< Matthew 17 >
1 After six days, Yeshua took with him Peter, Jacob, and John his brother, and brought them up into a high mountain by themselves.
Insiku sita pamande u Yesu abhajile wonti nu Petro, nu Yakobo, nu Yohana uholo wakwe, na abhega hadi humwanya yigamba itali bhewo bhene.
2 He was transfigured before them. His face shone like the sun, and his garments became as white as the light.
Ageusiwa whilongolela lyawo isola yakwe yan'gaa hansi isenya, na menda gakwe yaloleshe gagang'aa hansi umwanga.
3 And look, Moses and Elijah appeared to them talking with him.
Enya, pala bhaloleshe u Musa nu Eliya bhayanga nawo.
4 Peter answered, and said to Yeshua, "Lord, it is good for us to be here. If you want, let us make three tents here: one for you, one for Moses, and one for Elijah."
5 While he was still speaking, look, a bright cloud overshadowed them. And look, a voice came out of the cloud, saying, "This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased. Listen to him."
Isala yayangaga, enya ibhengo izelu lyabhabheha inzunda, na enya, yafumile isauti afume humabhengo, iyanga, “Oyo mwanawane uganwe wiganwa nawo. Mwivwi umwene.”
6 When the talmidim heard it, they fell on their faces, and were very afraid.
Abhanafunzi lwabhahevwa ego, bhagwiye shigubama na bhahogope hani.
7 Yeshua came and touched them and said, "Get up, and do not be afraid."
Tena u Yesu ahenza na hubhaguse na yanje, “Woshi wala mugaje ahogope.”
8 And when they lifted up their eyes, they saw no one except Yeshua alone.
Nape bhahinuye isola zyawo humwanya ila sagabhanolile umuntu ila u Yesu mwene.
9 As they were coming down from the mountain, Yeshua commanded them, saying, "Do not tell anyone what you saw, until the Son of Man has risen from the dead."
Na lwabhahihaga mwigamba, u Yesu abhalajizya, ayanga, “Musahafumye infumi zimaono ega hadi umwana wa Adamu lwaizyoha afume whazimu.”
10 The talmidim asked him, saying, "Then why do the scribes say that Elijah must come first?"
Abhanafunzi bhakwe bhamozelezya, bhayanga, “Yenu asimbi bhayanga aje u Eliya ayihenza kwanza?
11 And he answered and said, "Elijah indeed comes, and will restore all things,
U Yesu abhajibu na yanje, “U Eliya ayihenza lyoli na wezye amambo ganti.
12 but I tell you that Elijah has come already, and they did not recognize him, but did to him whatever they wanted to. Even so the Son of Man will also suffer by them."
Ila ihumbawozya amwe, u Eliya ayenzele tayali ila sagabhamenye. Badala yakwe, bhamombeye amambo gabhawhanza abhene. Nesho shesho umwana wa Adamu shanzayembwe katika inyobhe zyawo.”
13 Then the talmidim understood that he spoke to them of John the Immerser.
Epo abhanafunzi bhagundula aje ayanga habari zya Yohana umozi.
14 When they came to the crowd, a man came to him, kneeling down to him, saying,
Lwabhafiha pakasi yempoga ya bhantu, umunt weka amaliye, akhama amafugamo whilongolela lyakwe, na humozye,
15 "Lord, have mercy on my son, for he is epileptic, and suffers severely; for he often falls into the fire, and often into the water.
“Gosi, ukhowoshele umwana wane, kwa sababu aliningwa nayembe hani. Afwatanaje hahinji agwa mmoto au mmenze.
16 So I brought him to your talmidim, and they could not cure him."
Inetile wha bhanafunzi bhaho, ila sagabhawe/i/ye huponye.
17 Yeshua answered, "Faithless and perverse generation. How long will I be with you? How long will I bear with you? Bring him here to me."
U Yesu ajibu ayanga, “Amwe ishizazi shasagashiwheteha na shishinanjishe naikhula pamo namwa hadi ndii? Imbajivwanye namwe hadi ndii? Neti epa huline.”
18 Yeshua rebuked him, the demon went out of him, and the boy was cured from that hour.
U Yesu akhalipiye, na impepo yafumile. Usahala aponwa afume isala yeyela.
19 Then the talmidim came to Yeshua privately, and said, "Why weren't we able to cast it out?"
Tena abhanafunzi bhamaliye u Yesu hu siri na humozelezye, “Yenu sagatawezizye uhudigizye?”
20 So he said to them, "Because of your little faith. For truly I tell you, if you have faith as a grain of mustard seed, you will tell this mountain, 'Move from here to there,' and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you."
U Yesu abhawozya, “Kwa sababu ulweteho lwenyu dodo. Lyoli ihumbawozya, nkesho munzabhe nulweteho hata udodo hansi ipunje yimbeyu yiharadali mubhawezye huliwozye igamba eli, sama afume epa, ubhale hula, nape libhasame na saguhabhabhe na hantu hohonti haha bhashindihane humwenyu.

22 While they were gathering together in Galil, Yeshua said to them, "The Son of Man is about to be delivered up into the hands of men,
Isala zyabhali bado Hugalilaya, u Yesu abhawozya abhanafunzi bhakwe, “Umwana wa Adamu abhabheshwe munyobhe zya bhantu.
23 and they will kill him, and the third day he will be raised up." They were exceedingly sorry.
Na bhanzahugoje, ni siku lya tatu ayizyoha.” Abhanafunzi bhazugumiye hani.
24 When they had come to Kfar-Nahum, those who collected the didrachma coins came to Peter, and said, "Does not your teacher pay the didrachma?"
Nape lwabhafiha Hukapernaumu, abhantu bhabhawonganya ikodi yinusu shekeli bhamalila u Petro na yanje, “Aje umwalimu wenyu alipa ikodi yinusu shekeli?”
25 He said, "Yes." When he came into the house, Yeshua anticipated him, saying, "What do you think, Shim'on? From whom do the kings of the earth receive toll or tribute? From their children, or from strangers?"
Ayanga, “Ee” Ila u Petro lwayinjila mukasi yinyumba, u Yesu ayanga nu Petro kwanza na yanje, “Usebhelelanshi Simoni? Amwene bhense, bhaposhela ikodi au uwushuru afume whananu? Whabhala bhahubhatabhala afume wha bhajenu?
26 And when he said, "From strangers." Yeshua said to him, "Therefore the children are exempt.
Ni sala u Petro lwayangaga, “Afume whajenu” U Yesu amozya esho bhabhatabhalwa bhefiwilwe kati alipe.
27 But, lest we cause them to stumble, go to the lake, cast a hook, and take up the first fish that comes up. When you have opened its mouth, you will find a stater coin. Take that, and give it to them for me and you."
