Luke 11
1 It happened, that when he finished praying in a certain place, one of his talmidim said to him, "Lord, teach us to pray, just as John also taught his talmidim."
イエス或 處にて祈り居給ひしが、その終りしとき、弟子の一人いふ『主よ、ヨハネの其の弟子に教へし如く、祈ることを我らに教へ給へ』
2 So he said to them, "When you pray, say, 'Our Father in heaven, holy be your name. May your kingdom come. May your will be done on earth, as it is in heaven.
イエス言ひ給ふ『なんぢら祈るときに斯く言へ「父よ、願はくは御名の崇められん事を。御國の來らん事を。
3 Give us day by day our daily bread.
我らの日用の糧を日毎に與へ給へ。
4 And forgive us our sins, for we also forgive everyone indebted to us. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.'"
我らに負債ある凡ての者を我ら免せば、我らの罪をも免し給へ。我らを嘗試にあはせ給ふな」』
5 He said to them, "Which of you, if you go to a friend at midnight, and tell him, 'Friend, lend me three loaves of bread,
また言ひ給ふ『なんぢらの中たれか友あらんに、夜半にその許に往きて「友よ、我に三つのパンを貸せ。
6 for a friend of mine has come to me from a journey, and I have nothing to set before him,'
わが友、旅より來りしに、之に供ふべき物なし」と言ふ時、
7 and he from within will answer and say, 'Do not bother me. The door is now shut, and my children are with me in bed. I cannot get up and give it to you'?
かれ内より答へて「われを煩はすな、戸ははや閉ぢ、子らは我と共に臥所にあり、起ちて與へ難し」といふ事ありとも、
8 I tell you, although he will not rise and give it to him because he is his friend, yet because of his persistence, he will get up and give him as many as he needs.
われ汝らに告ぐ、友なるによりては起ちて與へねど、求の切なるにより、起きて其の要する程のものを與へん。
9 "I tell you, ask, and it will be given to you. Seek, and you will find. Knock, and it will be opened to you.
われ汝らに告ぐ、求めよ、さらば與へられん。尋ねよ、さらば見出さん。門を叩け、さらば開かれん。
10 For everyone who asks receives. He who seeks finds. To him who knocks it will be opened.
すべて求むる者は得、尋ぬる者は見出し、門を叩く者は開かるるなり。
11 "Which of you fathers, if your son asks for a fish, he won't give him a snake instead of a fish, will he?
汝 等のうち父たる者、たれか其の子 魚を求めんに、魚の代に蛇を與へ、
12 Or if he asks for an egg, will give him a scorpion?
卵を求めんに蠍を與へんや。
13 If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give the Ruach ha-Kodesh to those who ask him?"
さらば汝ら惡しき者ながら、善き賜物をその子らに與ふるを知る。まして天の父は、求むる者に聖 靈を賜はざらんや』
14 He was casting out a demon, and it was mute. It happened, when the demon had gone out, the mute man spoke; and the crowds were amazed.
さてイエス唖の惡鬼を逐ひいだし給へば、惡鬼いでて唖もの言ひしにより、群衆あやしめり。
15 But some of them said, "He casts out demons by Beelzebul, the prince of the demons."
其の中の或 者ども言ふ『かれは惡鬼の首ベルゼブルによりて惡鬼を逐ひ出すなり』
16 Others, testing him, sought from him a sign from heaven.
また或 者どもは、イエスを試みんとて天よりの徴を求む。
17 But he, knowing their thoughts, said to them, "Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation. A house divided against itself falls.
イエスその思を知りて言ひ給ふ『すべて分れ爭ふ國は亡び、分れ爭ふ家は倒る。
18 If Satan also is divided against himself, how will his kingdom stand? For you say that I cast out demons by Beelzebul.
サタンもし分れ爭はば、その國いかで立つべき。汝 等わが惡鬼を逐ひ出すを、ベルゼブルに由ると言へばなり。
19 But if I cast out demons by Beelzebul, by whom do your children cast them out? Therefore will they be your judges.
我もしベルゼブルによりて惡鬼を逐ひ出さば、汝らの子は誰によりて之を逐ひ出すか。この故に彼らは汝らの審判 人となるべし。
20 But if I by the finger of God cast out demons, then the Kingdom of God has come to you.
されど我もし神の指によりて惡鬼を逐ひ出さば、神の國は既に汝らに到れるなり。
21 "When the strong man, fully armed, guards his own dwelling, his goods are safe.
強きもの武具をよろひて己が屋敷を守るときは、其の所有 安全なり。
22 But when someone stronger attacks him and overcomes him, he takes from him his whole armor in which he trusted, and divides up his plunder.
されど更に強きもの來りて之に勝つときは、恃とする武具をことごとく奪ひて、分捕物を分たん。
23 "He that is not with me is against me. He who does not gather with me scatters.
我と偕ならぬ者は我にそむき、我と共に集めぬ者は散すなり。
24 The unclean spirit, when he has gone out of the person, passes through dry places, seeking rest, and finding none, he says, 'I will turn back to my house from which I came out.'
穢れし靈、人を出づる時は、水なき處を巡りて休を求む。されど得ずして言ふ「わが出でし家に歸らん」
25 When he returns, he finds it swept and put in order.
歸りて其の家の掃き淨められ、飾られたるを見、
26 Then he goes, and takes seven other spirits more evil than himself, and they enter in and dwell there. The last state of that person becomes worse than the first."
遂に往きて己よりも惡しき他の七つの靈を連れきたり、共に入りて此處に住む。さればその人の後の状は、前よりも惡しくなるなり』
27 It came to pass, as he said these things, a certain woman out of the crowd lifted up her voice, and said to him, "Blessed is the womb that bore you, and the breasts which nursed you."
此 等のことを言ひ給ふとき、群衆の中より或 女、聲をあげて言ふ『幸福なるかな、汝を宿しし胎、なんぢの哺ひし乳房は』
28 But he said, "On the contrary, blessed are those who hear the word of God, and keep it."
イエス言ひたまふ『更に幸福なるかな、神の言を聽きて之を守る人は』
29 When the crowds were gathering together to him, he began to say, "This generation is an evil generation. It seeks after a sign. No sign will be given to it but the sign of Jonah.
群衆おし集れる時、イエス言ひ出でたまふ『今の世は邪曲なる代にして徴を求む。されどヨナの徴のほかに徴は與へられじ。
30 For even as Jonah became a sign to the Ninevites, so will also the Son of Man be to this generation.
ヨナがニネベの人に徴となりし如く、人の子もまた今の代に然らん。
31 The Queen of the South will rise up in the judgment with the people of this generation, and will condemn them: for she came from a distant land to hear the wisdom of Solomon; and look, one greater than Solomon is here.
南の女王、審判のとき、今の代の人と共に起きて之が罪を定めん。彼はソロモンの智慧を聽かんとて地の極より來れり。視よ、ソロモンよりも勝るもの此處にあり。
32 The people of Nineveh will stand up in the judgment with this generation, and will condemn it: for they repented at the proclaiming of Jonah, and look, one greater than Jonah is here.
ニネベの人、審判のとき、今の代の人と共に立ちて之が罪を定めん。彼らはヨナの宣ぶる言によりて悔改めたり。視よ、ヨナよりも勝るもの此處に在り。
33 "No one, when he has lit a lamp, puts it in a cellar or under a basket, but on a stand, that those who come in may see the light.
誰も燈火をともして、穴藏の中または升の下におく者なし。入り來る者の光を見んために、燈臺の上に置くなり。
34 The lamp of the body is the eye. Therefore when your eye is good, your whole body is also full of light; but when it is bad, your body also is full of darkness.
汝の身の燈火は目なり、汝の目 正しき時は、全身 明るからん。されど惡しき時は、身もまた暗からん。
35 Therefore see whether the light that is in you is not darkness.
この故に汝の内の光、闇にはあらぬか、省みよ。
36 If therefore your whole body is full of light, having no part dark, it will be wholly full of light, as when the lamp with its bright shining gives you light."
もし汝の全身 明るくして暗き所なくば、輝ける燈火に照さるる如く、その身 全く明るからん』
37 Now as he spoke, a Pharisee asked him to dine with him. He went in, and sat at the table.
イエスの語り給へるとき、或パリサイ人その家にて食事し給はん事を請ひたれば、入りて席に著きたまふ。
38 When the Pharisee saw it, he was surprised that he had not first washed himself before dinner.
食事 前に手を洗ひ給はぬを、此のパリサイ人 見て怪しみたれば、
39 The Lord said to him, "Now you Pharisees cleanse the outside of the cup and of the platter, but your inward part is full of extortion and wickedness.
主これに言ひたまふ『今や汝らパリサイ人は、酒杯と盆との外を潔くす、されど汝らの内は貪慾と惡とにて滿つるなり。
40 You foolish ones, did not he who made the outside make the inside also?
愚なる者よ、外を造りし者は、内をも造りしならずや。
41 But give as tzedakah those things which are within, and see, all things will be clean to you.
唯その内にある物を施せ。さらば一切の物なんぢらの爲に潔くなるなり。
42 But woe to you Pharisees. For you tithe mint and rue and every herb, but you bypass justice and the love of God. You ought to have done these, and not to have left the other undone.
禍害なるかな、パリサイ人よ、汝らは薄荷・芸香その他あらゆる野菜の十分の一を納めて、公平と神に對する愛とを等閑にす、されど之は行ふべきものなり。而して彼もまた等閑にすべきものならず。
43 Woe to you Pharisees. For you love the best seats in the synagogues, and the greetings in the marketplaces.
禍害なるかな、パリサイ人よ、汝らは會堂の上座、市場にての敬禮を喜ぶ。
44 Woe to you. For you are like hidden graves, and the people who walk over them do not know it."
禍害なるかな、汝らは露れぬ墓のごとし。其の上を歩む人これを知らぬなり』
45 One of the Law scholars answered him, "Teacher, in saying this you insult us also."
教法師の一人、答へて言ふ『師よ、斯かることを言ふは、我らをも辱しむるなり』
46 He said, "Woe to you Law scholars also. For you load people with burdens that are difficult to carry, and you yourselves won't even lift one finger to help carry those burdens.
イエス言ひ給ふ『なんぢら教法師も禍害なる哉。なんぢら擔ひ難き荷を人に負せて、自ら指 一つだに其の荷につけぬなり。
47 Woe to you. For you build the tombs of the prophets, and your fathers killed them.
禍害なるかな、汝らは預言者たちの墓を建つ、之を殺しし者は汝らの先祖なり。
48 So you are witnesses and consent to the works of your fathers. For they killed them, and you build their tombs.
げに汝らは先祖の所作を可しとする證人ぞ。それは彼らは之を殺し、汝らは其の墓を建つればなり。
49 Therefore also the wisdom of God said, 'I will send to them prophets and emissaries; and some of them they will kill and persecute,
この故に神の智慧いへる言あり、われ預言者と使徒とを彼らに遣さんに、その中の或 者を殺し、また逐ひ苦しめん。
50 that the blood of all the prophets, which was shed from the foundation of the world, may be required of this generation;
世の創より流されたる凡ての預言者の血、
51 from the blood of Hevel to the blood of Zechariah, who perished between the altar and the sanctuary.' Yes, I tell you, it will be required of this generation.
即ちアベルの血より、祭壇と聖所との間にて殺されたるザカリヤの血に至るまでを、今の代に糺すべきなり。然り、われ汝らに告ぐ、今の代は糺さるべし。
52 Woe to you Law scholars. For you took away the key of knowledge. You did not enter in yourselves, and those who were entering in, you hindered."
禍害なるかな教法師よ、なんぢらは知識の鍵を取り去りて自ら入らず、入らんとする人をも止めしなり』
53 And when he left there, the scribes and the Pharisees began to oppose him bitterly, and to provoke him to speak about many things;
此處より出で給へば、學者・パリサイ人ら烈しく詰め寄せて、樣々のことを詰りはじめ、
54 lying in wait for him, seeking to catch him in something he might say, that they might accuse him.
その口より何事をか捉へんと待構へたり。
