< Psalms 17 >
1 [A Prayer by David.] Hear, LORD, my righteous plea; Give ear to my prayer, that doesn't go out of deceitful lips.
Janjiño ty fahiti’e, ry Iehovà, haoño ty fitoreoko, anoloro ravembia ty halaliko boak’an-tsoñy tsy amam-pìtake!
2 Let my sentence come forth from your presence. Let your eyes look on equity.
Ampionjono boak’ añatrefa’o eo ty añomezan-to ahiko! Ampivazoho mahity o fihaino’oo!
3 You have proved my heart. You have visited me in the night. You have tried me, and found nothing. I have resolved that my mouth shall not disobey.
Fa nitsohe’o ty troko, naho nitilihe’o te haleñe naho nadiñe’o, vaho tsy nahavazoho ty tsy mañeva miakatse am-bavako.
4 As for the works of men, by the word of your lips, I have kept myself from the ways of the violent.
Aa ty amo sata’ ondatio, o tsaram-pivimbi’oo ro nambenako tsy hombàko ty lala’ o masia-menao.
5 My steps have held fast to your paths. My feet have not slipped.
Fa mifahatse amo lala’oo o liakoo, tsy midorasitse o tombokoo,
6 I have called on you, for you will answer me, God. Turn your ear to me. Hear my speech.
Ho kanjieko irehe, amy te toiñe’o ry Andrianañahare; atokilaño mb’amako o ravembia’oo, janjiño o tarokoo.
7 Show your marvelous loving kindness, you who save those who take refuge by your right hand from their enemies.
Aboaho an-kasoa ty fiferenaiña’o, Le rombaho am-pità’o havana amo miatreatreo, o mitsolok’ama’oo.
8 Keep me as the apple of your eye. Hide me under the shadow of your wings,
Faharo iraho hoe te saintem-pihaino’o! aetaho añalon-talinjon-ela’o ao;
9 from the wicked who oppress me, my deadly enemies, who surround me.
ty amo lo-tsereke mamaokeo, o rafelahiko mpañoho-doza miarikoboñe ahikoo.
10 They close up their callous hearts. With their mouth they speak proudly.
Nakiti’ iereo o tro’ iareo vondrakeo; mivola firengevohañe o vava’ iareoo.
11 They have tracked me down; suddenly they surround me. They watch closely, crouching down to the ground.
Fa sinarokoho’ iareo o lia’aio henaneo; nikirofeñe maso hametsake anay an-tane eo;
12 He is like a lion that is greedy of his prey, as it were a young lion lurking in secret places.
Manahake ty liona milelalela t’ie handrimitse, hoe liona tora’e mipiapia añ’etak’ ao,
13 Arise, LORD, confront him. Cast him down. Deliver my soul from the wicked by your sword;
Miongaha, ry Iehovà, atreatréo, goreo ambane! Hahao amo lo-tserekeo ty fiaiko, amy fibara’oy,
14 from men with your hand, LORD, from men of the world, whose portion is in this life. You fill their womb with treasure. They are satisfied with children, and they leave their wealth to their little ones.
am’ondatio—am-pità’o ry Iehovà— am’ ondati’ ty tane toio, fa an-kaveloñe atoy avao ty anjara’e; ie vontsiñe’o amo vara’oo o fisafoa’eo; henek’ anake iereo; vaho ampandova’ iareo an-tiri’ iareo ty nivokara’ iareo.
15 As for me, I shall see your face in righteousness. I shall be satisfied, when I awake, with seeing your form.
Naho izaho, ho treako an-kavañonañe ao ty lahara’o; hifale iraho te tsekake mahatrea ty vinta’o.
