Ezekiel 9

1 Then he cried in my ears with a loud voice, saying, "Cause those who are in charge of the city to draw near, every man with his destroying weapon in his hand."

斯て彼大聲に吾耳に呼はりて言たまふ邑を主どる者等各々剪滅の器具を手にとりて前み來れと

2 Look, six men came from the way of the Upper Gate, which lies toward the north, every man with his slaughter weapon in his hand; and one man in their midst clothed in linen, with a writer's inkhorn by his side. They went in, and stood beside the bronze altar.

即ち北にむかへる上の門の路より六人の者おのおの打壞る器具を手にとりて來る其中に一人布の衣を着筆記人の墨盂を腰におぶる者あり彼等來りて銅の壇の傍に立てり

3 The glory of the God of Israel was gone up from the cherub, whereupon it was, to the threshold of the house: and he called to the man clothed in linen, who had the writer's inkhorn by his side.

爰にイスラエルの神の榮光その居るところのケルブの上より起あがりて家の閾にいたり彼の布の衣を着て腰に筆記人の墨盂をおぶる者を呼ぶ

4 The LORD said to him, "Go through the midst of the city, through the midst of Jerusalem, and set a mark on the foreheads of the men that sigh and that cry over all the abominations that are done in its midst."

時にヱホバかれに言たまひけるは邑の中ヱルサレムの中を巡れ而して邑の中に行はるるところの諸の憎むべき事のために歎き哀しむ人々の額に記號をつけよと

5 To the others he said in my hearing, "Go through the city after him, and strike: do not let your eye spare, neither have pity;

我聞に彼またその他の者等にいひたまふ彼にしたがひて邑を巡りて撃てよ汝等の目人を惜み見るべからず憐れむべからず

6 kill utterly the old man, the young man and the virgin, and little children and women; but do not come near any man on whom is the mark: and begin at my sanctuary." Then they began at the old men that were before the house.

老人も少者も童女も孩子も婦人も悉く殺すべし然ど身に記號ある者には觸べからず先わが聖所より始めよと彼等すなはち家の前にをりし老人より始む

7 He said to them, "Defile the house, and fill the courts with the slain. Go forth." They went forth, and struck in the city.

彼またかれらに言たまふ家を汚し死人をもて庭に充せよ汝等往けよと彼等すなはち出ゆきて邑の中に人を撃つ

8 It happened, while they were smiting, and I was left, that I fell on my face, and cried, and said, "Ah, LORD. Will you destroy all the residue of Israel in your pouring out of your wrath on Jerusalem?"

彼等人を撃ちける時我遺されたれば俯伏て叫び言ふ嗚呼主ヱホバよ汝怒をヱルサレムにもらしてイスラエルの殘餘者を悉くほろぼしたまふや

9 Then he said to me, "The iniquity of the house of Israel and Judah is exceedingly great, and the land is full of blood, and the city full of perversion: for they say, 'The LORD has forsaken the land, and the LORD doesn't see.'

彼われに言たまひけるはイスラエルとユダの家の罪甚だ大なり國には血盈ち邑には邪曲充つ即ち彼等いふヱホバは此地を棄てたりヱホバは見ざるなりと

10 As for me also, my eye shall not spare, neither will I have pity, but I will bring their way on their head."

然ば亦わが目かれらを惜み見ず我かれらを憐まじ彼らの行ふところを彼等の首に報いん

11 Look, the man clothed in linen, who had the inkhorn by his side, reported the matter, saying, "I have done as you have commanded me."

時にかの布の衣を着て腰に筆記人の墨盂をおぶる人復命まをして言ふ汝が我に命じたまひしごとく爲たりと
