Daniel 7
1 In the first year of Belshazzar king of Babylon Daniel had a dream and visions in his mind on his bed. Then he wrote the dream and told the summary of it.
൧ബാബേൽരാജാവായ ബേൽശസ്സരിന്റെ ഒന്നാം ആണ്ടിൽ ദാനീയേൽ ഒരു സ്വപ്നം കണ്ടു; അവന് കിടക്കയിൽവച്ച് ദർശനങ്ങൾ ഉണ്ടായി. അവൻ സ്വപ്നം എഴുതി കാര്യത്തിന്റെ സാരം വിവരിച്ചു.
2 Daniel spoke and said, "I saw in my vision by night, and, look, the four winds of the sky broke forth on the great sea.
൨ദാനീയേൽ വിവരിച്ചു പറഞ്ഞത്: “ഞാൻ രാത്രിയിൽ എന്റെ ദർശനത്തിൽ കണ്ടത് ഇപ്രകാരം ആയിരുന്നു: ആകാശത്തിലെ നാല് കാറ്റും മഹാസമുദ്രത്തിന്റെ നേരെ അടിക്കുന്നത് ഞാൻ കണ്ടു.
3 Four great animals came up from the sea, different from one another.
൩അപ്പോൾ വ്യത്യസ്തങ്ങളായ നാല് മഹാമൃഗങ്ങൾ സമുദ്രത്തിൽനിന്ന് കയറി വന്നു.
4 The first was like a lion, and had eagle's wings. I saw until its wings were plucked, and it was lifted up from the earth, and made to stand on two feet as a man; and a man's mind was given to it.
൪ഒന്നാമത്തെ മൃഗം സിംഹത്തോട് സദൃശവും കഴുകിൻ ചിറകുള്ളതുമായിരുന്നു; ഞാൻ നോക്കിക്കൊണ്ടിരിക്കുമ്പോൾ അതിന്റെ ചിറകുകൾ പറിഞ്ഞുപോയി; അതിനെ നിലത്തുനിന്നു ഉയർത്തി, മനുഷ്യനെപ്പോലെ ഇരുകാലുകളിൽ നിർത്തി, അതിന് മാനുഷഹൃദയവും കൊടുത്തു.
5 And look, another animal, a second one, like a bear; and it was raised up on one side, and three ribs were in its mouth between its teeth. And they said this to it, 'Arise, devour much flesh.'
൫രണ്ടാമത് കരടിയോടു സദൃശമായ മറ്റൊരു മൃഗത്തെ കണ്ടു; അത് ഒരു പാർശ്വം ഉയർത്തി, വായിൽ പല്ലിന്റെ ഇടയിൽ മൂന്ന് വാരിയെല്ലുകൾ കടിച്ചുപിടിച്ചുകൊണ്ട് നിന്നു; അവർ അതിനോട്: ‘എഴുന്നേറ്റ് മാംസം ധാരാളം തിന്നുക’ എന്ന് പറഞ്ഞു.
6 After this I saw, and look, another one, like a leopard, which had on its back four wings of a bird. The animal also had four heads; and dominion was given to it.
൬പിന്നെ പുള്ളിപ്പുലിക്കു സദൃശമായ മറ്റൊന്നിനെ കണ്ടു; അതിന്റെ മുതുകത്ത് പക്ഷിയുടെ നാല് ചിറകുകളുണ്ടായിരുന്നു; മൃഗത്തിന് നാല് തലയും ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു; അതിന് ആധിപത്യം ലഭിച്ചു.
7 After this I saw in the night visions, and look, a fourth animal, awesome and powerful, and extremely strong. And it had great iron teeth. It devoured and broke in pieces, and stamped what was left with its feet. And it was diverse from all the animals that were before it; and it had ten horns.
൭രാത്രിദർശനത്തിൽ ഞാൻ പിന്നെ ഘോരവും ഭയങ്കരവും ബലശാലിയുമായ നാലാമതൊരു മൃഗത്തെ കണ്ടു; അതിന് വലിയ ഇരിമ്പുപല്ലുകൾ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു; അത് തിന്നുകയും തകർക്കുകയും ചെയ്തിട്ട് ശേഷിച്ചത് കാൽ കൊണ്ട് ചവിട്ടിക്കളഞ്ഞു; മുമ്പെ കണ്ട സകലമൃഗങ്ങളിലുംവച്ച് ഇത് വ്യത്യാസമുള്ളതായിരുന്നു; അതിന് പത്ത് കൊമ്പുകൾ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു.
8 I considered the horns, and look, there came up among them another horn, a little one, before which three of the first horns were plucked up by the roots. And look, in this horn were eyes like the eyes of a man, and a mouth speaking arrogant things.
൮ഞാൻ ആ കൊമ്പുകൾ നോക്കിക്കൊണ്ടിരിക്കുമ്പോൾ, അവയുടെ ഇടയിൽ മറ്റൊരു ചെറിയ കൊമ്പ് മുളച്ചുവന്നു; അതിനാൽ മുമ്പിലത്തെ കൊമ്പുകളിൽ മൂന്നെണ്ണം വേരോടെ പറിഞ്ഞുപോയി; ഈ കൊമ്പിൽ മനുഷ്യന്റെ കണ്ണുപോലെ കണ്ണും വമ്പു പറയുന്ന വായും ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു.
9 I saw until thrones were placed, and the Ancient of Days took his seat. His clothing was white as snow, and the hair of his head like pure wool. His throne was fiery flames, and its wheels burning fire.
൯ഞാൻ നോക്കിക്കൊണ്ടിരിക്കുമ്പോൾ അവർ ന്യായാസനങ്ങൾ വച്ചു. കാലാതീതനായ ഒരുവൻ ഇരുന്നു. അവന്റെ വസ്ത്രം ഹിമംപോലെ വെളുത്തതും അവന്റെ തലമുടി നിർമ്മലമായ ആട്ടുരോമംപോലെയും അവന്റെ സിംഹാസനം അഗ്നിജ്വാലയും അവന്റെ രഥചക്രങ്ങൾ കത്തുന്ന തീയും ആയിരുന്നു.
10 A fiery stream issued and came forth from before him. Thousands of thousands ministered to him, and ten thousand times ten thousand stood before him. The court sat in judgment, and the books were opened.
൧൦ഒരു അഗ്നിനദി അവന്റെ മുമ്പിൽനിന്ന് പുറപ്പെട്ട് ഒഴുകി; ആയിരമായിരം പേർ അവന് ശുശ്രൂഷചെയ്തു; പതിനായിരം പതിനായിരംപേർ അവന്റെ മുമ്പാകെ നിന്നു; ന്യായവിസ്താരസഭ ഇരുന്നു; പുസ്തകങ്ങൾ തുറന്നു.
11 I saw at that time because of the voice of the arrogant words which the horn spoke. I was watching until the animal was killed and its body destroyed and was given to be burned with fire.
൧൧കൊമ്പ് സംസാരിച്ച നിഗളവാക്കുകളുടെ ശബ്ദം നിമിത്തം ഞാൻ അപ്പോൾ നോക്കി; അവർ മൃഗത്തെ കൊല്ലുകയും അതിന്റെ ഉടൽ നശിപ്പിച്ച് തീയിൽ ഇട്ട് ചുട്ടുകളയുകയും ചെയ്യുവോളം ഞാൻ നോക്കിക്കൊണ്ടിരുന്നു.
12 As for the rest of the animals, their dominion was taken away, yet their lives were prolonged for a season and a time.
൧൨ശേഷം മൃഗങ്ങളോ - അവയുടെ ആധിപത്യത്തിന് നീക്കം ഭവിച്ചു; എന്നിട്ടും അവയുടെ ആയുസ്സ് ഒരു സമയത്തേക്കും കാലത്തേക്കും നീണ്ടുനിന്നു.
13 I saw in the night visions, and look, there came with the clouds of the sky one like a son of man, and he came even to the Ancient of Days, and they brought him near before him.
൧൩രാത്രി ദർശനങ്ങളിൽ മനുഷ്യപുത്രനോടു സദൃശനായ ഒരുത്തൻ ആകാശമേഘങ്ങളോടെ വരുന്നത് കണ്ടു; അവൻ കാലാതീതനായവന്‍റെ അടുക്കൽ ചെന്നു; അവർ അവനെ അവന്റെ മുമ്പിൽ അടുത്തുവരുമാറാക്കി.
14 There was given him dominion, and glory, and a kingdom, that all the peoples, nations, and languages should serve him. His dominion is an everlasting dominion, which shall not pass away, and his kingdom that which shall not be destroyed.
൧൪സകലവംശങ്ങളും ജനതകളും ഭാഷക്കാരും അവനെ സേവിക്കുവാൻ തക്കവിധം അവന് ആധിപത്യവും മഹത്വവും രാജത്വവും ലഭിച്ചു; അവന്റെ ആധിപത്യം നീങ്ങിപ്പോകാത്ത നിത്യാധിപത്യവും അവന്റെ രാജത്വം നശിച്ചുപോകാത്തതും ആകുന്നു.
15 As for me, Daniel, my spirit was grieved in the midst of my body, and the visions of my mind troubled me.
൧൫ദാനീയേൽ എന്ന ഞാൻ എന്റെ ഉള്ളിൽ, ആത്മാവിൽ, വ്യസനിച്ചു: എനിക്കുണ്ടായ ദർശനങ്ങളാൽ ഞാൻ പരവശനായി.
16 I came near to one of those who stood by, and asked him the true meaning concerning all this. So he told me, and revealed to me the interpretation of these things.
൧൬ഞാൻ സിംഹാസനത്തിന്റെ അരികിൽ നില്ക്കുന്നവരിൽ ഒരുവന്റെ അടുക്കൽ ചെന്ന് അവനോട് ഇവ എല്ലാറ്റിന്റെയും സാരം ചോദിച്ചു; അവൻ കാര്യങ്ങളുടെ അർത്ഥം പറഞ്ഞുതന്നു.
17 These great animals, which are four, are four kings, who shall arise out of the earth.
൧൭ആ നാല് മഹാമൃഗങ്ങൾ ഭൂമിയിൽ ഉണ്ടാകുവാനിരിക്കുന്ന നാല് രാജാക്കന്മാരാകുന്നു.
18 But the holy ones of the Most High shall receive the kingdom, and possess the kingdom forever, forever and ever.
൧൮എന്നാൽ അത്യുന്നതനായ ദൈവത്തിന്റെ വിശുദ്ധന്മാർ രാജത്വം പ്രാപിച്ച് സദാകാലത്തേക്കും രാജത്വം അനുഭവിക്കും.
19 Then I desired to know the true meaning concerning the fourth animal, which was different from all of them, exceedingly terrible, whose teeth were of iron, and its claws of bronze; which devoured, broke in pieces, and stamped what was left with its feet.
൧൯എന്നാൽ മറ്റ് സകലമൃഗങ്ങളിലുംവച്ച് വ്യത്യാസമുള്ളതും ഇരിമ്പുപല്ലും താമ്രനഖങ്ങളും ഉള്ളതായി അതിഭയങ്കരമായതും തിന്നുകയും തകർക്കുകയും ശേഷിച്ചത് കാൽ കൊണ്ട് ചവിട്ടിക്കളയുകയും ചെയ്ത നാലാമത്തെ മൃഗത്തെക്കുറിച്ചും,
20 And concerning the ten horns that were on its head, and the other horn which came up, and before which three fell, even that horn that had eyes, and a mouth that spoke arrogant things, whose look was larger than the others.
൨൦അതിന്റെ തലയിലുള്ള പത്ത് കൊമ്പുകളെക്കുറിച്ചും, മുളച്ചുവന്ന മൂന്ന് കൊമ്പുകളെ വീഴിച്ച, കണ്ണും വമ്പു പറയുന്ന വായും ഉള്ള, മറ്റുകൊമ്പുകളേക്കാൾ കാഴ്ചയ്ക്ക് വലിപ്പമേറിയ കൊമ്പിനെക്കുറിച്ചും അറിയുവാൻ ഞാൻ ഇച്ഛിച്ചു.
21 I saw, and the same horn made war with the holy ones, and prevailed against them,
൨൧പുരാതനനായ ദൈവം വന്ന് അത്യുന്നതനായ ദൈവത്തിന്റെ വിശുദ്ധന്മാർക്ക് ന്യായവിധിയ്ക്ക് അധികാരം നല്കുകയും വിശുദ്ധന്മാർ രാജത്വം അവകാശമാക്കുന്ന കാലം വരുകയും ചെയ്യുവോളം
22 until the Ancient of Days came, and judgment was given to the holy ones of the Most High, and the time came that the holy ones possessed the kingdom.
൨൨ആ കൊമ്പ് വിശുദ്ധന്മാരോട് യുദ്ധം ചെയ്ത് അവരെ ജയിക്കുന്നത് ഞാൻ കണ്ടു.
23 This he said, 'The fourth animal shall be a fourth kingdom on earth, which shall be different from all the kingdoms, and shall devour the whole earth, and shall tread it down, and break it in pieces.
൨൩അവൻ പറഞ്ഞതോ: “നാലാമത്തെ മൃഗം ഭൂമിയിൽ നാലാമതായി ഉത്ഭവിക്കുവാനുള്ള രാജ്യം തന്നെ; അത് സകലരാജ്യങ്ങളിൽ നിന്നും വ്യത്യസ്തമായി, സർവ്വഭൂമിയെയും കടിച്ചുകീറുകയും ചവിട്ടിത്തകർത്തുകളയുകയും ചെയ്യും.
24 As for the ten horns, out of this kingdom shall ten kings arise, and another shall arise after them; and he shall be diverse from the former, and he shall put down three kings.
൨൪ഈ രാജ്യത്തുനിന്നുള്ള പത്ത് കൊമ്പുകളോ എഴുന്നേല്ക്കുവാനിരിക്കുന്ന പത്ത് രാജാക്കന്മാരാകുന്നു; അവരുടെ ശേഷം മറ്റൊരുത്തൻ എഴുന്നേല്ക്കും; അവൻ മുമ്പുള്ളവരിൽനിന്ന് വ്യത്യസ്തനായി മൂന്ന് രാജാക്കന്മാരെ വീഴ്ത്തിക്കളയും.
25 He shall speak words against the Most High, and shall oppress the holy ones of the Most High; and he shall think to change the times and the law; and they shall be given over to him until a time and times and half a time.
൨൫അവൻ അത്യുന്നതന് വിരോധമായി വമ്പു പറയുകയും അത്യുന്നതനായ ദൈവത്തിന്റെ വിശുദ്ധന്മാരെ ഒടുക്കിക്കളയുകയും സമയങ്ങളും നിയമങ്ങളും മാറ്റുവാൻ ശ്രമിക്കുകയും ചെയ്യും; കാലവും കാലങ്ങളും കാലാംശവും അവന്റെ കയ്യിൽ ഏല്പിക്കപ്പെടും.
26 And the court shall sit in judgment, and they shall take away his dominion, consumed and completely destroyed forever.
൨൬എന്നാൽ ന്യായവിസ്താരസഭ ഇരുന്ന് അവന്റെ ആധിപത്യം എടുത്തുകളഞ്ഞ് അത് നശിപ്പിച്ച് മുടിക്കും.
27 The kingdom and the dominion, and the greatness of the kingdoms under the whole heaven, shall be given to the people of the holy ones of the Most High. His kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and all dominions shall serve and obey him.'
൨൭പിന്നെ രാജത്വവും ആധിപത്യവും ആകാശത്തിൻ കീഴിൽ എല്ലായിടത്തുമുള്ള രാജ്യങ്ങളുടെ മഹത്ത്വവും അത്യുന്നതനായ ദൈവത്തിന്റെ വിശുദ്ധന്മാരായ ജനത്തിന് ലഭിക്കും; അവന്റെ രാജത്വം നിത്യരാജത്വം ആകുന്നു; സകല ആധിപത്യങ്ങളും അവനെ സേവിച്ചനുസരിക്കും.
28 Here is the end of the matter. As for me, Daniel, my thoughts troubled me greatly, and my face turned pale. I kept the matter to myself."
൨൮ഇങ്ങനെയാകുന്നു കാര്യത്തിന്റെ സമാപ്തി; ദാനീയേൽ എന്ന ഞാൻ എന്റെ വിചാരങ്ങളാൽ അത്യന്തം പരവശനായി; എന്റെ മുഖഭാവവും മാറി; എങ്കിലും ഞാൻ ആ കാര്യം എന്റെ ഹൃദയത്തിൽ സംഗ്രഹിച്ചുവച്ചു”.
