< Psalms 13 >

1 [For the Chief Musician. A Psalm by David.] How long, LORD? Will you forget me forever? How long will you hide your face from me?
Dokle æeš me, Gospode, sasvijem zaboravljati? dokle æeš odvraæati lice svoje od mene?
2 How long shall I take counsel in my soul, having sorrow in my heart every day? How long shall my enemy triumph over me?
Dokle æu se domišljati u duši svojoj, mutiti se u srcu svom dan i noæ? dokle æe se neprijatelj moj podizati nada mnom?
3 Look, and answer me, LORD, my God. Give light to my eyes, lest I sleep in death;
Pogledaj, usliši me, Gospode, Bože moj! Prosvijetli oèi moje da ne zaspim na smrt.
4 Lest my enemy say, "I have prevailed against him," and my adversaries rejoice when I fall.
Da ne reèe neprijatelj moj: nadvladao sam ga; da se ne raduju koji me gone, ako posrnem.
5 But I trust in your loving kindness. My heart rejoices in your salvation.
A ja se uzdam u milost tvoju; radovaæe se srce moje za spasenje tvoje.
6 I will sing to the LORD, because he has dealt bountifully with me, and I will sing to the name of the LORD Most High.
Pjevaæu Gospodu, koji mi dobro èini.
