< Mark 3 >

1 And he entered again into the synagogue, and there was a man there who had his hand withered.
Ngesinye isikhathi uJesu wangena esinagogweni, kukhona lapho indoda elesandla esitshwabheneyo.
2 And They watched him, whether he would heal him on the Sabbath day, that they might accuse him.
Abanye babo babedinga izaba lokubeka uJesu icala, yikho bamlinda ukubona ingabe wayezasilisa ngeSabatha.
3 And he said to the man with the withered hand, "Stand up in the middle."
UJesu wathi endodeni yesandla esitshwabheneyo, “Sukuma ume phambi kwabo bonke.”
4 And he said to them, "Is it lawful on the Sabbath day to do good, or to do harm? To save a life, or to kill?" But they were silent.
UJesu wasebabuza wathi, “Kuyini okusemthethweni ngeSabatha; ukwenza okuhle loba ukwenza okubi, ukusindisa impilo kumbe ukubulala?” Kodwa bathula zwi.
5 And when he had looked around at them with anger, being grieved at the hardening of their hearts, he said to the man, "Stretch out your hand." He stretched it out, and his hand was restored.
Wabakhangela ngolaka, ehlutshwa yibuqholo bezinhliziyo zabo, wasesithi kuleyondoda, “Yelula isandla sakho.” Yaselula, isandla sesilunge saphelela.
6 And the Pharisees went out, and immediately conspired with the Herodians against him, how they might destroy him.
AbaFarisi basebephuma bayacebisana lamaHerodiya ukuthi bangambulala njani uJesu.
7 And Yeshua withdrew to the lake with his disciples, and a large crowd followed from Galil, and from Judea,
UJesu wasuka labafundi bakhe baya ngasechibini, ixuku elikhulu labalandela lisuka eGalile.
8 and from Jerusalem, and from Idumea, and beyond the Jordan, and those from around Tyre and Sidon. A large crowd, when they heard what great things he did, came to him.
Bathi ngokuzwa konke ayekwenza abantu abanengi beza kuye besuka eJudiya, eJerusalema, e-Idumiya lemimangweni engaphetsheya kweJodani lezindaweni zeThire leSidoni.
9 And he told his disciples that a small boat should stay near him because of the crowd, so that they would not press on him.
Ngenxa yobunengi babantu watshela abafundi bakhe ukuba bamlungisele isikepe esincane ukuze angaminyezelwa ngabantu.
10 For he had healed many, so that as many as had diseases pressed on him that they might touch him.
Phela wayesesilise abanengi, yikho labo ababelezifo babeminyezela befuna ukumthinta.
11 And the unclean spirits, whenever they saw him, fell down before him, and shouted, saying, "You are the Son of God."
Kwakusithi imimoya emibi ingambona iguqe phambi kwakhe imemeze ithi, “UyiNdodana kaNkulunkulu.”
12 And he sternly warned them that they should not make him known.
Kodwa wayiqonqosela ukuthi ingaze yakhuluma ukuthi ungubani.
13 And he went up into the mountain, and called to himself those whom he wanted, and they went to him.
UJesu wakhwela waya ewatheni lwentaba wabiza labo ayebafuna, beza kuye.
14 And he appointed twelve, that they might be with him, and that he might send them out to preach,
Wakhetha abalitshumi lambili ukuthi babelaye ukuze abathume ukuyatshumayela
15 to have authority to heal sicknesses and to cast out demons.
lokuthi babelamandla okuxotsha amadimoni.
16 And he appointed the twelve. And to Shim'on he gave the name Peter;
Yilaba abalitshumi lambili abakhethayo: uSimoni (ametha ibizo wathi nguPhethro),
17 and Jacob the son of Zavdai; and John the brother of Jacob (and he gave them the names Boanerges, which is to say, Sons of Thunder);
uJakhobe indodana kaZebhediya lomfowabo uJohane (laba wabetha ibizo wathi bango Bhowanegesi, okutsho ukuthi Amadodana Omdumo),
18 and Andrew, and Philip, and Bartholomew, and Matthew, and Thomas, and Jacob the son of Halfai, and Thaddaeus, and Shim'on the Zealot;
u-Andreya, uFiliphu, uBhatholomewu, uMatewu, uThomasi, uJakhobe indodana ka-Alifewu, uThediyasi, uSimoni umZilothi
19 and Judah the Iskriot, who also betrayed him.
loJudasi Iskariyothi onguye owamnikelayo.
20 And he came into a house, and the crowd came together again, so that they could not so much as eat bread.
UJesu wangena kwenye indlu kwaphinda njalo kwabuthana kuye ixuku, yena labafundi bakhe baze behluleka ukudla.
21 And when his family heard it, they went out to take charge of him: for they said, "He is out of his mind."
Kwathi abendlu yangakwabo bekuzwa lokho bamlanda ukuyambuyisa ngoba bathi, “usephambene.”
22 And the scribes who came down from Jerusalem said, "He has Beelzebul," and, "By the prince of the demons he casts out the demons."
Kwathi abafundi bomthetho abehla bevela eJerusalema bathi, “Ungenwe nguBhelizebhubhi! Ukhupha amadimoni ngenkosi yamadimoni.”
23 And so he summoned them, and said to them in parables, "How can Satan cast out Satan?
Ngakho uJesu wasebabiza wakhuluma labo ngemizekeliso wathi, “Kambe uSathane angamkhupha kanjani uSathane?
24 And if a kingdom is divided against itself, that kingdom cannot stand.
Nxa umbuso udabuke phakathi, uvukelana, lowombuso ngeke ume.
25 And if a house is divided against itself, that house will not be able to stand.
Nxa indlu ingabambananga, ivukelana, leyondlu ngeke ime.
26 And if Satan has risen up against himself, and is divided, he will not be able to stand, but has an end.
Njalo nxa uSathane eziphikisa, edabuke phakathi, ngeke ame; useyatshabalala.
27 But no one can enter into the house of the strong man to plunder, unless he first binds the strong man; and then he will plunder his house.
Ngempela, akakho ongangena endlini yesiqhwaga, abuthe impahla zaso ngaphandle kokuthi aqale asibophe lesosiqhwaga, andubana aphange indlu yaso.
28 Truly I tell you, all human sins will be forgiven, including their blasphemies with which they may blaspheme;
Ngeqiniso ngithi kini, abantu bazakuthethelelwa zonke izono lokuhlambaza kwabo,
29 but whoever may blaspheme against the Ruach ha-Kodesh never has forgiveness, but is guilty of an everlasting sin"— (aiōn g165, aiōnios g166)
kodwa loba ngubani othuka uMoya oNgcwele akayikuthethelelwa; ulecala lesono saphakade.” (aiōn g165, aiōnios g166)
30 because they said, "He has an unclean spirit."
Wakutsho lokhu ngoba babesithi, “Ulomoya omubi.”
31 And then his mother and his brothers came, and standing outside, they sent to him, calling him.
Kwasekufika unina kaJesu labafowabo. Bema phandle bathuma omunye umuntu ukuyambiza.
32 And a crowd was sitting around him, and they told him, "Look, your mother and your brothers are outside looking for you."
Abantu abanengi babehlezi bemhanqile, basebemtshela bathi, “Unyoko labafowenu baphandle bayakudinga.”
33 And he answered them, saying, "Who are my mother and my brothers?"
Wabuza wathi, “Ngobani abangumama labafowethu na?”
34 And looking around at those who sat around him, he said, "Look, my mother and my brothers.
Wasekhangela labo ababehlezi laye bemhanqile wathi, “Nampa abangumama labangabafowethu!
35 For whoever does the will of God, the same is my brother, and my sister, and mother."
Loba ngubani owenza intando kaNkulunkulu ungumfowethu, ungudadewethu njalo ngumama.”
