Exodus 6

1 The LORD said to Moses, "Now you shall see what I will do to Pharaoh, for by a strong hand he shall let them go, and by a strong hand he shall drive them out of his land."

Então disse o Senhor a Moisés: Agora verás o que hei de fazer a faraó: porque por uma mão poderosa os deixará ir, sim, por uma mão poderosa os lançará de sua terra.

2 Then God spoke to Moses, and said to him, "I am the LORD.

Falou mais Deus a Moisés, e disse: Eu sou o Senhor,

3 And I appeared to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob as El Shaddai, but I did not make myself known to them by my name 'the LORD.'

E eu apareci a Abraão, a Isaac, e a Jacob, como Deus o Todo-poderoso: mas pelo meu nome, o Senhor, não lhes fui perfeitamente conhecido.

4 And I have also established my covenant with them, to give them the land of Canaan, the land of their sojournings, in which they were foreigners.

E também estabeleci o meu concerto com eles, para dar-lhes a terra de Canaan, a terra de suas peregrinações, na qual foram peregrinos.

5 Moreover I have heard the groaning of the children of Israel, whom the Egyptians keep in bondage, and I have remembered my covenant.

E também tenho ouvido o gemido dos filhos de Israel, aos quais os egípcios fazem servir, e me lembrei do meu concerto.

6 Therefore tell the children of Israel, 'I am the LORD, and I will bring you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians, and I will rid you out of their bondage, and I will redeem you with an outstretched arm, and with great judgments:

Portanto dize aos filhos de Israel: Eu sou o Senhor, e vos tirarei de debaixo das cargas dos egípcios, e vos resgatarei com braço estendido e com juízos grandes.

7 and I will take you to me for a people, and I will be to you a God; and you shall know that I am the LORD your God, who brings you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians.

E eu vos tomarei por meu povo, e serei vosso Deus; e sabereis que eu sou o Senhor vosso Deus, que vos tiro de debaixo das cargas dos egípcios;

8 I will bring you into the land which I swore to give to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob; and I will give it to you as a possession. I am the LORD.'"

E eu vos levarei à terra, acerca da qual levantei minha mão, que a daria a Abraão, a Isaac, e a Jacob, e vo-la darei por herança, eu o Senhor.

9 Moses spoke so to the children of Israel, but they did not listen to Moses for anguish of spirit, and for cruel bondage.

Deste modo falou Moisés aos filhos de Israel, mas eles não ouviram a Moisés, por causa da ancia do espírito e da dura servidão.

10 The LORD spoke to Moses, saying,

Falou mais o Senhor a Moisés, dizendo:

11 "Go in, speak to Pharaoh king of Egypt, that he let the children of Israel go out of his land."

Entra, e fala a faraó rei do Egito, que deixe sair os filhos de Israel da sua terra.

12 Moses spoke before the LORD, saying, "Look, the children of Israel haven't listened to me. How then shall Pharaoh listen to me, who am of uncircumcised lips?"

Moisés, porém, falou perante o Senhor, dizendo: Eis que os filhos de Israel me não tem ouvido; como pois faraó me ouvirá? também eu sou incircunciso dos lábios.

13 The LORD spoke to Moses and to Aaron, and gave them a command to the children of Israel, and to Pharaoh king of Egypt, to bring the children of Israel out of the land of Egypt.

Todavia o Senhor falou a Moisés e a Aarão, e deu-lhes mandamento para os filhos de Israel, e para faraó rei do Egito, para que tirassem os filhos de Israel da terra do Egito.

14 These are the heads of their fathers' houses. The sons of Reuben the firstborn of Israel: Hanoch, and Pallu, Hezron, and Carmi; these are the families of Reuben.

Estas são as cabeças das casas de seus pais: Os filhos de Ruben, o primogênito de Israel: Hanoch e palu, Hezron e Carmi; estas são as famílias de Ruben.

15 The sons of Simeon: Jemuel, and Jamin, and Ohad, and Jakin, and Zohar, and Shaul the son of a Canaanite woman; these are the families of Simeon.

E os filhos de Simeão: Jemuel, e Jamin, e Ohad, e Jachin, e Zohar, e Shaul, filho de uma Cananeia; estas são as famílias de Simeão.

16 These are the names of the sons of Levi according to their generations: Gershon, and Kohath, and Merari; and the years of the life of Levi were one hundred thirty-seven years.

E estes são os nomes dos filhos de Levi, segundo as suas gerações: Gerson, e Koath, e Merari: e os anos da vida de Levi foram cento e trinta e sete anos.

17 The sons of Gershon: Libni and Shimei, according to their families.

Os filhos de Gerson: Libni e Simei, segundo as suas famílias;

18 The sons of Kohath: Amram, and Izhar, and Hebron, and Uzziel; and the years of the life of Kohath were one hundred thirty-three years.

E os filhos de Kohath: Amram, e Izhar, e Hebron, e Uzziel: e os anos da vida de Kohath foram cento e trinta e três anos.

19 The sons of Merari: Mahli and Mushi. These are the families of the Levites according to their generations.

E os filhos de Merari: Mahali e Musi: estas são as famílias de Levi, segundo as suas gerações.

20 Amram took Jochebed his father's sister to himself as wife; and she bore him Aaron and Moses: and the years of the life of Amram were a hundred and thirty-seven years.

E Amram tomou por mulher a Jochebed, sua tia, e ela pariu-lhe a Aarão e a Moisés: e os anos da vida de Amram foram cento e trinta e sete anos.

21 The sons of Izhar: Korah, and Nepheg, and Zikri.

E os filhos de Izhar: Korah, e Nepheg, e Zichri.

22 The sons of Uzziel: Mishael, and Elzaphan, and Sithri.

E os filhos de Uzziel: Misael, e Elzaphan e Sithri.

23 Aaron took Elisheba, the daughter of Amminadab, the sister of Nahshon, as his wife; and she bore him Nadab and Abihu, Eleazar and Ithamar.

E Aarão tomou por mulher a Eliseba, filha de Amminadab, irmã de Nahasson; e ela pariu-lhe a Nadab, e Abihu, Eleazar e Ithamar.

24 The sons of Korah: Assir, and Elkanah, and Abiasaph; these are the families of the Korahites.

E os filhos de Korah: Assir, e Elkana, e Abiasaph: estas são as famílias dos Korithas.

25 Eleazar Aaron's son took one of the daughters of Putiel as his wife; and she bore him Phinehas. These are the heads of ancestral houses of the Levites according to their families.

E Eleazar, filho de Aarão, tomou para si por mulher uma das filhas de Putiel, e ela pariu-lhe a Phineas: estas são as cabeças dos pais dos levitas, segundo as suas famílias.

26 These are the Aaron and Moses to whom God said, "Bring out the children of Israel from the land of Egypt according to their regiments."

Estes são Aarão e Moisés, aos quais o Senhor disse: tirai os filhos de Israel da terra do Egito, segundo os seus exércitos.

27 These are those who spoke to Pharaoh king of Egypt, to bring out the children of Israel from Egypt. These are that Moses and Aaron.

Estes são os que falaram a faraó, rei do Egito, para que tirasse do Egito os filhos de Israel: estes são Moisés e Aarão.

28 It happened on the day when the LORD spoke to Moses in the land of Egypt,

E aconteceu que naquele dia, quando o Senhor falou a Moisés na terra do Egito,

29 that the LORD spoke to Moses, saying, "I am the LORD. Speak to Pharaoh king of Egypt all that I speak to you."

Falou o Senhor a Moisés, dizendo: Eu sou o Senhor; fala a faraó, rei do Egito, tudo quanto eu te digo a ti.

30 Moses said before the LORD, "Look, I am of uncircumcised lips, and how shall Pharaoh listen to me?"

Então disse Moisés perante o Senhor: Eis que eu sou incircunciso dos lábios; como pois faraó me ouvirá?
