Yochanan 4
1 Therefore when Yeshua knew that the Pharisees had heard, "Yeshua is making and immersing more talmidim than John"
ཡཱིཤུཿ སྭཡཾ ནཱམཛྫཡཏ྄ ཀེཝལཾ ཏསྱ ཤིཥྱཱ ཨམཛྫཡཏ྄ ཀིནྟུ ཡོཧནོ྅དྷིཀཤིཥྱཱན྄ ས ཀརོཏི མཛྫཡཏི ཙ,
2 (although Yeshua himself did not immerse, but his talmidim),
ཕིརཱུཤིན ཨིམཱཾ ཝཱརྟྟཱམཤྲྀཎྭན྄ ཨིཏི པྲབྷུརཝགཏྱ
3 he left Judea, and departed again into Galil.
ཡིཧཱུདཱིཡདེཤཾ ཝིཧཱཡ པུན རྒཱལཱིལམ྄ ཨཱགཏ྄།
4 He needed to pass through Samaria.
ཏཏཿ ཤོམིརོཎཔྲདེཤསྱ མདྱེན ཏེན གནྟཝྱེ སཏི
5 So he came to a city of Samaria, called Sychar, near the parcel of ground that Jacob gave to his son, Joseph.
ཡཱཀཱུབ྄ ནིཛཔུཏྲཱཡ ཡཱུཥཕེ ཡཱཾ བྷཱུམིམ྄ ཨདདཱཏ྄ ཏཏྶམཱིཔསྠཱཡི ཤོམིརོཎཔྲདེཤསྱ སུཁཱར྄ ནཱམྣཱ ཝིཁྱཱཏསྱ ནགརསྱ སནྣིདྷཱཝུཔཱསྠཱཏ྄།
6 Jacob's well was there. Yeshua therefore, being tired from his journey, sat down by the well. It was about the sixth hour.
ཏཏྲ ཡཱཀཱུབཿ པྲཧིརཱསཱིཏ྄; ཏདཱ དྭིཏཱིཡཡཱམཝེལཱཡཱཾ ཛཱཏཱཡཱཾ ས མཱརྒེ ཤྲམཱཔནྣསྟསྱ པྲཧེཿ པཱརྴྭེ ཨུཔཱཝིཤཏ྄།
7 A woman of Samaria came to draw water. Yeshua said to her, "Give me a drink."
ཨེཏརྷི ཀཱཙིཏ྄ ཤོམིརོཎཱིཡཱ ཡོཥིཏ྄ ཏོཡོཏྟོལནཱརྠམ྄ ཏཏྲཱགམཏ྄
8 For his talmidim had gone away into the city to buy food.
ཏདཱ ཤིཥྱཱཿ ཁཱདྱདྲཝྱཱཎི ཀྲེཏུཾ ནགརམ྄ ཨགཙྪན྄།
9 The Samaritan woman therefore said to him, "How can you, being a Jew, ask for a drink from me, a Samaritan woman?" (For Jews have no dealings with Samaritans.)
ཡཱིཤུཿ ཤོམིརོཎཱིཡཱཾ ཏཱཾ ཡོཥིཏམ྄ ཝྱཱཧཱརྵཱིཏ྄ མཧྱཾ ཀིཉྩིཏ྄ པཱནཱིཡཾ པཱཏུཾ དེཧི། ཀིནྟུ ཤོམིརོཎཱིཡཻཿ སཱཀཾ ཡིཧཱུདཱིཡལོཀཱ ན ཝྱཝཱཧརན྄ ཏསྨཱདྡྷེཏོཿ སཱཀཐཡཏ྄ ཤོམིརོཎཱིཡཱ ཡོཥིཏདཧཾ ཏྭཾ ཡིཧཱུདཱིཡོསི ཀཐཾ མཏྟཿ པཱནཱིཡཾ པཱཏུམ྄ ཨིཙྪསི?
10 Yeshua answered her, "If you knew the gift of God, and who it is who says to you, 'Give me a drink,' you would have asked him, and he would have given you living water."
ཏཏོ ཡཱིཤུརཝདད྄ ཨཱིཤྭརསྱ ཡདྡཱནཾ ཏཏྐཱིདྲྀཀ྄ པཱནཱིཡཾ པཱཏུཾ མཧྱཾ དེཧི ཡ ཨིཏྠཾ ཏྭཱཾ ཡཱཙཏེ ས ཝཱ ཀ ཨིཏི ཙེདཛྙཱསྱཐཱསྟརྷི ཏམཡཱཙིཥྱཐཱཿ ས ཙ ཏུབྷྱམམྲྀཏཾ ཏོཡམདཱསྱཏ྄།
11 The woman said to him, "Sir, you have nothing to draw with, and the well is deep. From where do you get that living water?
ཏདཱ སཱ སཱིམནྟིནཱི བྷཱཥིཏཝཏི, ཧེ མཧེཙྪ པྲཧིརྒམྦྷཱིརོ བྷཝཏོ ནཱིརོཏྟོལནཔཱཏྲཾ ནཱསྟཱི ཙ ཏསྨཱཏ྄ ཏདམྲྀཏཾ ཀཱིལཱལཾ ཀུཏཿ པྲཱཔྶྱསི?
12 Are you greater than our father, Jacob, who gave us the well, and drank of it himself, as did his children, and his livestock?"
ཡོསྨབྷྱམ྄ ཨིམམནྡྷཱུཾ དདཽ, ཡསྱ ཙ པརིཛནཱ གོམེཥཱདཡཤྩ སཪྻྭེ྅སྱ པྲཧེཿ པཱནཱིཡཾ པཔུརེཏཱདྲྀཤོ ཡོསྨཱཀཾ པཱུཪྻྭཔུརུཥོ ཡཱཀཱུབ྄ ཏསྨཱདཔི བྷཝཱན྄ མཧཱན྄ ཀིཾ?
13 Yeshua answered her, "Everyone who drinks of this water will thirst again,
ཏཏོ ཡཱིཤུརཀཐཡད྄ ཨིདཾ པཱནཱིཡཾ སཿ པིཝཏི ས པུནསྟྲྀཥཱརྟྟོ བྷཝིཥྱཏི,
15 The woman said to him, "Sir, give me this water, so that I do not get thirsty, neither come all the way here to draw."
ཏདཱ སཱ ཝནིཏཱཀཐཡཏ྄ ཧེ མཧེཙྪ ཏརྷི མམ པུནཿ པཱིཔཱསཱ ཡཐཱ ན ཛཱཡཏེ ཏོཡོཏྟོལནཱཡ ཡཐཱཏྲཱགམནཾ ན བྷཝཏི ཙ ཏདརྠཾ མཧྱཾ ཏཏྟོཡཾ དེཧཱི།
16 He said to her, "Go, call your husband, and come here."
ཏཏོ ཡཱིཤཱུརཝདདྱཱཧི ཏཝ པཏིམཱཧཱུཡ སྠཱནེ྅ཏྲཱགཙྪ།
17 The woman answered and said to him, "I have no husband." Yeshua said to her, "You said well, 'I have no husband,'
སཱ ཝཱམཱཝདཏ྄ མམ པཏིརྣཱསྟི། ཡཱིཤུརཝདཏ྄ མམ པཏིརྣཱསྟཱིཏི ཝཱཀྱཾ བྷདྲམཝོཙཿ།
18 for you have had five husbands; and he whom you now have is not your husband. This you have said truly."
ཡཏསྟཝ པཉྩ པཏཡོབྷཝན྄ ཨདྷུནཱ ཏུ ཏྭཡཱ སཱརྡྡྷཾ ཡསྟིཥྛཏི ས ཏཝ བྷརྟྟཱ ན ཝཱཀྱམིདཾ སཏྱམཝཱདིཿ།
19 The woman said to him, "Sir, I perceive that you are a prophet.
ཏདཱ སཱ མཧིལཱ གདིཏཝཏི ཧེ མཧེཙྪ བྷཝཱན྄ ཨེཀོ བྷཝིཥྱདྭཱདཱིཏི བུདྡྷཾ མཡཱ།
20 Our fathers worshiped in this mountain, and you say that in Jerusalem is the place where people ought to worship."
ཨསྨཱཀཾ པིཏྲྀལོཀཱ ཨེཏསྨིན྄ ཤིལོཙྩཡེ྅བྷཛནྟ, ཀིནྟུ བྷཝདྦྷིརུཙྱཏེ ཡིརཱུཤཱལམ྄ ནགརེ བྷཛནཡོགྱཾ སྠཱནམཱསྟེ།
21 Yeshua said to her, "Woman, believe me, the hour comes, when neither in this mountain, nor in Jerusalem, will you worship the Father.
ཡཱིཤུརཝོཙཏ྄ ཧེ ཡོཥིཏ྄ མམ ཝཱཀྱེ ཝིཤྭསིཧི ཡདཱ ཡཱུཡཾ ཀེཝལཤཻལེ྅སྨིན྄ ཝཱ ཡིརཱུཤཱལམ྄ ནགརེ པིཏུརྦྷཛནཾ ན ཀརིཥྱདྷྭེ ཀཱལ ཨེཏཱདྲྀཤ ཨཱཡཱཏི།
22 You worship that which you do not know. We worship that which we know; for salvation is from the Jews.
ཡཱུཡཾ ཡཾ བྷཛདྷྭེ ཏཾ ན ཛཱནཱིཐ, ཀིནྟུ ཝཡཾ ཡཾ བྷཛཱམཧེ ཏཾ ཛཱནཱིམཧེ, ཡཏོ ཡིཧཱུདཱིཡལོཀཱནཱཾ མདྷྱཱཏ྄ པརིཏྲཱཎཾ ཛཱཡཏེ།
23 But the hour comes, and now is, when the true worshippers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for the Father seeks such to be his worshippers.
ཀིནྟུ ཡདཱ སཏྱབྷཀྟཱ ཨཱཏྨནཱ སཏྱརཱུཔེཎ ཙ པིཏུརྦྷཛནཾ ཀརིཥྱནྟེ སམཡ ཨེཏཱདྲྀཤ ཨཱཡཱཏི, ཝརམ྄ ཨིདཱནཱིམཔི ཝིདྱཏེ; ཡཏ ཨེཏཱདྲྀཤོ བྷཏྐཱན྄ པིཏཱ ཙེཥྚཏེ།
24 God is spirit, and those who worship him must worship in spirit and truth."
ཨཱིཤྭར ཨཱཏྨཱ; ཏཏསྟསྱ ཡེ བྷཀྟཱསྟཻཿ ས ཨཱཏྨནཱ སཏྱརཱུཔེཎ ཙ བྷཛནཱིཡཿ།
25 The woman said to him, "I know that Messiah comes," (he who is called Anointed One). "When he has come, he will declare to us all things."
ཏདཱ སཱ མཧིལཱཝཱདཱིཏ྄ ཁྲཱིཥྚནཱམྣཱ ཝིཁྱཱཏོ྅བྷིཥིཀྟཿ པུརུཥ ཨཱགམིཥྱཏཱིཏི ཛཱནཱམི ས ཙ སཪྻྭཱཿ ཀཐཱ ཨསྨཱན྄ ཛྙཱཔཡིཥྱཏི།
26 Yeshua said to her, "I am he, the one who speaks to you."
ཏཏོ ཡཱིཤུརཝདཏ྄ ཏྭཡཱ སཱརྡྡྷཾ ཀཐནཾ ཀརོམི ཡོ྅ཧམ྄ ཨཧམེཝ ས པུརུཥཿ།
27 At this, his talmidim came. They were surprised that he was speaking with a woman; yet no one said, "What are you looking for?" or, "Why do you speak with her?"
ཨེཏསྨིན྄ སམཡེ ཤིཥྱཱ ཨཱགཏྱ ཏཐཱ སྟྲིཡཱ སཱརྡྡྷཾ ཏསྱ ཀཐོཔཀཐནེ མཧཱཤྩཪྻྱམ྄ ཨམནྱནྟ ཏཐཱཔི བྷཝཱན྄ ཀིམིཙྪཏི? ཡདྭཱ ཀིམརྠམ྄ ཨེཏཡཱ སཱརྡྡྷཾ ཀཐཱཾ ཀཐཡཏི? ཨིཏི ཀོཔི ནཱཔྲྀཙྪཏ྄།
28 So the woman left her water pot, and went away into the city, and said to the people,
ཏཏཿ པརཾ སཱ ནཱརཱི ཀལཤཾ སྠཱཔཡིཏྭཱ ནགརམདྷྱཾ གཏྭཱ ལོཀེབྷྱོཀཐཱཡད྄
29 "Come, see a man who told me everything that I did. Can this be the Messiah?"
ཨཧཾ ཡདྱཏ྄ ཀརྨྨཱཀརཝཾ ཏཏྶཪྻྭཾ མཧྱམཀཐཡད྄ ཨེཏཱདྲྀཤཾ མཱནཝམེཀམ྄ ཨཱགཏྱ པཤྱཏ རུ ཀིམ྄ ཨབྷིཥིཀྟོ ན བྷཝཏི?
30 They went out of the city, and were coming to him.
ཏཏསྟེ ནགརཱད྄ བཧིརཱགཏྱ ཏཱཏསྱ སམཱིཔམ྄ ཨཱཡན྄།
31 In the meanwhile, the talmidim urged him, saying, "Rabbi, eat."
ཨེཏརྷི ཤིཥྱཱཿ སཱདྷཡིཏྭཱ ཏཾ ཝྱཱཧཱརྵུཿ ཧེ གུརོ བྷཝཱན྄ ཀིཉྩིད྄ བྷཱུཀྟཱཾ།
32 But he said to them, "I have food to eat that you do not know about."
ཏཏཿ སོཝདད྄ ཡུཥྨཱབྷིཪྻནྣ ཛྙཱཡཏེ ཏཱདྲྀཤཾ བྷཀྵྱཾ མམཱསྟེ།
33 The talmidim therefore said one to another, "Has anyone brought him something to eat?"
ཏདཱ ཤིཥྱཱཿ པརསྤརཾ པྲཥྚུམ྄ ཨཱརམྦྷནྟ, ཀིམསྨཻ ཀོཔི ཀིམཔི བྷཀྵྱམཱནཱིཡ དཏྟཝཱན྄?
34 Yeshua said to them, "My food is to do the will of him who sent me, and to accomplish his work.
ཡཱིཤུརཝོཙཏ྄ མཏྤྲེརཀསྱཱབྷིམཏཱནུརཱུཔཀརཎཾ ཏསྱཻཝ ཀརྨྨསིདྡྷིཀཱརཎཉྩ མམ བྷཀྵྱཾ།
35 Do you not say, 'There are yet four months until the harvest?' Look, I tell you, lift up your eyes and see the fields, that they are white for harvest already.
མཱསཙཏུཥྚཡེ ཛཱཏེ ཤསྱཀརྟྟནསམཡོ བྷཝིཥྱཏཱིཏི ཝཱཀྱཾ ཡུཥྨཱབྷིཿ ཀིཾ ནོདྱཏེ? ཀིནྟྭཧཾ ཝདཱམི, ཤིར ཨུཏྟོལྱ ཀྵེཏྲཱཎི པྲཏི ནིརཱིཀྵྱ པཤྱཏ, ཨིདཱནཱིཾ ཀརྟྟནཡོགྱཱནི ཤུཀླཝརྞཱནྱབྷཝན྄།
36 He who reaps receives wages, and gathers fruit to everlasting life; that both he who sows and he who reaps may rejoice together. (aiōnios g166)
ཡཤྪིནཏྟི ས ཝེཏནཾ ལབྷཏེ ཨནནྟཱཡུཿསྭརཱུཔཾ ཤསྱཾ ས གྲྀཧླཱཏི ཙ, ཏེནཻཝ ཝཔྟཱ ཚེཏྟཱ ཙ ཡུགཔད྄ ཨཱནནྡཏཿ། (aiōnios g166)
37 For in this the saying is true, 'One sows, and another reaps.'
ཨིཏྠཾ སཏི ཝཔཏྱེཀཤྪིནཏྱནྱ ཨིཏི ཝཙནཾ སིདྡྷྱཏི།
38 I sent you to reap that for which you have not labored. Others have labored, and you have entered into their labor."
ཡཏྲ ཡཱུཡཾ ན པཪྻྱཤྲཱམྱཏ ཏཱདྲྀཤཾ ཤསྱཾ ཚེཏྟུཾ ཡུཥྨཱན྄ པྲཻརཡམ྄ ཨནྱེ ཛནཱཿཔཪྻྱཤྲཱམྱན྄ ཡཱུཡཾ ཏེཥཱཾ ཤྲགསྱ ཕལམ྄ ཨལབྷདྷྭམ྄།
39 From that city many of the Samaritans believed in him because of the word of the woman, who testified, "He told me everything that I did."
ཡསྨིན྄ ཀཱལེ ཡདྱཏ྄ ཀརྨྨཱཀཱརྵཾ ཏཏྶཪྻྭཾ ས མཧྱམ྄ ཨཀཐཡཏ྄ ཏསྱཱ ཝནིཏཱཡཱ ཨིདཾ སཱཀྵྱཝཱཀྱཾ ཤྲུཏྭཱ ཏནྣགརནིཝཱསིནོ བཧཝཿ ཤོམིརོཎཱིཡལོཀཱ ཝྱཤྭསན྄།
40 So when the Samaritans came to him, they asked him to stay with them. He stayed there two days.
ཏཐཱ ཙ ཏསྱཱནྟིཀེ སམུཔསྠཱཡ སྭེཥཱཾ སནྣིདྷཽ ཀཏིཙིད྄ དིནཱནི སྠཱཏུཾ ཏསྨིན྄ ཝིནཡམ྄ ཨཀུཪྻྭཱན ཏསྨཱཏ྄ ས དིནདྭཡཾ ཏཏྶྠཱནེ ནྱཝཥྚཏ྄
41 Many more believed because of his word.
ཏཏསྟསྱོཔདེཤེན བཧཝོ྅པརེ ཝིཤྭསྱ
42 They said to the woman, "Now we believe, not because of your speaking; for we have heard for ourselves, and know that this is indeed the Savior of the world."
ཏཱཾ ཡོཥཱམཝདན྄ ཀེཝལཾ ཏཝ ཝཱཀྱེན པྲཏཱིམ ཨིཏི ན, ཀིནྟུ ས ཛགཏོ྅བྷིཥིཀྟསྟྲཱཏེཏི ཏསྱ ཀཐཱཾ ཤྲུཏྭཱ ཝཡཾ སྭཡམེཝཱཛྙཱསམཧི།
43 After the two days he departed from there to Galil.
སྭདེཤེ བྷཝིཥྱདྭཀྟུཿ སཏྐཱརོ ནཱསྟཱིཏི ཡདྱཔི ཡཱིཤུཿ པྲམཱཎཾ དཏྭཱཀཐཡཏ྄
44 For Yeshua himself testified that a prophet has no honor in his own country.
ཏཐཱཔི དིཝསདྭཡཱཏ྄ པརཾ ས ཏསྨཱཏ྄ སྠཱནཱད྄ གཱལཱིལཾ གཏཝཱན྄།
45 So when he came into Galil, the Galileans received him, having seen all the things that he did in Jerusalem at the feast, for they also went to the feast.
ཨནནྟརཾ ཡེ གཱལཱིལཱི ལིཡལོཀཱ ཨུཏྶཝེ གཏཱ ཨུཏྶཝསམཡེ ཡིརཱུཤལམ྄ ནགརེ ཏསྱ སཪྻྭཱཿ ཀྲིཡཱ ཨཔཤྱན྄ ཏེ གཱལཱིལམ྄ ཨཱགཏཾ ཏམ྄ ཨཱགྲྀཧླན྄།
46 Yeshua came therefore again to Cana of Galil, where he made the water into wine. There was a certain nobleman whose son was sick at Kfar-Nahum.
ཏཏཿ པརམ྄ ཡཱིཤུ ཪྻསྨིན྄ ཀཱནྣཱནགརེ ཛལཾ དྲཱཀྵཱརསམ྄ ཨཱཀརོཏ྄ ཏཏ྄ སྠཱནཾ པུནརགཱཏ྄། ཏསྨིནྣེཝ སམཡེ ཀསྱཙིད྄ རཱཛསབྷཱསྟཱརསྱ པུཏྲཿ ཀཕརྣཱཧཱུམཔུརཱི རོགགྲསྟ ཨཱསཱིཏ྄།
47 When he heard that Yeshua had come out of Judea into Galil, he went to him, and pleaded with him that he would come down and heal his son, for he was close to death.
ས ཡེཧཱུདཱིཡདེཤཱད྄ ཡཱིཤོ རྒཱལཱིལཱགམནཝཱརྟྟཱཾ ནིཤམྱ ཏསྱ སམཱིཔཾ གཏྭཱ པྲཱརྠྱ ཝྱཱཧྲྀཏཝཱན྄ མམ པུཏྲསྱ པྲཱཡེཎ ཀཱལ ཨཱསནྣཿ བྷཝཱན྄ ཨཱགཏྱ ཏཾ སྭསྠཾ ཀརོཏུ།
48 Yeshua therefore said to him, "Unless you see signs and wonders, you will in no way believe."
ཏདཱ ཡཱིཤུརཀཐཡད྄ ཨཱཤྩཪྻྱཾ ཀརྨྨ ཙིཏྲཾ ཙིཧྣཾ ཙ ན དྲྀཥྚཱ ཡཱུཡཾ ན པྲཏྱེཥྱཐ།
49 The nobleman said to him, "Sir, come down before my child dies."
ཏཏཿ ས སབྷཱསདཝདཏ྄ ཧེ མཧེཙྪ མམ པུཏྲེ ན མྲྀཏེ བྷཝཱནཱགཙྪཏུ།
50 Yeshua said to him, "Go your way. Your son lives." The man believed the word that Yeshua spoke to him, and he went his way.
ཡཱིཤུསྟམཝདད྄ གཙྪ ཏཝ པུཏྲོ྅ཛཱིཝཱིཏ྄ ཏདཱ ཡཱིཤུནོཀྟཝཱཀྱེ ས ཝིཤྭསྱ གཏཝཱན྄།
51 As he was now going down, his servants met him, saying that his son was alive.
གམནཀཱལེ མཱརྒམདྷྱེ དཱསཱསྟཾ སཱཀྵཱཏྤྲཱཔྱཱཝདན྄ བྷཝཏཿ པུཏྲོ྅ཛཱིཝཱིཏ྄།
52 So he inquired of them the hour when he began to get better. They said therefore to him, "Yesterday at one in the afternoon, the fever left him."
ཏཏཿ ཀཾ ཀཱལམཱརབྷྱ རོགཔྲཏཱིཀཱརཱརམྦྷོ ཛཱཏཱ ཨིཏི པྲྀཥྚེ ཏཻརུཀྟཾ ཧྱཿ སཱརྡྡྷདཎྜདྭཡཱདྷིཀདྭིཏཱིཡཡཱམེ ཏསྱ ཛྭརཏྱཱགོ྅བྷཝཏ྄།
53 So the father knew that it was at that hour in which Yeshua said to him, "Your son lives." He believed, as did his whole house.
ཏདཱ ཡཱིཤུསྟསྨིན྄ ཀྵཎེ པྲོཀྟཝཱན྄ ཏཝ པུཏྲོ྅ཛཱིཝཱིཏ྄ པིཏཱ ཏདྦུདྡྷྭཱ སཔརིཝཱརོ ཝྱཤྭསཱིཏ྄།
54 This is again the second sign that Yeshua did, having come out of Judea into Galil.
ཡིཧཱུདཱིཡདེཤཱད྄ ཨཱགཏྱ གཱལཱིལི ཡཱིཤུརེཏད྄ དྭིཏཱིཡམ྄ ཨཱཤྩཪྻྱཀརྨྨཱཀརོཏ྄།
