Ephesians 3
1 For this cause I, Paul, am the prisoner of Messiah Yeshua on behalf of you the non-Jews,
É pelo bem de vocês, não-judeus, que eu, Paulo, sou um prisioneiro por causa de Jesus Cristo.
2 if it is so that you have heard of the administration of that grace of God which was given me toward you;
Eu suponho que vocês tenham ouvido que Deus me deu a responsabilidade específica de compartilhar a bênção dele com vocês.
3 how that by revelation the mystery was made known to me, as I wrote before in few words,
Assim, por meio do que Deus me mostrou, o mistério que antes estava escondido foi revelado a mim. Eu já escrevi para vocês sobre isso de uma forma bem breve
4 by which, when you read, you can perceive my understanding in the mystery of Messiah;
e, ao lerem o que foi escrito, vocês serão capazes de entender o conhecimento que tenho sobre o mistério de Cristo.
5 which in other generations was not made known to people, as it has now been revealed to his holy emissaries and prophets in the Ruach;
Antigamente, esse mistério não foi revelado a ninguém. Mas, agora, Deus o revelou aos apóstolos e aos profetas, por meio do Espírito.
6 that the non-Jews are fellow heirs, and fellow members of the body, and fellow partakers of the promise in Messiah Yeshua through the Good News,
E o mistério diz que os não-judeus também são herdeiros, fazem parte do mesmo corpo e, unidos a Cristo Jesus, compartilham, juntamente com os judeus, da promessa, por meio do evangelho.
7 of which I was made a servant, according to the gift of that grace of God which was given me according to the working of his power.
Eu me tornei um servo do evangelho por causa do dom que Deus, em sua graça, me concedeu. Esse dom me foi dado pelo poder de Deus, que atua em mim.
8 To me, the very least of all kadoshim, was this grace given, to proclaim to the non-Jews the unsearchable riches of Messiah,
Eu, o menos importante de todos os cristãos, recebi essa graça de anunciar aos não-judeus o incrível valor de Cristo
9 and to bring to light for all what is the administration of the mystery which for ages has been hidden in God, who created all things; (aiōn g165)
e para fazer com que todos vissem o mistério, desde o início escondido em Deus, aquele que tudo fez. (aiōn g165)
10 to the intent that now through the congregation the manifold wisdom of God might be made known to the rulers and the authorities in the heavenly places,
O plano de Deus era que os vários aspectos da sua sabedoria fossem revelados, por meio da igreja, aos governantes e às autoridades do mundo celestial.
Isso foi feito de acordo com o eterno propósito de Deus, que ele realizou em Cristo Jesus, o nosso Senhor. (aiōn g165)
12 in whom we have boldness and access in confidence through our faith in him.
Por causa dele e da nossa fé nele, nós podemos ir a Deus em total liberdade e cheios de confiança.
13 Therefore I ask that you not be discouraged because of my sufferings for you, which is your glory.
Então, eu lhes peço que não percam a coragem por causa do meu sofrimento. Pois, se sofro, faço isso por vocês e espero que valorizem o meu esforço.
14 For this cause, I bow my knees before the Father,
É por isso que eu me ajoelho diante do Pai,
15 from whom every family in heaven and on earth is named,
de quem cada uma das famílias, tanto as do céu quanto as da terra, recebe a sua natureza e o seu caráter.
16 that he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, that you may be strengthened with power through his Ruach in the inner person;
Eu peço que, com a sua gloriosa riqueza, ele possa lhes fortalecer no íntimo do seu ser com poder, por meio do seu Espírito.
17 that Messiah may dwell in your hearts through faith; to the end that you, being rooted and grounded in love,
Que Cristo viva em vocês, por meio da sua fé nele. E que vocês, com raízes cravadas profundamente no amor,
18 may be strengthened to comprehend with all the kadoshim what is the breadth and length and height and depth,
tenham o poder para compreender, com todo o povo de Deus, as várias dimensões do amor de Cristo.
19 and to know Messiah's love which surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.
Que vocês conheçam o amor de Cristo, que ultrapassa todo o conhecimento, para que a plenitude de Deus os preencha e os complete totalmente.
20 Now to him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us,
E, finalmente, que Deus, que pode fazer infinitamente mais do que nós poderíamos pedir ou até mesmo pensar,
