< Philippians 3 >

1 Finally, my brothers, rejoice in the Lord. To write the same things to you is no trouble to me, and is a safeguard for you.
For the rest, my brethren, rejoice in [the] Lord: to write the same things to you, to me [is] not irksome, and for you safe.
2 Beware of the dogs, beware of the evil workers, beware of the false circumcision.
See to dogs, see to evil workmen, see to the concision.
3 For we are the circumcision, who worship God in the Ruach, and rejoice in Messiah Yeshua, and have no confidence in the flesh;
For we are the circumcision, who worship by [the] Spirit of God, and boast in Christ Jesus, and do not trust in flesh.
4 though I myself might have confidence even in the flesh. If anyone else thinks that he has confidence in the flesh, I yet more:
Though I have [my] trust even in flesh; if any other think to trust in flesh, I rather:
5 circumcised the eighth day, of the nation of Israel, of the tribe of Benjamin, a Hebrew of Hebrews; concerning the law, a Pharisee;
as to circumcision, [I received it] the eighth day; of [the] race of Israel, of [the] tribe of Benjamin, Hebrew of Hebrews; as to [the] law, a Pharisee;
6 concerning zeal, persecuting the congregation; concerning the righteousness which is in the law, found blameless.
as to zeal, persecuting the assembly; as to righteousness which [is] in [the] law, found blameless;
7 However, what things were gain to me, these have I counted loss for Messiah.
but what things were gain to me these I counted, on account of Christ, loss.
8 More than that, I count all things to be a loss compared to the far greater value of knowing Messiah Yeshua, my Lord, for whom I suffered the loss of all things, and count them nothing but refuse, that I may gain Messiah
But surely I count also all things to be loss on account of the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord, on account of whom I have suffered the loss of all, and count them to be filth, that I may gain Christ;
9 and be found in him, not having a righteousness of my own, that which is of the law, but that which is through faith in Messiah, the righteousness which is from God by faith;
and that I may be found in him, not having my righteousness, which [would be] on the principle of law, but that which is by faith of Christ, the righteousness which [is] of God through faith,
10 that I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, becoming conformed to his death;
to know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being conformed to his death,
11 if by any means I may attain to the resurrection from the dead.
if any way I arrive at the resurrection from among [the] dead.
12 Not that I have already obtained, or am already made perfect; but I press on, if it is so that I may take hold of that for which also I was taken hold of by Messiah Yeshua.
Not that I have already obtained [the prize], or am already perfected; but I pursue, if also I may get possession [of it], seeing that also I have been taken possession of by Christ [Jesus].
13 Brothers, I do not regard myself as having taken hold of it, but one thing I do. Forgetting the things which are behind, and reaching forward to the things which are ahead,
Brethren, I do not count to have got possession myself; but one thing — forgetting the things behind, and stretching out to the things before,
14 I press on toward the goal for the prize of the high calling of God in Messiah Yeshua.
I pursue, [looking] towards [the] goal, for the prize of the calling on high of God in Christ Jesus.
15 Let us therefore, as many as are perfect, think this way. If in anything you think otherwise, God will also reveal that to you.
As many therefore as [are] perfect, let us be thus minded; and if ye are any otherwise minded, this also God shall reveal to you.
16 Nevertheless, to what we have attained, let us walk by the same rule, being of the same mind.
But whereto we have attained, [let us] walk in the same steps.
17 Brothers, be imitators together of me, and note those who walk this way, even as you have us for an example.
Be imitators [all] together of me, brethren, and fix your eyes on those walking thus as you have us for a model;
18 For many, of whom I have often told you, and now tell you with tears, live as enemies of the cross of Messiah,
(for many walk of whom I have told you often, and now tell you even weeping, that they [are] the enemies of the cross of Christ:
19 whose end is destruction, whose god is the belly, and whose glory is in their shame, who think about earthly things.
whose end [is] destruction, whose god [is] the belly, and [their] glory in their shame, who mind earthly things: )
20 For our citizenship is in heaven, from which we also eagerly wait for a Savior, the Lord Yeshua the Messiah;
for our commonwealth has its existence in [the] heavens, from which also we await the Lord Jesus Christ [as] Saviour,
21 who will transform our lowly body into the likeness of his glorious body, according to the power by which he is able even to subject all things to himself.
who shall transform our body of humiliation into conformity to his body of glory, according to the working of [the] power which he has even to subdue all things to himself.
