< Revelation 10 >
1 I saw another mighty angel coming down out of the sky, clothed with a cloud. A rainbow was on his head. His face was like the sun, and his legs like pillars of fire.
Hessafe guye, ta hara wolqqaama kiitanchchoy saloppe sa7a wodhdhishin be7as. I shaara ma77is; iya huu7iya bolla zuullay de7ees. Iya som77oy awa mela; iya tohoy tama tuussa mela.
2 He had in his hand a little open scroll. He set his right foot on the sea, and his left on the land.
He kiitanchchoy dooya de7iya issi guutha xaatha maxaafaa ba kushen oykkidi, ba ushachcha tohuwa abbaa bolla essidi, ba haddirssa tohuwa biitta bolla essis.
3 He shouted with a loud voice, as a lion roars. When he shouted, the seven thunders uttered their voices.
Gudiya gaammoda ba qaala dhoqqu oothidi waassis. I waassida wode laappun dadati bantta guunthaa sissidosona.
4 When the seven thunders sounded, I was about to write; but I heard a voice from the sky saying, "Seal up the things which the seven thunders said, and do not write them."
Laappun dadati odettida wode ta xaafanaw giigettas. Shin saloppe, “Laappun dadati odidayssa maatamen gorddafe attin xaafoppa” yaagiya girssaa si7as.
5 The angel whom I saw standing on the sea and on the land lifted up his right hand to the sky,
Yaatidi, abbaa bollanne biittaa bolla eqqida, ta be7ida kiitanchchoy, ba ushachcha kushiya salo pude miccis.
6 and swore by him who lives forever and ever, who created heaven and the things that are in it, the earth and the things that are in it, and the sea and the things that are in it, that there will no longer be delay, (aiōn )
I miccidi saloninne iya giddon de7iya ubbaa, sa7aninne iya giddon de7iya ubbaa, abbaanne iya giddon de7iya ubbaa medhdhida, merinaw de7iya Xoossaa sunthan caaqqidi, “Hizappe guye, Xoossay gam77enna. (aiōn )

Shin laappuntha kiitanchchoy ba moyziya punniya wode Xoossay ba aylle gidida nabeta baggara qonccisida xuura qofay polettana” yaagis.
8 The voice which I heard from heaven, again speaking with me, said, "Go, take the scroll which is open in the hand of the angel who stands on the sea and on the land."
Hessafe guye, abbaa bollanne biittaa bolla eqqidi, “Iya kushen dooyettidi de7iya xaatha maxaafaa kiitanchchuwa kusheppe ekka” yaagidi nam77antho taw odishin si7as.
9 I went to the angel, telling him to give me the little scroll. He said to me, "Take it, and eat it up. It will make your stomach bitter, but in your mouth it will be as sweet as honey."
Taani he kiitanchchuwako bada, guutha xaatha maxaafaa imma gada oychchas. I taakko, “Ekkada ma; I ne ulon cammana, shin ne doonan eessada mal7ana” yaagis.
10 I took the little scroll out of the angel's hand, and ate it up. It was as sweet as honey in my mouth. When I had eaten it, my stomach was made bitter.
Taani kiitanchchuwa kusheppe he guutha xaatha maxaafaa ekkada mas; ta doonan eessada mal77is, shin ta ulon cammis.
11 They told me, "You must prophesy again about many peoples, nations, languages, and kings."
Hessafe guye, taakko, “Neeni yara ubbaas, dere ubbaas, dumma dumma doonan odetteyssatasinne kawotas tinbbite zaara odanaw bessees” yaagis.
