< Hebrews 6 >

1 Therefore leaving the doctrine of the first principles of Messiah, let us press on to perfection—not laying again a foundation of repentance from dead works, of faith toward God,
ᎾᏍᎩ ᎢᏳᏍᏗ ᎢᏗᎯᏯᏍᎬ ᎠᎴᏅᏙᏗ ᎦᎶᏁᏛ ᎤᏤᎵ ᏗᏕᏲᏗ ᎨᏒᎢ, ᏂᎦᎷᎶᎬᎾ ᎨᏒ ᎢᏴᏛ ᏫᏗᏰᎢᎶᎦ; ᏔᎵᏁ ᎦᎫᏍᏛᏗ ᏂᏗᎲᏍᎬᎾ ᎦᏁᏟᏴᏍᏗ ᎨᏒ ᎣᏓᏅᏛ ᎤᎬᏩᎵ, ᎠᏓᎯᎯᏉ ᏗᎦᎸᏫᏍᏓᏁᏗ ᏥᎩ, ᎠᎴ ᎤᏁᎳᏅᎯ ᎪᎯᏳᏗ ᎨᏒᎢ,
2 of the teaching of washings, of laying on of hands, of resurrection of the dead, and of everlasting judgment. (aiōnios g166)
ᏗᏓᏬᏍᏗ ᎨᏒ ᏗᏕᏲᏅᎯ ᎤᎬᏩᎵ, ᎠᎴ ᏗᏓᏏᏔᏗᏍᏗ ᎨᏒ ᎤᎬᏩᎵ, ᎠᎴ ᏧᏂᏲᎱᏒᎯ ᏧᎾᎴᎯᏐᏗ ᎨᏒ ᎤᎬᏩᎵ, ᎠᎴ ᎤᎵᏍᏆᏗᏍᏗ ᏂᎨᏒᎾ ᏗᎫᎪᏙᏗ ᎨᏒ ᎤᎬᏩᎵ. (aiōnios g166)
3 And this we will do if God permits.
ᎠᎴ ᎾᏍᎩ ᎯᎠ ᏅᏓᏓᏛᏁᎵ ᎢᏳᏃ ᎤᏁᎳᏅᎯ ᏱᎦᎵᏍᎪᎸᏓᏁᎸ.
4 For concerning those who were once enlightened and tasted of the heavenly gift, and were made partakers of the Ruach ha-Kodesh,
ᎬᏩᏟᏍᏗᏰᏃ ᎾᏍᎩ Ꮎ ᎢᎸᎯᏳ ᎢᎦ ᎨᎦᏗᏍᏓᏁᎸᎯ ᎨᏒᎢ, ᎠᎴ ᎤᎾᏁᎶᏔᏅᎯ ᎨᏒ ᎦᎸᎶᎢ ᏅᏓᏳᏓᎴᏅᎯ ᎠᏓᏁᏗ ᎨᏒᎢ, ᎠᎴ ᎦᎸᏉᏗᏳ ᎠᏓᏅᏙ ᎨᎦᏠᏯᏍᏔᏅ ᎨᏥᏁᎸᎯ.
5 and tasted the good word of God, and the powers of the age to come, (aiōn g165)
ᎠᎴ ᎤᎾᏁᎶᏔᏅᎯ ᏥᎩ ᎣᏍᏛ ᎧᏃᎮᏛ ᎤᏁᎳᏅᎯ ᎤᏤᎵᎦ, ᎠᎴ ᎤᎵᏂᎩᏛ ᎨᏒ ᎤᎵᏍᏆᎸᏗ ᎨᏒᎢ, (aiōn g165)
6 and then fell away, it is impossible to renew them again to repentance; seeing they crucify the Son of God for themselves again, and put him to open shame.
ᎾᏍᎩ ᏧᏂᏲᏒᎯ ᎨᏒᎢ, ᎬᏩᏟᏍᏗ ᏔᎵᏁ ᎢᏤ ᎢᎨᎬᏁᏗᏱ ᎦᏁᏟᏴᏍᏗ ᎨᏒ ᏚᎾᏓᏅᏛ ᏭᏂᎷᎯᏍᏗᏱ; ᎤᏅᏒᏰᏃ ᏔᎵᏁ ᎤᎾᏓᏛᏁᎸᎯ ᎢᎩ ᎤᏁᎳᏅᎯ ᎤᏪᏥ, ᎠᎴ ᎬᏂᎨᏒ ᎬᏩᏕᎰᎯᏍᏔᏅᎯ ᎢᎩ.
7 For the land which has drunk the rain that comes often on it, and brings forth a crop suitable for them for whose sake it is also tilled, receives blessing from God;
ᎦᏙᎯᏰᏃ ᏣᏗᏔᏍᎪ ᎠᎹ ᏯᏃ ᎤᎦᎿᎭᏂᎯᎲᎢ, ᎠᎴ ᏥᎦᎾᏄᎪᏫᏍᎪ ᎠᏛᏒᎥᏍᎩ ᎪᎱᏍᏗ ᎤᏅᏙᏗ ᎾᏍᎩ Ꮎ ᎦᏙᎯ ᎨᏥᎶᎦᏁᎸᎯ, ᎾᏍᎩ ᎤᏁᎳᏅᎯ ᎣᏍᏛ ᎾᏛᏁᎰᎢ.
8 but if it bears thorns and thistles, it is rejected and near being cursed, whose end is to be burned.
ᎾᏍᎩᏍᎩᏂ Ꮎ ᏥᏍᏚᏂᎩᏍᏗ ᎠᎴ ᎧᏄᎦᎸ ᎠᏛᏍᎬᎢ ᎠᏗᏅᏗᏉ, ᎠᎴ ᎠᏍᎦᎢᏍᏗᏱ ᎨᏒ ᎾᎥᏂᏳ ᏄᏍᏗᏕᎪᎢ, ᎾᏍᎩ ᎤᎵᏍᏆᎸᏗ ᎨᏒ ᎠᎪᎲᏍᏙᏗ ᏥᎩ.
9 But, beloved, we are persuaded of better things for you, and things that accompany salvation, even though we speak like this.
ᎠᏎᏃ, ᏂᎯ ᎨᏒ ᎢᏨᎨᏳᎢ, ᏅᏟᎯᏳ ᎣᏍᏛ ᎤᏚᎩ ᎢᏨᏴᎾᏁᎭ, ᎠᎴ ᎠᎵᏍᏕᎸᏙᏗ ᎨᏒ ᎤᎬᏩᎵ ᏔᎵ ᎤᏛᏗᏕᎬᎢ, ᎯᎠᏍᎩᏂᏃᏅ ᏃᏥᏪᎭ.
10 For God is not unrighteous, so as to forget your work and the love which you showed toward his name, in that you served the kadoshim, and still do serve them.
ᎤᏁᎳᏅᎯᏰᏃ ᎥᏝ ᏂᏚᏳᎪᏛᎾ ᎢᎬᏩᏛᏁᏗ ᏱᎩ ᎾᏍᎩ ᎤᏩᎨᏫᏍᏗᏱ ᏕᏥᎸᏫᏍᏓᏁᎸ ᎠᎴ ᎬᏂᎨᏒ ᏂᏨᏁᎸ ᎢᏥᎨᏳᏒ ᏕᎤᏙᎥᎢ. ᎾᏍᎩ ᏕᏥᏍᏕᎸᎯᏙᎸ ᎤᎾᏓᏅᏘ, ᎠᎴ ᎠᏏᏉ ᏕᏥᏍᏕᎵᏍᎬᎢ.
11 We desire that each one of you may show the same diligence to the fullness of hope even to the end,
ᎠᎴ ᎣᎦᏚᎵᎭ ᏂᏥᎥ ᎢᏥᏏᏴᏫᎭ ᎨᏒ ᎬᎵᏍᏆᏗᏍᎩ ᎾᏍᎩᏯ ᎢᎦᎢ ᎢᏣᏟᏂᎬᏁᏗᏱ ᎬᏂ ᎤᏣᏘ ᏄᏜᏓᏏᏛᏒᎾ ᎤᏚᎩ ᎬᏗ ᎨᏒ ᏫᏥᏱᎶᎸᎭ;
12 that you won't be sluggish, but imitators of those who through faith and patience inherited the promises.
ᎾᏍᎩ ᎢᏳᏍᏗ ᏞᏍᏗ ᎢᏣᏓᏄᎸᏗᏉ ᏱᎨᏎᏍᏗ, ᏗᏥᏍᏓᏩᏕᎩᏍᎩᏂ ᎨᏎᏍᏗ ᎾᏍᎩ Ꮎ ᎤᏃᎯᏳᏒ ᎠᎴ ᏗᏅᏂᏗᏳ ᎨᏒ ᎠᏅᏗᏍᎬ ᎤᎾᏤᎵ ᏄᏅᏁᎸ ᎠᏚᎢᏍᏔᏅᎢ.
13 For when God made a promise to Abraham, since he could swear by none greater, he swore by himself,
ᎤᏁᎳᏅᎯᏰᏃ ᎡᏆᎭᎻ ᎤᏚᎢᏍᏓᏁᎸ, ᎾᏍᎩ ᎩᎶ ᏅᏩᏓᎴ ᎤᏟ ᎢᏯᏥᎸᏉᏗ ᏒᎲ ᎬᏩᏎᎵᏙᏗ ᏂᎨᏒᎾ ᎨᏎᎢ, ᎤᏩᏒ ᎡᎲ ᎤᏎᎵᏙᏔᏁᎢ,
14 saying, "I will indeed bless you, and I will greatly multiply you."
ᎯᎠ ᏄᏪᏎᎢ, ᎤᏙᎯᏳᎯᏯ ᎤᏣᏘ ᎣᏍᏛ ᏅᏓᎬᏯᏛᏁᎵ, ᎠᎴ ᎤᏣᏘ ᏓᎬᏁᏉᎢ.
15 Thus, having patiently endured, he obtained the promise.
ᎰᏩᏃ ᎪᎯᏗᏳ ᎤᎦᏘᏛ ᎠᏥᏁᎴ ᎠᏚᎢᏍᏔᏅᎯ ᎨᏒᎢ.
16 For people swear oaths by something greater, and in every dispute of theirs the oath is final for confirmation.
ᏴᏫᏰᏃ ᎤᏙᎯᏳᎯ ᎤᏟ ᎢᏯᏥᎸᏉᏗ ᎡᎲ ᎨᎦᏎᎵᏙᏗᏍᎪᎢ; ᎠᎴ ᎠᏎᎵᏔᏅᎯ ᎨᏒ ( ᎪᎱᏍᏗ ) ᎠᏍᏓᏱᏗᏍᏙᏗ ᎠᏲᎯᏍᏗᏍᎩ ᎨᏐ ᎠᎾᏗᏒᎯᎲᎢ.
17 In this way God, being determined to show more abundantly to the heirs of the promise the immutability of his counsel, interposed with an oath;
ᎾᏍᎩ ᎢᏳᏍᏗ ᎤᏁᎳᏅᎯ ᎤᏚᎵᏍᎬ ᎤᏟ ᎢᎦᎢ ᎬᏂᎨᏒ ᎢᏧᏩᏁᏗᏱ ᎨᏥᏚᎢᏍᏓᏁᎸᎯ ᎾᏍᎩ ᎬᏩᏓᏁᏟᏴᏍᏗ ᏂᎨᏒᎾ ᎨᏒ ᏄᏍᏛ ᎠᏓᏅᏖᏍᎬᎢ, ᎠᏎᎵᏛᏍᎬ ᎤᏍᏓᏱᏍᏔᏁᎢ.
18 that by two immutable things, in which it is impossible for God to lie, we may have a strong encouragement, who have fled for refuge to take hold of the hope set before us.
ᎠᎴ ᎾᏍᎩ ᏔᎵ ᏄᎵᏁᏨ ᏕᏛᏗᏍᎬ ᎾᏍᎩ ᎬᏩᏓᏁᏟᏴᏍᏗ ᏂᎨᏒᎾ ᎨᏒᎢ, ᎾᎿᎭᎬᏩᏥᎪᏗ ᏂᎨᏒᎾ ᏥᎨᎭ ᎤᏁᎳᏅᎯ, ᎠᏴ ᎢᎩᏲᎸᎯ ᏥᎩ ᎢᎦᏗᏍᎦᎶᏗᏱ, ᎤᎵᏂᎩᏛ ᎢᎩᎦᎵᏍᏓᏗᏍᎩ ᎨᎩᏩᏛᏗ ᎢᏳᎵᏍᏙᏗᏱ, ᎾᏍᎩ ᏗᎩᏂᏴᏗᏱ ᎤᏚᎩ ᎬᏗ ᎡᎩᏩᏌᏓᏁᎲᎢ;
19 This hope we have as an anchor of the soul, a hope both sure and steadfast and entering into that which is within the curtain;
ᎾᏍᎩ ᎤᏚᎩ ᎬᏗ ᎨᏒ ᎾᏍᎩᏯ ᎠᏓᏅᏙ ᎦᎾᎯᏍᏙᏗ ᏥᎩ, ᎡᏍᎦ ᏂᎦᎵᏍᏗᏍᎬᎾ ᎠᎴ ᎬᏗᏏᏴᏍᏗ ᏂᎨᏒᎾ, ᎠᎴ ᎾᏍᎩ ᏥᏩᏴᎯᎭ ᎾᏍᎩ ᎠᏰᏙᎳᏛ ᎤᏗᏗᏢ;
20 where as a forerunner Yeshua entered for us, having become a cohen hagadol forever after the order of Melchizedek. (aiōn g165)
ᎾᎿᎭᏥᏌ ᎢᎬᏱ ᎡᎩ ᏫᎩᏴᏎᎸᎯ ᏥᎩ, ᎾᏍᎩ ᏄᎬᏫᏳᏒ ᎠᏥᎸ-ᎨᎶᎯ ᏂᎪᎯᎸ ᎠᏥᎧᏅᎯ ᏥᎩ, ᎺᎵᎩᏏᏕᎩ ᏄᏍᏛ ᎾᏍᎩᏯᎢ. (aiōn g165)
