki ong momodisou: Kaieu wanporon akan, ap saukop akan, a kasilu saunpadak kan, ap me wiada manaman akan, ap pai kan men kakelada me somau kan, ap men sauasa, o saumas akan, o song en lokaia.
29 Are all apostles? Are all prophets? Are all teachers? Are all miracle workers?
Iaduen irail karos me wanporon akan? Karos me saukop akan? Karos me saunpadak kan? Karos me men wia manaman akan?
30 Do all have gifts of healings? Do all speak with tongues? Do all interpret?
Karos ar pai en mak kan, men kakelada me somau kan mi ren karos? Karos kin lokaia ngil pasang? Karos kin kasiriwuk lokaia?
31 But earnestly desire the greater gifts. Moreover, I show a most excellent way to you.
A komail inong iong pai en mak lapalap akan, i ap pan kasale ong komail al apot, me mau sang mepukat karos.
