Jeremiah 8
1 "At that time," says the LORD, "they shall bring out the bones of the kings of Judah, and the bones of his officials, and the bones of the cohanim, and the bones of the prophets, and the bones of the inhabitants of Jerusalem, out of their graves;
耶和华说：“到那时，人必将犹大王的骸骨和他首领的骸骨、祭司的骸骨、先知的骸骨，并耶路撒冷居民的骸骨，都从坟墓中取出来，
2 and they shall spread them before the sun, and the moon, and all the host of heaven, which they have loved, and which they have served, and after which they have walked, and which they have sought, and which they have worshiped: they shall not be gathered, nor be buried, they shall be for dung on the surface of the earth.
抛散在日头、月亮，和天上众星之下，就是他们从前所喜爱、所事奉、所随从、所求问、所敬拜的。这些骸骨不再收殓，不再葬埋，必在地面上成为粪土；
3 Death shall be chosen rather than life by all the residue that remain of this evil family, that remain in all the places where I have driven them," says the LORD of hosts.
并且这恶族所剩下的民在我所赶他们到的各处，宁可拣死不拣生。这是万军之耶和华说的。”
4 "Moreover you shall tell them, 'Thus says the LORD: Shall men fall, and not rise up again? Shall one turn away, and not return?
你要对他们说，耶和华如此说： 人跌倒，不再起来吗？ 人转去，不再转来吗？
5 Why then do these people of Jerusalem turn away in perpetual backsliding? They hold fast deceit; they refuse to return.
这耶路撒冷的民，为何恒久背道呢？ 他们守定诡诈，不肯回头。
6 I listened and heard, but they did not speak what is right: no man repents him of his wickedness, saying, "What have I done?" Everyone turns to his course, as a horse that rushes headlong in the battle.
我留心听，听见他们说不正直的话。 无人悔改恶行，说： 我做的是什么呢？ 他们各人转奔己路， 如马直闯战场。
7 Yes, the stork in the sky knows her appointed times; and the turtledove and the swallow and the crane observe the time of their coming; but my people do not know the LORD's law.
空中的鹳鸟知道来去的定期； 斑鸠燕子与白鹤也守候当来的时令； 我的百姓却不知道耶和华的法则。
8 How can you say, "We are wise, and the law of the LORD is with us?" But, look, the lying pen of the scribes has worked falsehood.
你们怎么说：我们有智慧， 耶和华的律法在我们这里？ 看哪，文士的假笔舞弄虚假。
9 The wise men are disappointed, they are dismayed and taken: look, they have rejected the word of the LORD; and what kind of wisdom is in them?
智慧人惭愧，惊惶，被擒拿； 他们弃掉耶和华的话， 心里还有什么智慧呢？
10 therefore I will give their wives to others, and their fields to those who shall possess them: for everyone from the least even to the greatest is given to covetousness; from the prophet even to the priest every one deals falsely.
所以我必将他们的妻子给别人， 将他们的田地给别人为业； 因为他们从最小的到至大的都一味地贪婪， 从先知到祭司都行事虚谎。
11 They have healed the hurt of the daughter of my people superficially, saying, "Peace, peace;" when there is no peace.
他们轻轻忽忽地医治我百姓的损伤，说： 平安了！平安了！ 其实没有平安。
12 Were they ashamed when they had committed abomination? No. They were not at all ashamed, neither could they blush: therefore shall they fall among those who fall; in the time of their visitation they shall be cast down, says the LORD.
他们行可憎的事知道惭愧吗？ 不然，他们毫不惭愧， 也不知羞耻。 因此他们必在仆倒的人中仆倒； 我向他们讨罪的时候， 他们必致跌倒。 这是耶和华说的。
13 I will utterly consume them, says the LORD: no grapes shall be on the vine, nor figs on the fig tree, and the leaf shall fade; and the things that I have given them shall pass away from them.'"
耶和华说：我必使他们全然灭绝； 葡萄树上必没有葡萄， 无花果树上必没有果子， 叶子也必枯干。 我所赐给他们的， 必离开他们过去。
14 "Why do we sit still? Assemble yourselves, and let us enter into the fortified cities, and let us be silent there; for the LORD our God has put us to silence, and given us water of gall to drink, because we have sinned against the LORD.
我们为何静坐不动呢？ 我们当聚集，进入坚固城， 在那里静默不言； 因为耶和华—我们的 神使我们静默不言， 又将苦胆水给我们喝， 都因我们得罪了耶和华。
15 We looked for peace, but no good came; and for a time of healing, and look, dismay.
我们指望平安， 却得不着好处； 指望痊愈的时候， 不料，受了惊惶。
16 The snorting of his horses is heard from Dan: at the sound of the neighing of his strong ones the whole land trembles; for they have come, and have devoured the land and all that is in it; the city and those who dwell in it.
听见从但那里敌人的马喷鼻气， 他的壮马发嘶声， 全地就都震动； 因为他们来吞灭这地和其上所有的， 吞灭这城与其中的居民。
17 For, look, I will send serpents, adders, among you, which will not be charmed; and they shall bite you," says the LORD.
看哪，我必使毒蛇到你们中间， 是不服法术的， 必咬你们。 这是耶和华说的。
18 "My joy for me is sorrow. My heart is faint within me.
我有忧愁，愿能自慰； 我心在我里面发昏。
19 Look, the voice of the cry of the daughter of my people from a land that is very far off: 'Isn't the LORD in Zion? Isn't her King in her?'" "Why have they provoked me to anger with their engraved images, and with foreign vanities?"
听啊，是我百姓的哀声从极远之地而来， 说：耶和华不在锡安吗？ 锡安的王不在其中吗？ 耶和华说：他们为什么以雕刻的偶像 和外邦虚无的神惹我发怒呢？
20 "'The harvest is past, the summer is ended, and we are not saved.'
麦秋已过，夏令已完， 我们还未得救！
21 For the hurt of the daughter of my people am I hurt: I mourn; dismay has taken hold on me.
先知说：因我百姓的损伤， 我也受了损伤。 我哀痛，惊惶将我抓住。
22 Is there no balm in Gilead? Is there no physician there? Why then isn't the health of the daughter of my people recovered?
在基列岂没有乳香呢？ 在那里岂没有医生呢？ 我百姓为何不得痊愈呢？
