Psalms 19
1 [For the Chief Musician. A Psalm by David.] The heavens declare the glory of God. The expanse shows his handiwork.
૧મુખ્ય ગવૈયાને માટે. દાઉદનું ગીત. આકાશો ઈશ્વરનો મહિમા પ્રગટ કરે છે અને અંતરિક્ષ તેમના હાથનું કામ દર્શાવે છે!
2 Day after day they pour forth speech, and night after night they display knowledge.
૨દિવસ દિવસને તેમના વિષે કહે છે; રાત રાતને તેમનું ડહાપણ પ્રગટ કરે છે.
3 There is no speech nor language, where their voice is not heard.
૩ત્યાં વચન નથી અને શબ્દો પણ નથી; તેઓની વાણી સંભાળતી નથી.
4 Their voice has gone out to all the earth, their words to the farthest part of the world. In them he has set a tent for the sun,
૪તેઓનો વિસ્તાર આખી પૃથ્વીમાં છે અને જગતના છેડા સુધી તેઓની સાક્ષી ફેલાયેલી છે. તેઓમાં ઈશ્વરે સૂર્યને માટે મંડપ ઊભો કર્યો છે.
5 which is as a bridegroom coming out of his chamber, like a strong man rejoicing to run his course.
૫સૂર્ય પોતાના ઓરડામાંથી નીકળતા વરરાજા જેવો છે અને તે બળવાન માણસની જેમ પોતાની શરત દોડવામાં આનંદ માને છે.
6 His going forth is from the end of the heavens, his circuit to its ends; There is nothing hidden from its heat.
૬તે આકાશને એક છેડેથી નીકળી આવે છે અને તેના બીજા છેડા સુધી પરિક્રમણ કરે છે; તેની ઉષ્ણતા પામ્યા વિના કોઈ બાકી રહી જતું નથી.
7 The LORD's Law is perfect, restoring the soul. The LORD's testimony is sure, making wise the simple.
૭યહોવાહના નિયમો સંપૂર્ણ છે, તે આત્માને તાજગી આપે છે; યહોવાહની સાક્ષી વિશ્વાસપાત્ર છે, તે ભોળાને બુદ્ધિમાન કરે છે.
8 The LORD's precepts are right, rejoicing the heart. The LORD's commandment is pure, enlightening the eyes.
૮યહોવાહના વિધિઓ યથાર્થ છે, તેઓ હૃદયને આનંદ આપે છે; યહોવાહની આજ્ઞાઓ નિર્મળ છે, જે આંખોને પ્રકાશ આપે છે.
9 The fear of the LORD is clean, enduring forever. The LORD's ordinances are true, and righteous altogether.
૯યહોવાહનો ભય શુદ્ધ અને અનાદિ છે; યહોવાહના ઠરાવો સત્ય તથા તદ્દન ન્યાયી છે.
10 More to be desired are they than gold, yes, than much fine gold; sweeter also than honey and the extract of the honeycomb.
૧૦તે શુદ્ધ સોના કરતાં, પણ વધુ પસંદ કરવા યોગ્ય છે; વળી મધપૂડાનાં ટીપાં કરતાં તેઓ વધારે મીઠાં છે.
11 Moreover by them is your servant warned. In keeping them there is great reward.
૧૧હા, તેનાથી તમારા સેવકને ચેતવણી મળે છે તેઓને પાળવામાં મોટો લાભ છે.
12 Who can discern his errors? Forgive me from hidden errors.
૧૨પોતાની ભૂલો કોણ જાણી શકે? છાના પાપથી તમે મને મુક્ત કરો.
13 Keep back your servant also from presumptuous sins. Let them not have dominion over me. Then I will be upright. I will be blameless and innocent of great transgression.
૧૩જાણી જોઈને કરતાં પાપથી તમે તમારા સેવકને અટકાવો; તેઓને મારા પર રાજ કરવા ન દો. એટલે હું સંપૂર્ણ થઈશ અને હું મહાપાપમાંથી બચી જઈશ.
14 Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in your sight always, LORD, my rock and my redeemer.
૧૪હે યહોવાહ, મારા ખડક તથા મારા ઉદ્ધારનાર મારા મુખના શબ્દો તથા મારા હૃદયના વિચારો તમારી આગળ માન્ય થાઓ.
