< Psalms 109 >

1 [For the Chief Musician. A Psalm by David.] God of my praise, do not remain silent,
Kuom jatend wer. Zaburi mar Daudi. Yaye Nyasaye ma apako, kik ilingʼ,
2 for they have opened the mouth of the wicked and the mouth of deceit against me. They have spoken to me with a lying tongue.
nimar joma timbegi richo gi jo-miriambo osemonja gi wechegi; gisewuoyo kuomwa marach, adier gisewacho miriambo kuoma.
3 They have also surrounded me with words of hatred, and fought against me without a cause.
Gilwora koni gi koni gi weche mag achaya; gibuka maonge gima omiyo.
4 In return for my love, they are my adversaries; but I am in prayer.
An aherogi to gin to gimon koda. Gitimona kamano kata obedo ni an to alemonegi.
5 They have rewarded me evil for good, and hatred for my love.
Gichula rach kar ber, kod achaya kar osiep.
6 Set a wicked man over him. Let an adversary stand at his right hand.
Ket ngʼat marach mondo oked kod jasika; we jadonj ne ji mondo ochungʼ kode e bura.
7 When he is judged, let him come forth guilty. Let his prayer be turned into sin.
Kiyale to mi mondo oyude gi ketho, kendo kata lemo molamo onego onyis kethone.
8 Let his days be few. Let another take his office.
Mad ngʼad ndalone dok manok; kendo mad ngʼat machielo kaw tije.
9 Let his children be fatherless, and his wife a widow.
Mad nyithinde dongʼ kiye kendo chiege dongʼ dhako ma chwore otho.
10 Let his children be wandering beggars. Let them be sought from their ruins.
Mad nyithinde lokre jokwecho mabayo abaya; mad riembgi gia koda ka e miechgi mosekethore.
11 Let the creditor seize all that he has. Let strangers plunder the fruit of his labor.
Mad jagope moro mak gige duto ma en-go kendo mad joma welo oyak mwandu duto moseloso.
12 Let there be none to extend kindness to him, neither let there be any to have pity on his fatherless children.
Onego ngʼato kik timne ngʼwono kata kecho nyithinde modongʼ kiye.
13 Let his posterity be cut off. In the generation following let their name be blotted out.
Kothe duto mondo kargi olal nono, kendo nying-gi oruchi kik bedi e tiengʼ mabiro.
14 Let the iniquity of his fathers be remembered by the LORD. Do not let the sin of his mother be blotted out.
Mad Jehova Nyasaye sik kaparo richo mane wuonegi otimo; kendo mad richo min kik ruchi.
15 Let them be before the LORD continually, that he may cut off the memory of them from the earth;
Richogi mondo osiki e nyim Jehova Nyasaye, eka mondo ongʼad kargi oko chuth e piny.
16 because he did not remember to show kindness, but persecuted the poor and needy man, the broken in heart, to kill them.
Nimar kane ongima to ne ok odewo timo ngʼwono, kar timo kamano to nosando jodhier, kaachiel gi joma ochando gi joma chunygi lit; nosandogi malit nyaka ne githo.
17 Yes, he loved cursing, and it came to him. He did not delight in blessing, and it was far from him.
Nohero kwongʼo ji to koro mad kwongʼneno dogne; ne ok ohero gwedho ji omiyo koro mad gweth bed mabor kode.
18 He clothed himself also with cursing as with his garment. It came into his inward parts like water, like oil into his bones.
Ne orwako kwongʼ ka nangane; mad kwongʼno koro donji e dende ka pi, mad gibud chokene ka mo.
19 Let it be to him as the clothing with which he covers himself, for the belt that is always around him.
Mad ochal nanga moumogo dende duto, kata kamba motweyego nyaka chiengʼ.
20 This is the reward of my adversaries from the LORD, of those who speak evil against my soul.
Mano ema mondo obed chudo, ma Jehova Nyasaye chulo joma donjona; mano e kaka onego otim ne joma wuoyo marach kuoma.
21 But deal with me, the LORD the Lord, for your name's sake, because your loving kindness is good, deliver me;
To in, yaye Jehova Nyasaye Manyalo Gik Moko Duto, timna maber nikech nyingi; konya nikech ber mar herani.
22 for I am poor and needy. My heart is wounded within me.
Nimar adhier kendo achando, kendo chunya winjo marach e iya.
23 I fade away like an evening shadow. I am shaken off like a locust.
Ndalona rumo mos mos ka tipo mar odhiambo kendo yamo uka ka det bonyo.
24 My knees are weak through fasting. My body is thin and lacks fat.
Chongena onyosore nikech onge gima acham, kendo adhero alokora choke lilo.
25 I have also become a reproach to them. When they see me, they shake their head.
Alokora gima ijaro ne joma donjona; ka ginena to gitwenyona umgi ka gigoyona siboi.
26 Help me, LORD, my God. Save me according to your loving kindness;
Konya, yaye Jehova Nyasaye Nyasacha, resa kaluwore gi herani.
27 that they may know that this is your hand; that you, LORD, have done it.
Mi mondo gingʼe ni achal kama nikech lweti, mi gingʼe ni lweti ema osetime, yaye Jehova Nyasaye.
28 They may curse, but you bless. When they arise, they will be shamed, but your servant shall rejoice.
Gin ginyalo kwongʼa to angʼeyo ni in ibiro gwedha; ka gimonja to ibiro kuodo wigi, to jatichni to biro bedo mamor.
29 Let my adversaries be clothed with dishonor. Let them cover themselves with their own shame as with a robe.
Wichkuot maduongʼ biro mako joma donjona kendo gibiro rwako wichkuot ka kandho.
30 I will give great thanks to the LORD with my mouth. Yes, I will praise him among the multitude.
Abiro dhialo Jehova Nyasaye malich gi dhoga; abiro pake e dier oganda maduongʼ.
31 For he will stand at the right hand of the needy, to save him from those who judge his soul.
Nimar ochungʼ e bat korachwich mar ngʼat mochando, mondo ores ngimane kuom joma ngʼadone buch tho.
