Psalms 82

1 [A Psalm by Asaph.] God presides in the assembly of God. He judges among the gods.

१आसाफाचे स्तोत्र देव दैवी मंडळीत उभा आहे, तो देवांच्यामध्ये न्याय देतो.

2 "How long will you judge unjustly, and show partiality to the wicked?" (Selah)

२कोठपर्यंत तुम्ही अन्यायाने न्याय कराल? आणि दुष्टांना पक्षपातीपणा दाखवाल?

3 "Defend the weak, the poor, and the fatherless. Maintain the rights of the poor and oppressed.

३गरीबांना आणि पितृहीनांना संरक्षण दे; त्या पीडित व दरिद्री यांच्या हक्काचे पालन करा.

4 Rescue the weak and needy. Deliver them out of the hand of the wicked."

४त्या गरीब व गरजवंताना बचाव करा. त्यांच्या दुष्टांच्या हातातून त्यांना सोडवा.

5 They do not know, neither do they understand. They walk back and forth in darkness. All the foundations of the earth are shaken.

५“ते जाणत नाहीत किंवा समजत नाहीत; ते अंधारात इकडेतिकडे भटकत राहतात; पृथ्वीचे सर्व पाये ढासळले आहेत.”

6 I said, "You are gods, all of you are sons of the Most High.

६मी म्हणालो, “तुम्ही देव आहात, आणि तुम्ही सर्व परात्पराची मुले आहात.”

7 Nevertheless you shall die like men, and fall like one of the rulers."

७तरी तुम्ही मनुष्यासारखे मराल, आणि एखाद्या सरदारासारखे तुम्ही पडाल.

8 Arise, God, judge the earth, for you inherit all of the nations.

८हे देवा, ऊठ! पृथ्वीचा न्याय कर, कारण तू सर्व राष्ट्रे वतन करून घेशील.
