< Romans 12 >

1 Therefore I urge you, brothers, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service.
Hiza, ta ishato, hinttee, hintte asatethaa Xoossaa ufayssiya, paxanne geeshsha yarshsho oothidi, immana mela taani hinttena Xoossaa maarotethan woossays. Xoossaa hintte goynnanaw bessiya tuma ogey hessa.
2 And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what is the good, well-pleasing, and perfect will of God. (aiōn g165)
Lo77o, ufaysseyssanne polo gidida Xoossaa sheniya hintte shaakki eranaw hintte qofan laamettiteppe attin ha alamiya daanopite. (aiōn g165)
3 For I say, through the grace that was given me, to everyone among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think, but to think with sober judgment, as God has apportioned to each person a measure of faith.
Xoossay hintte issuwas issuwas immida ammanuwa mela wozanaama asada qoppite. Qoppanaw besseyssafe aathidi hinttena dummayidi, otoron qoppofite gada taw imettida aadho keehatethan hinttew odays.
4 For even as we have many members in one body, and all the members do not have the same function,
Nu issi asatethaa giddon dumma dumma kifileti de7oosona; he dumma dumma kifiletas dumma dumma oosoy de7ees.
5 so we, who are many, are one body in Messiah, and individually members one of another.
Hessada, nuuni daro asi gidikkok, Kiristtoosan issi asatethi gidida. Nuuni issi asatethi gididi dumma dumma kifileti issoy issuwara oykettida.
6 And we have different gifts according to the grace that was given to us. If prophecy, according to the proportion of the faith;
Nuus imettida aadho keehatethan dumma dumma imotati de7oosona. Nu imoy tinbbit odo gidikko, nuus de7iya ammanuwa mela odanaw bessees.
7 if service, in the service; if teaching, in the teaching;
Nu imoy harata maade gidikko, he oosuwan minnanaw bessees; tamaarsso gidikko, he tamaarssuwan minnanaw bessees.
8 if exhorting, in exhortation; giving, in generosity; leading, in diligence; showing mercy, in cheerfulness.
Nu imoy harata minthetho gidikko, minnidi minthethanaw bessees. Nu imoy nuus de7iyabaappe haratas imo gidikko, wozanappe immanaw bessees. Nu imoy ayso gidikko, minnidi aysanaw bessees. Nu imoy haratas keeho gidikko, ufayssan keehanaw bessees.
9 Let love be without hypocrisy. Abhor that which is evil. Cling to that which is good.
Hintte siiqoy qoodheppe qommon gidanaw bessenna. Iitabaa ixxite; lo77obaa minthidi oykkite.
10 In love of the brothers be tenderly affectionate one to another; outdo one another in showing honor;
Issoy issuwara ishada siiqetite; issoy issuwa bonchchite.
11 not lagging in diligence; fervent in spirit; serving the Lord;
Azallofit; hintte ayyaanan minnidi, Godaas oothite.
12 rejoicing in hope; enduring in troubles; continuing steadfastly in prayer;
Xoossay immida ufayssan ufayttite; metuwa dandda7ite; ubba wode Xoossaa woossite.
13 contributing to the needs of the kadoshim; given to hospitality.
Ammaniya geeshshata koshshiyaban maaddite; imathata mokkite.
14 Bless those who persecute you; bless, and do not curse.
Hinttena goodeyssata anjjite; anjjiteppe attin baaddofite.
15 Rejoice with those who rejoice. Weep with those who weep.
Ufayttessatara ufayttite; yeekkeyssatara yeekkite.
16 Live in harmony with one another. Do not be arrogant, but associate with the humble. Do not be conceited.
Issoy issuwara issi qofan de7ite. Otoro qofaa aggidi, hinttena kawushshidi, kawushsha ooso oothite. Hintte hinttena cincca gidi qoppofite.
17 Repay no one evil for evil. Respect what is honorable in the sight of all people.
Oonikka hinttew iitabaa oothiko, he uraas iita zaaroppite. Asa ubbaa sinthan nashisiya lo77o ooso oothite.
18 If it is possible, as much as it is up to you, be at peace with all people.
Asa ubbaara saron daanaw hinttew dandda7ettiya ubbaa oothite.
19 Do not seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but leave room for the wrath. For it is written, "Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord."
Ta ishato, hinttee, hintte huu7en asas halo keyoppite. Xoossay halo kessana mela iyaw aggaagite. Geeshsha Maxaafan, “Taani halo kessana; taani kushe zaarana” yaagees Goday, geetettidi xaafettis.
20 Therefore "If your enemy is hungry, feed him. If he is thirsty, give him a drink; for by doing this you will heap coals of fire on his head."
Shin Geeshsha Maxaafan, “Ne morkkey koshattiko muza; I saamotiko ushsha. Neeni hessa oothiko iya huu7en yeella tama bonqqo qolaasa” geetettidi xaafettis.
21 Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.
Iitaa lo77on xoonappe attin iitaan xoonettofa.
