< Psalms 87 >
1 [A Psalm by the sons of Korah; a Song.] His foundation is in the holy mountains.

2 The LORD loves the gates of Zion more than all the dwellings of Jacob.
Awurade dɔ Sion apono no sene Yakob atenaeɛ nyinaa.
3 Glorious things are spoken about you, city of God. (Selah)
Wɔka wo ho animuonyamsɛm Ao Onyankopɔn kuropɔn:
4 I will record Rahab and Babylon among those who acknowledge me. Look, Philistia, Tyre, and also Ethiopia: "This one was born there."
“Mede Rahab ne Babilonia bɛka wɔn a wɔyɛ ɔsetie ma me no ho, Filistia, Tiro ne Kus nso mɛka sɛ, ‘Wɔwoo yeinom wɔ Sion.’”
5 Yes, of Zion it will be said, "This one and that one was born in her;" the Most High himself will establish her.
Ampa ara wɔbɛka wɔ Sion ho sɛ, “Wɔwoo yei ne ɔno wɔ ne mu, na Ɔsorosoroni no ankasa de no bɛtim hɔ.”
6 The LORD will count, when he writes up the peoples, "This one was born there." (Selah)
Awurade bɛtwerɛ wɔ nnipa dintwerɛ nwoma no mu sɛ, “Wɔwoo yei wɔ Sion.”
7 And those who sing as well as the pipers: "My whole source of joy is in you."
