< Romans 12 >
1 Therefore I urge you, brothers, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service.
Emomiyo, jowetena, ajiwou kuom ngʼwono mar Nyasaye, mondo uchiw ringreu kaka misango mangima maler kendo ma Nyasaye morgo, nikech mano e yor lemo makare.
2 And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what is the good, well-pleasing, and perfect will of God. (aiōn )
Kik koro ulu kit ngima pinyni, to lokreuru ka parou doko manyien pile, eka unubed gi nyalo mar pimo kendo ngʼeyo dwach Nyasaye, ma en dwache maber, mowinjore kendo malongʼo chuth. (aiōn )
3 For I say, through the grace that was given me, to everyone among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think, but to think with sober judgment, as God has apportioned to each person a measure of faith.
4 For even as we have many members in one body, and all the members do not have the same function,
Nikech mana kaka ngʼato ka ngʼato kuomwa nigi ringruok achiel man-gi fuonde mangʼeny, to kendo fuondegi duto ok tim tich machalre,
5 so we, who are many, are one body in Messiah, and individually members one of another.
6 And we have different gifts according to the grace that was given to us. If prophecy, according to the proportion of the faith;
Wan gi mich mopogore opogore kaluwore gi ngʼwono momiwa. Ka mich ngʼato en koro wach, to mondo oti kode kaluwore gi yie mare.
7 if service, in the service; if teaching, in the teaching;
Ka en tiyo ni ji, to mondo oti, ka en puonj, to mondo opuonji.
8 if exhorting, in exhortation; giving, in generosity; leading, in diligence; showing mercy, in cheerfulness.
Ka en jiwo ji, to mondo ojiw ji; ka en chiwo ne joma ochando, to mondo ochiw gi ngʼwono; ka en telo, to mondo orit ji gi kinda; ka en kecho ji, to mondo otime komor.
9 Let love be without hypocrisy. Abhor that which is evil. Cling to that which is good.
Hera nyaka bed mar adier. Beduru mosin gi timbe maricho; padreuru kuom gik mabeyo.
10 In love of the brothers be tenderly affectionate one to another; outdo one another in showing honor;
11 not lagging in diligence; fervent in spirit; serving the Lord;
Kik chunyu nyosre, to meduru bedo motegno, kutiyo ni Ruoth.
12 rejoicing in hope; enduring in troubles; continuing steadfastly in prayer;
Beduru mamor kuom geno, kutimo sinani e sand muyudo, kendo ulamo ma ok uywe.
13 contributing to the needs of the kadoshim; given to hospitality.
Poguru giu gi jo-Nyasaye mochando. Beduru joma ohero rwako welo.
14 Bless those who persecute you; bless, and do not curse.
Gwedhuru joma sandou; gwedhgiuru agwedha, kik ukwongʼ-gi.
15 Rejoice with those who rejoice. Weep with those who weep.
Moruru gi joma mor, kendo ywaguru gi joma ywak.
16 Live in harmony with one another. Do not be arrogant, but associate with the humble. Do not be conceited.
Daguru gi winjruok e kindu. Kik usungru, to beduru gi chuny mohero riwore gi joma ni e ngima mapiny.
17 Repay no one evil for evil. Respect what is honorable in the sight of all people.
18 If it is possible, as much as it is up to you, be at peace with all people.
Ka nyalore, to temuru mondo udag gi kwe gi ji duto.
19 Do not seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but leave room for the wrath. For it is written, "Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord."
Kik uchul kuoro, osiepena, to weuru thuolo ne mirimb Ruoth Nyasaye, nimar ondiki niya, “An ema nachul kuor; abiro chulo,” Jehova Nyasaye owacho.
20 Therefore "If your enemy is hungry, feed him. If he is thirsty, give him a drink; for by doing this you will heap coals of fire on his head."
To bende Muma wacho niya, “Ka jasiki odenyo, to miye chiemo; ka riyo oloye, to miye gimoro omodhi, ka itimo kamano, ibiro choko chuk mach maliel e wiye.”
21 Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.
Kik uyie richo lou, to louru richo gi tim maber.
