Ephesians 6
1 Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right.
Ti, gyermekek, szót fogadjatok a ti szüleiteknek az Úrban, mert ez az igaz.
2 "Honor your father and mother," which is the first commandment with a promise:
Tiszteld atyádat és anyádat (ami az első parancsolat ígérettel),
3 "that it may be well with you, and that you may live long in the land."
hogy jól legyen dolgod, és hosszú életű légy e földön.
4 And fathers, do not provoke your children to anger, but nurture them in the discipline and instruction of the Lord.
Ti is, atyák, ne ingereljétek gyermekeiteket, hanem neveljétek azokat az Úr tanítása és intése szerint.
5 Servants, be obedient to those who according to the flesh are your masters, with fear and trembling, in singleness of your heart, as to Messiah;
Ti, szolgák, engedelmesek legyetek a ti test szerint való uraitoknak félelemmel és rettegéssel, szíveteknek egyenességében, mint a Krisztusnak,
6 not in the way of service only when eyes are on you, as people-pleasers; but as servants of Messiah, doing the will of God from the heart;
nem a szemnek szolgálva, mint akik embereknek akarnak tetszeni, hanem mint Krisztus szolgái, cselekedve az Istennek akaratát lélekből,
7 with good will doing service, as to the Lord, and not to people;
jó akarattal, mint akik az Úrnak szolgálnak és nem embereknek,
8 knowing that whatever good thing each one does, he will receive the same again from the Lord, whether he is bound or free.
tudván, hogy ki-ki ami jót cselekszik, azt veszi az Úrtól, akár szolga legyen, akár szabad.
9 You masters, do the same things to them, and give up threatening, knowing that he who is both their Master and yours is in heaven, and there is no partiality with him.
Ti is, urak, ugyanazt cselekedjétek velük, elhagyva a fenyegetést, tudva, hogy a ti Uratok is mennyben van, és személyválogatás nincsen őnála.
10 Finally, be strong in the Lord, and in the strength of his might.
Végezetre, atyámfiai, legyetek erősek az Úrban, és az ő hatalmas erejében.
11 Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil.
Öltözzétek föl az Isten minden fegyverét, hogy megállhassatok az ördögnek minden ravaszságával szemben.
12 For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world's rulers of this darkness, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places. (aiōn g165)
Mert nem vér és test ellen van nékünk tusakodásunk, hanem a fejedelemségek ellen, a hatalmasságok ellen, ez élet sötétségének világbírói ellen, a gonoszság lelkei ellen, melyek a magasságban vannak. (aiōn g165)
13 Therefore, put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and, having done all, to stand.

14 Stand therefore, having the belt of truth buckled around your waist, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness,
Álljatok hát elő, körülövezve derekatokat igazlelkűséggel és felöltözve az igazságnak páncélját,
15 and having fitted your feet with the preparation of the Good News of peace;
felsaruzva lábaitokat a békesség evangéliumának készségével.
16 above all, taking up the shield of faith, with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the evil one.
Mindezekhez fölvéve a hitnek pajzsát, amellyel ama gonosznak minden tüzes nyilát kiolthatjátok.
17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Ruach, which is the spoken word of God;
Az üdvösség sisakját is fölvegyétek és a Léleknek kardját, amely az Isten beszéde.
18 with all prayer and requests, praying at all times in the Ruach, and being watchful to this end in all perseverance and requests for all the kadoshim:
Minden imádsággal és könyörgéssel imádkozva minden időben a Lélek által, és ugyanígy vigyázzatok teljes állhatatossággal és könyörgéssel minden szentekért,
19 on my behalf, that utterance may be given to me in opening my mouth, to make known with boldness the mystery of the Good News,

20 for which I am an ambassador in chains; that in it I may speak boldly, as I ought to speak.

21 But that you also may know my affairs, how I am doing, Tychicus, the beloved brother and faithful servant in the Lord, will make known to you all things;
Hogy pedig ti is megtudjátok dolgaimat, hogy mit cselekszem, mindent megismertet veletek Tükhikosz, a szeretett atyafi és hű szolga az Úrban,
22 whom I have sent to you for this very purpose, that you may know our state, and that he may comfort your hearts.
kit éppen azért küldöttem hozzátok, hogy megismerjétek a mi dolgainkat, és megvigasztalja a ti szíveteket.
23 Peace be to the brothers, and love with faith, from God the Father and the Lord Yeshua the Messiah.
Békesség az atyafiaknak és szeretet hittel együtt az Atya Istentől és az Úr Jézus Krisztustól!
24 Grace be with all those who love our Lord Yeshua the Messiah with incorruptible love.
A kegyelem legyen mindazokkal, akik szeretik a mi Urunk Jézus Krisztust romlatlanságban. Ámen.
