Psalms 23

1 [A Psalm by David.] The LORD is my shepherd; I will not lack.

2 He makes me lie down in green pastures. He leads me beside still waters.

Qam a sainaak hun awh ni ih sak nawh, tui ang bymnaak hun na ni hqui hy.

3 He restores my soul. He guides me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake.

Ka hqingnaak ve ni tlaih pe nawh ang ming ak caming dyngnaak lam benna ce ni sawi hy.

4 Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me. Your rod and your staff, they comfort me.

Thihnaak lawk-kqawng hqaw nyng seiawm, ap kqih tikawng; kawtih na thingboeng ingkaw na sawnghqawl ing kang ngaih ni qep sak hy.

5 You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies. You anoint my head with oil. My cup overflows.

Ka qaalkhqi haiawh kai aham caboei ni tloeng pe hyk ti, ka lu ve situi ing ni syp pe nawh; kak boet awh be ngen hy.

6 Surely goodness and loving kindness shall follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the LORD's house forever.
