1 Chronicles 25

1 Moreover, David and the captains of the army set apart for the service certain of the sons of Asaph, and of Heman, and of Jeduthun, were to prophesy with harps, with stringed instruments, and with cymbals: and the number of those who did the work according to their service was:

Dawid ne asahene no yiyii mmarima firii Asaf, Heman ne Yedutun mmusua mu sɛ wɔmfa nsankuten, mmɛnta ne kyankyan mmɔ Onyankopɔn asɛm no ho dawuro. Wɔn din ne wɔn nnwuma na ɛdidi soɔ yi:

2 of the sons of Asaph: Zakkur, and Joseph, and Nethaniah, and Asarelah, the sons of Asaph, under the hand of Asaph, who prophesied after the order of the king.

Na Asaf mmammarima no nie: Sakur, Yosef, Netania ne Asarela. Na wɔhyɛ wɔn agya Asaf ase. Ɔno na ɔhene hyɛɛ no ma ɔbɔɔ Onyankopɔn asɛm no ho dawuro.

3 Of Jeduthun; the sons of Jeduthun: Gedaliah, and Zeri, and Jeshaiah, and Shimei, and Hashabiah, and Mattithiah, six, under the hands of their father Jeduthun, who prophesied with the harp in giving thanks and praising the LORD.

Na Yedutun wɔ mmammarima a wɔn nie: Gedalia, Seri, Yesaia, Simei, Hasabia ne Matitia. Wɔyɛ baasia a wɔhyɛ wɔn agya Yedutun ase. Ɔno na ɔnam sankuten so de aseda ne nkamfo maa Awurade de bɔɔ Onyankopɔn asɛm no ho dawuro.

4 Of Heman; the sons of Heman: Bukkiah, Mattaniah, Uzziel, Shubael, and Jerimoth, Hananiah, Hanani, Eliathah, Giddalti, and Romamti-Ezer, Joshbekashah, Mallothi, Hothir, Mahazioth.

Na Heman mmammarima din nie: Bukia, Matania, Usiel, Sebuel, Yerimot, Hanania, Hanani, Eliata, Gidalti, Romamti-Eser, Yosbekasa, Maloti, Hotir, ne Mahasiot.

5 All these were the sons of Heman the king's seer in the words of God, to lift up the horn. God gave to Heman fourteen sons and three daughters.

Yeinom ne Heman a ɔyɛ ɔhene nkɔmhyɛni no mmammarima. Onyankopɔn domm no mmammarima dunan ne mmammaa baasa.

6 All these were under the hands of their father for song in the house of the LORD, with cymbals, stringed instruments, and harps, for the service of God's house; Asaph, Jeduthun, and Heman being under the order of the king.

Na saa mmarima yi nyinaa hyɛ wɔn agyanom ase, na wɔnam so too nnwom wɔ Awurade fie. Wɔn nnwuma ne sɛ wɔbɔ kyankyan, mmɛnta ne nsankuten wɔ Onyankopɔn fie. Na Asaf, Yedutun ne Heman hyɛ ɔhene no ase.

7 The number of them, with their brothers who were instructed in singing to the LORD, even all who were skillful, was two hundred eighty-eight.

Na wɔatete wɔn ne wɔn abusuafoɔ nyinaa wɔ nnwom a wɔbɔ wɔ Awurade anim no mu. Na wɔn nyinaa dodoɔ yɛ ahanu aduɔwɔtwe nwɔtwe na wɔn mu biara wɔ nnwontoɔ ho nimdeɛ.

8 And they cast lots, watch with watch, the small as the great, the teacher as the pupil.

Wɔnam ntontobɔ kronkron so yiyii nnwomtofoɔ tuatuaa nnwuma ahodoɔ ano a wɔanhwɛ sɛ obi yɛ abɔfra anaa ɔpanin, ɔkyerɛkyerɛfoɔ anaa osuani.

9 Now the first lot came out for Asaph of Joseph, his sons and his brothers, twelve; the second to Gedaliah, his brothers and his sons, twelve:

10 the third to Zakkur, his sons and his brothers, twelve:

Ntonto a ɛtɔ so mmiɛnsa no bɔɔ Sakur, ɔne ne mmammarima ne nʼabusuafoɔ

11 the fourth to Zeri, his sons and his brothers, twelve:

Ntonto a ɛtɔ so ɛnan no bɔɔ Yisri, ɔne ne mmammarima ne nʼabusuafoɔ

12 the fifth to Nethaniah, his sons and his brothers, twelve:

Ntonto a ɛtɔ so enum no bɔɔ Netania, ɔne ne mmammarima ne nʼabusuafoɔ

13 the sixth to Bukkiah, his sons and his brothers, twelve:

Ntonto a ɛtɔ so nsia no bɔɔ Bukia, ɔne ne mmammarima ne nʼabusuafoɔ

14 the seventh to Asarelah, his sons and his brothers, twelve:

Ntonto a ɛtɔ so nson no bɔɔ Yesarela, ɔne ne mmammarima ne nʼabusuafoɔ

15 the eighth to Jeshaiah, his sons and his brothers, twelve:

Ntonto a ɛtɔ so nwɔtwe no bɔɔ Yesaia, ɔne ne mmammarima ne nʼabusuafoɔ

16 the ninth to Mattaniah, his sons and his brothers, twelve:

Ntonto a ɛtɔ so nkron no bɔɔ Matania, ɔne ne mmammarima ne nʼabusuafoɔ

17 the tenth to Shimei, his sons and his brothers, twelve:

Ntonto a ɛtɔ so edu no bɔɔ Simei, ɔne ne mmammarima ne nʼabusuafoɔ

18 the eleventh to Uzziel, his sons and his brothers, twelve:

Ntonto a ɛtɔ so dubaako no bɔɔ Asarel, ɔne ne mmammarima ne nʼabusuafoɔ

19 the twelfth to Hashabiah, his sons and his brothers, twelve:

Ntonto a ɛtɔ so dumienu no bɔɔ Hasabia, ɔne ne mmammarima ne nʼabusuafoɔ

20 for the thirteenth, Shubael, his sons and his brothers, twelve:

Ntonto a ɛtɔ so dumiɛnsa no bɔɔ Subael, ɔne ne mmammarima ne nʼabusuafoɔ

21 for the fourteenth, Mattithiah, his sons and his brothers, twelve:

Ntonto a ɛtɔ so dunan no bɔɔ Matitia, ɔne ne mmammarima ne nʼabusuafoɔ

22 for the fifteenth to Jerimoth, his sons and his brothers, twelve:

Ntonto a ɛtɔ so dunum no bɔɔ Yeremot, ɔne ne mmammarima ne nʼabusuafoɔ

23 for the sixteenth to Hananiah, his sons and his brothers, twelve:

Ntonto a ɛtɔ so dunsia no bɔɔ Hanania, ɔne ne mmammarima ne nʼabusuafoɔ

24 for the seventeenth to Joshbekashah, his sons and his brothers, twelve:

Ntonto a ɛtɔ so dunson no bɔɔ Yosbekasa, ɔne ne mmammarima ne nʼabusuafoɔ

25 for the eighteenth to Hanani, his sons and his brothers, twelve:

Ntonto a ɛtɔ so dunwɔtwe no bɔɔ Hanani, ɔne ne mmammarima ne nʼabusuafoɔ

26 for the nineteenth to Mallothi, his sons and his brothers, twelve:

Ntonto a ɛtɔ so dunkron no bɔɔ Maloti, ɔne ne mmammarima ne nʼabusuafoɔ

27 for the twentieth to Eliathah, his sons and his brothers, twelve:

Ntonto a ɛtɔ so aduonu no bɔɔ Eliata, ɔne ne mmammarima ne nʼabusuafoɔ

28 for the one and twentieth to Hothir, his sons and his brothers, twelve:

Ntonto a ɛtɔ so aduonu baako no bɔɔ Hotir, ɔne ne mmammarima ne nʼabusuafoɔ

29 for the two and twentieth to Giddalti, his sons and his brothers, twelve:

Ntonto a ɛtɔ so aduonu mmienu no bɔɔ Gidalti, ɔne ne mmammarima ne nʼabusuafoɔ

30 for the three and twentieth to Mahazioth, his sons and his brothers, twelve:

Ntonto a ɛtɔ so aduonu mmiɛnsa no bɔɔ Mahasiot, ɔne ne mmammarima ne nʼabusuafoɔ

31 for the four and twentieth to Romamti-Ezer, his sons and his brothers, twelve.
