< Psalms 6 >
1 [For the Chief Musician; on stringed instruments, upon the eight-stringed lyre. A Psalm by David.] LORD, do not rebuke me in your anger, neither discipline me in your wrath.
MAING, kom der kotin kaloke kin ia omui ongiong, o der kame kin ia omui ongiong lapala!
2 Be gracious to me, LORD, for I am frail. LORD, heal me, for my bones are trembling.
Maing, kom kotin maki ong ia, pwe ngai me luet. Maing, kom kotin kamau ia la, Maing Ieowa, pwe ti kan me luetalar.
3 And my soul is greatly troubled. But you, LORD, how long?
O ngen i waponda melel. O Maing, arai da?
4 Return, LORD. Deliver my soul. Save me because of your lovingkindness.
Maing, kom kotin saupei dong ia, dorela ngen i. Kom kotin sauasa ia ni omui kalangan!
5 For in death there is no memory of you. In Sheol, who shall give you thanks? (Sheol )
Pwe murin melar solar me pan tamanda komui; o is me pan kapinga komui wasan mela? (Sheol )
6 I am weary with my groaning. Every night I drench my bed; I melt my couch with my tears.
I panga kida ai sangesang sang sautik lel mansang; i kawisokisokela ai los pil en mas ai.
7 My eye wastes away because of grief. It grows old because of all my adversaries.
Mom ai suede kilar ai insensued, o i malar, pweki kamakamasak pai me toto.
8 Depart from me, all you workers of iniquity, for the LORD has heard the sound of my weeping.
Komail aramas morsued akan karos kaiwei sang ia, pwe Ieowa kotin mangi ai sangesang.
9 The LORD has heard my plea. The LORD has accepted my prayer.
Ieowa kotin mangi ai ngidingid, o Ieowa kotin mangier ai kapakap.
10 May all my enemies be ashamed and greatly terrified. May they turn back, suddenly ashamed.
Ai imwintiti karos pan namenokela o masakada melel, re pan tangwei o madang sarodi.
