< Isaiah 22 >

1 The burden of the Valley of Vision. What ails you now, that you have all gone up to the housetops?
Ty nibangoeñe i Vavatanem- Pahaoniñañey: Ino ty maniloke azo henaneo gea, t’ie miañambone mb’an-tafo mb’eo iaby!
2 You that are full of shouting, a tumultuous city, a joyous town; your slain are not slain with the sword, neither are they dead in battle.
Atsa-koràke irehe, Ty rova mivalitsikotake, ty positse mirebeke tia! Toe tsy zinamam-pibara o nibaibay ama’ areoo, tsy nitsingoro an-kotakotake!
3 All your rulers fled away together. They were bound by the archers. All who were found by you were bound together. They fled far away.
Fonga nitrao-pivoratsake ty mpifehe’ areo, f’ie tsinepake tsy am-pale, hene miharo-rohy ze nitendreke ndra te niherereake añe.
4 Therefore I said, "Look away from me. I will weep bitterly. Do not labor to comfort me for the destruction of the daughter of my people.
Aa le hoe iraho, Aviho amako o fihaino’oo; apoho hangololoike ty tañy; ko imanea’o hohò, ty amy fandrotsahañe i anak’ampela’ ondatikooy.
5 For it is a day of confusion, and of treading down, and of perplexity, from the LORD of hosts, in the Valley of Vision; a breaking down of the walls, and a crying to the mountains."
Fa ho andron-kankàñe, fandialiañe naho ampoheke, am-bavatanem-Pahoniñañe ao boak’ amy Talè Iehovà’ i Màroy; ty fandrotsahan-kijoly, vaho ty fikaikaihañe o vohitseo.
6 Elam carried his quiver, with chariots of men and horsemen; and Kir uncovered the shield.
Nitintiñe i trañon’ana-paley t’i Elame reketse sarete naho ondaty naho mpiningi-tsoavala, vaho nañafake i sarom-pikalan- defoñey t’i Kire.
7 It happened that your choicest valleys were full of chariots, and the horsemen set themselves in array at the gate.
Ho tondroke te ho tsitsike sarete o vavatane’ areo fanjàkao, vaho hilahatse an-dalam-bey eo o mpiningi-tsoavalao.
8 He took away the covering of Judah; and you looked in that day to the armor in the house of the forest.
Hinalo’e ty saro’ Iehodà. Nitolihe’o amy andro zay  o fialiañe añ’anjomban’alao;
9 You saw the breaches of the City of David, that they were many; and you gathered together the waters of the lower pool.
Nisamba’ areo o jeba’e an-drova’ i Davideo t’ie maro; vaho nitoha rano añ’antara ambane ey nahareo.
10 You numbered the houses of Jerusalem, and you broke down the houses to fortify the wall.
Nivolilie’ areo o anjomba’ Ierosalaimeo, vaho nakoroma’ areo ty anjomba ila’e hanosohañe i kijoliy.
11 You also made a reservoir between the two walls for the water of the old pool. But you did not look to him who had done this, neither did you have respect for him who purposed it long ago.
Nandranjia’ areo talaha añivo’ i kijoly roe rey hitañe ty rano’ i antara antetsey—fe tsy niatoa’ areo i namboats’azey, tsy nihaoñe’ areo i nisafiry aze haehaey.
12 In that day the LORD of hosts called for weeping and for mourning, for shaved heads, and for the wearing of sackcloth.
Amy andro zay nikoike fangololoihañe, naho fandalàñe, t’i Talè, Iehovà’ i Màroy, naho fampikovohan-doha, vaho fisikinan-gony;
13 But look, joy and gladness, killing cattle and killing sheep, eating flesh and drinking wine: "Let us eat and drink, for tomorrow we will die."
Te mone: rebeke naho hafaleañe, tombok’añombe naho fandentàñ’ añondry, fikamàn-kena naho finoman-divay: Antao hikama naho hinoñe, ke ho mate maray!
14 The LORD of hosts revealed himself in my ears, "Surely this iniquity will not be forgiven you until you die," says the LORD of hosts.
Aa le naboa’ Iehovà’ i Màroy an-tsofiko ao ty hoe: Toe tsy ho jebaña’o i hakeo zay ampara’ t’ie mihomake, hoe t’i Talè, Iehovà’ i Màroy.
15 Thus says the LORD of hosts, "Come, go to this steward, to Shebna, who is in charge of the house, and say,
Hoe t’i Talè, Iehovà’ i Màroy: Akia mb’amy mpamandroñey, mb’amy Sebnà, mpifehe’ i trañoy mb’eo:
16 'What are you doing here, and whom have you here, that you have dug out a tomb here?' Cutting himself out a tomb on high, chiseling a habitation for himself in the rock."
Ino ty zo’o atoy? Ia o azo atoio, te nihalia’o kibory etoa ho am-bata’o, ie andavaha’o lonake an-kaboañe ey, naho kaokaohe’o ho azo ty fimoneña’o an-damilamy ao?
17 Look, the LORD will overcome you and hurl you away violently. Yes, he will grasp you firmly.
Inao! havokovoko’ Iehovà am-pivokovokoam-panalolahy añe irehe; eka ho gore’e an-jitse,
18 He will surely wind you around and around, and throw you like a ball into a large country. There you will die, and there the chariots of your glory will be, you shame of your lord's house.
havarimbari’e vaho havoeboe’e hoe labole mb’an-tane miratraratra añe; añe ty hihomaha’o, ho añe ka o sareten’ enge’oo, ty hasalarañ’ anjomban-talè’o tia.
19 I will thrust you from your office. You will be pulled down from your station.
Ho roaheko irehe tsy ho an-toe’o, le hafotsako ho ambanen-tsaranga’o ao.
20 It will happen in that day that I will call my servant Eliakim the son of Hilkiah,
Ho tondroke amy andro zay te ho kanjieko t’i Eliakime ana’ i Hilkià, mpitoroko.
21 and I will clothe him with your robe, and strengthen him with your belt. I will commit your government into his hand; and he will be a father to the inhabitants of Jerusalem, and to the house of Judah.
Le haombeako ty sarimbo’o, hadiako ama’e ty sadia’o, vaho hapoko am-pità’e eo i nifelehe’oy; ie ty ho rae’ o mpimone’ Ierosalaimeo, naho i anjomba’ Iehodày.
22 I will lay the key of the house of David on his shoulder. He will open, and no one will shut. He will shut, and no one will open.
Hanoeko an-tsoro’eo i lahin-dakilèn’ anjomba’ i Davidey; ie manokake, tsy eo ty handrindry; ie mandrindriñe tsy eo ty hanokake.
23 I will fasten him like a nail in a sure place. He will be for a throne of glory to his father's house.
Haoreko hoe fàntake an-toe’e mafe eo; ie ty ho fiambesam-bolonahetse añ’anjomban-drae’e ao.
24 They will hang on him all the glory of his father's house, the offspring and the issue, every small vessel, from the cups even to all the pitchers.
Le hasampe’ iareo ama’e iaby ty engen-anjomban-drae’e, o tariratseo naho o tamingañeo, ze fonga anam-pitiheke naho ze hene fitovy naho o sajoao.
25 "In that day," says the LORD of hosts, "the nail that was fastened in a sure place will give way. It will be cut down, and fall. The burden that was on it will be cut off, for the LORD has spoken it."
Amy andro añe zay, hoe t’Iehovà’ i Màroy, le hitrànkañe i fantake nazitse an-toe’e mafey, hipoñake le hideboñe, vaho hipitsoke ama’e o kilankañe tama’eo; fa nitsara t’Iehovà.
