< Psalms 19 >
1 [For the Chief Musician. A Psalm by David.] The heavens declare the glory of God. The expanse shows his handiwork.
Kumutungamiri wokuimba. Pisarema raDhavhidhi. Matenga anotaura kubwinya kwaMwari; matenga anoparidza mabasa amaoko ake.
2 Day after day they pour forth speech, and night after night they display knowledge.
Zuva nezuva anotaura; usiku nousiku anoratidza zivo.
3 There is no speech nor language, where their voice is not heard.
Hakuna mutauro kana rurimi rusinganzwi inzwi ravo.
4 Their voice has gone out to all the earth, their words to the farthest part of the world. In them he has set a tent for the sun,
Inzwi razvo rinosvika panyika yose, mashoko azvo kumagumo apasi. Mumatenga imomo, akadzika tende rezuva,
5 which is as a bridegroom coming out of his chamber, like a strong man rejoicing to run his course.
rakaita sechikomba chinobuda mumba, seshasha inopemberera kumhanya nhangemutange.
6 His going forth is from the end of the heavens, his circuit to its ends; There is nothing hidden from its heat.
Rinobuda kuno rumwe rutivi rwedenga richitenderera kusvikira kuno rumwe rutivi; hakuna chinhu chakavanzika kubva pakupisa kwaro.
7 The LORD's Law is perfect, restoring the soul. The LORD's testimony is sure, making wise the simple.
Murayiro waJehovha wakakwana, unomutsiridza mweya. Zvirevo zvaJehovha zvakavimbika, zvinopa njere kuna vasina mano.
8 The LORD's precepts are right, rejoicing the heart. The LORD's commandment is pure, enlightening the eyes.
Zvirevo zvaJehovha zvakarurama, zvinopa mufaro kumwoyo. Murayiro waJehovha unopenya, unopa chiedza kumaziso.
9 The fear of the LORD is clean, enduring forever. The LORD's ordinances are true, and righteous altogether.
Kutya Jehovha kwakanaka, kunogara nokusingaperi. Zvakatongwa naJehovha ndezvechokwadi uye zvose zvakarurama.
10 More to be desired are they than gold, yes, than much fine gold; sweeter also than honey and the extract of the honeycomb.
Zvinokosha kupfuura goridhe, kupfuura goridhe rakanatswa; zvinotapira kupfuura uchi, kupinda uchi hwabva muzinga.
11 Moreover by them is your servant warned. In keeping them there is great reward.
Muranda wenyu anoyambirwa nazvo; pakuzvichengeta pano mubayiro mukuru.
12 Who can discern his errors? Forgive me from hidden errors.
Ndianiko angaziva kukanganisa kwake? Ndikanganwirei mhosva dzangu dzakavanzika.
13 Keep back your servant also from presumptuous sins. Let them not have dominion over me. Then I will be upright. I will be blameless and innocent of great transgression.
Dzorai muranda wenyu kubva pakutadza nobwoni; ngazvirege kuva nesimba pamusoro pangu. Ipapo handizovi nemhosva, ndisina mhaka yokudarika kukuru.
14 Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in your sight always, LORD, my rock and my redeemer.
Mashoko omuromo wangu nokurangarira kwomwoyo wangu ngazvifadze pamberi penyu, imi Jehovha, Dombo rangu noMudzikinuri wangu.
