Romans 5
1 Being therefore justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Yeshua the Messiah;
हामी विश्वासद्वारा धर्मी ठहरिने हुनाले हाम्रा प्रभु येशू ख्रीष्टद्वारा हामी परमेश्वरसँग शान्तिमा छौँ ।
2 through whom we also have our access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and we rejoice in hope of the glory of God.
हामीले उहाँप्रतिको विश्वासद्वारा यो अनुग्रहमा प्रवेश पाएका छौँ जसमा हामी खडा छौँ । हामी परमेश्वरले हामीलाई भविष्यको निम्ति दिनुहुने दृढता अर्थात् हामी परमेश्वरको महिमामा सहभागी हुनेछौँ भन्ने दृढतामा रमाउँछौँ ।
3 Not only this, but we also rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering works perseverance;
यति मात्र होइन, तर हामी हाम्रो कष्टमा पनि रमाउँछौँ । हामी जान्दछौँ, कि कष्टले सहनशीलता उत्पन्न गराउँछ ।
4 and perseverance, proven character; and proven character, hope:
सहनशीलताले सहमति उत्पन्न गराउँछ र सहमतिले भविष्यको निम्ति भरोसा उत्पन्न गराउँछ ।
5 and hope does not disappoint us, because God's love has been poured out into our hearts through the Ruach ha-Kodesh who was given to us.
यो भरोसाले निराश पार्दैन, किनभने हामीलाई दिइएको पवित्र आत्माद्वारा परमेश्वरको प्रेम हाम्रो हृदयमा खन्याइएको छ ।
6 For while we were yet weak, at the right time Messiah died for the ungodly.
किनकि हामी कमजोर हुँदा नै ख्रीष्ट अधर्मीको निम्ति ठिक समयमा मर्नुभयो ।
7 For rarely does one die for the righteous. Yet perhaps for a good person someone might dare to die.
एक जना धर्मी मानिसको लागि मुस्किलले कोही मर्नेछ । अर्थात् एक जना असल मानिसको लागि सायद कोहीले मर्ने साहस गर्थ्यो ।
8 But God commends his own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Messiah died for us.
तर परमेश्वरले हामीप्रति उहाँको आफ्नो प्रेम प्रमाणित गर्नुहुन्छ, किनकि हामी पापी हुँदै ख्रीष्ट हाम्रा निम्ति मर्नुभयो ।
9 Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we will be saved from God's wrath through him.
अहिले हामी उहाँको रगतद्वारा अझ धेरै धर्मी ठहराइएका छौँ, अनि हामी उहाँको क्रोधबाट बचाइनेछौँ ।
10 For if, while we were enemies, we were reconciled to God through the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we will be saved by his life.
हामी शत्रु हुँदा नै हामीलाई उहाँका पुत्रको मृत्युद्वारा परमेश्वरसँग मिलाप गराइयो; मिलाप भएपछि उहाँको जीवनद्वारा हामी अझ धेरै बचाइनेछौँ ।
11 Not only so, but we also rejoice in God through our Lord Yeshua the Messiah, through whom we have now received the reconciliation.
यति मात्र होइन, तर हामी हाम्रा प्रभु येशू ख्रीष्टद्वारा परमेश्वरमा रमाउँछौँ, जसद्वारा हामीले यो मिलाप प्राप्त गरेका छौँ ।
12 Therefore, as sin entered into the world through one man, and death through sin; and so death passed to all people, because all sinned.
यसकारण, एक जना मानिसद्वारा संसारमा पाप प्रवेश गर्यो, यसरी पापद्वारा मृत्यु प्रवेश गर्यो । अनि मृत्यु सबै मानिसमा फैलियो, किनभने सबैले पाप गरे ।
13 For until the law, sin was in the world; but sin is not charged when there is no law.
किनकि व्यवस्था नहुँदा पनि संसारमा पाप थियो, तर व्यवस्था नहुँदा पापको निम्ति कुनै लेखा हुँदैन ।
14 Nevertheless death reigned from Adam until Moses, even over those whose sins weren't like Adam's disobedience, who is a foreshadowing of him who was to come.
तथापि, मृत्युले आदमदेखि मोशासम्म र आदमले झैँ अनाज्ञाकारिताको पाप नगर्नेमाथि पनि राज्य गर्यो जो आउनु पर्थ्यो त्यसको प्रतिरूप थियो ।
15 But the free gift is not like the trespass. For if by the trespass of the one the many died, much more did the grace of God, and the gift by the grace of the one man, Yeshua the Messiah, abound to the many.
तरै पनि यो सित्तैँको वरदान अधर्म जस्तो होइन । एक जनाको अधर्मले धेरै जना मरे, परमेश्वरको अनुग्रहले अझ धेरै गर्यो र एक जना मानिस अर्थात् येशू ख्रीष्टको अनुग्रहद्वारा आउने वरदान धेरैका निम्ति प्रशस्त होस् ।
16 The gift is not as through one who sinned: for the judgment came by one to condemnation, but the free gift came of many trespasses to justification.
किनकि वरदान एक जनाले पाप गरेको परिणामजस्तो होइन । एकातिर, एक जना मानिसको अपराधले दण्डको न्याय आयो । अर्कोतिर, सित्तैँको वरदान धेरै अपराधपछि धर्मीकरणको परिणाममा आयो ।
17 For if by the trespass of the one, death reigned through the one; so much more will those who receive the abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness reign in life through the one, Yeshua the Messiah.
एक जनाको अपराधद्वारा अर्थात् एक जनाद्वारा मृत्युले राज्य गर्यो, अनुग्रह र धार्मिकताको वरदानको प्रशस्तता प्राप्त गर्नेले एक जना अर्थात् येशू ख्रीष्टको जीवनद्वारा अझ धेरै राज्य गर्नेछ ।
18 So then as through one trespass, all people were condemned; even so through one act of righteousness, all people were justified to life.
यसरी एउटा अपराधद्वारा सबै मानिस दण्डको भागीदार हुन आए र एउटा धार्मिकताको कामद्वारा सबै मानिसको निम्ति धर्मीकरण आयो ।
19 For as through the one man's disobedience many were made sinners, even so through the obedience of the one, many will be made righteous.
जसरी एक जना मानिसको अनाज्ञाकारिताद्वारा धेरै जनालाई पापी बनाइयो, त्यसरी नै एक जनाको आज्ञाकारिताद्वारा धेरै जनालाई धर्मी बनाइनेछ ।
20 The law came in besides, that the trespass might abound; but where sin abounded, grace abounded more exceedingly;
तर व्यवस्था आयो ताकि अपराध बढोस् । तर जहाँ पाप बढ्यो, त्यहाँ अनुग्रह पनि झन् बढ्यो ।
21 that as sin reigned in death, even so grace might reign through righteousness to everlasting life through Yeshua the Messiah our Lord. (aiōnios g166)
ताकि जसरी पापले मृत्युद्वारा राज्य गर्यो, त्यसरी नै अनुग्रहले हाम्रा प्रभु येशू ख्रीष्टद्वारा अनन्त जीवनको निम्ति धार्मिकताद्वारा राज्य गरोस् । (aiōnios g166)
