Acts 10
1 Now there was a certain man in Caesarea, Cornelius by name, a centurion of what was called the Italian Regiment,
၁ကဲသရိမြို့၌ ဣတလိတပ်ဟု ခေါ်ဝေါ်သော တပ်တွင် လူတရာ ကိုအုပ်ချုပ်သော တပ်မှူးကော်နေလိ အမည် တွင်သော သူတယောက်ရှိ ၏။
2 a devout man, and one who feared God with all his house, who gave gifts for the needy generously to the people, and always prayed to God.
၂ထိုသူသည် မိမိအိမ်တွင်ရှိသမျှသော သူတို့နှင့်တကွ ဘုရားဝတ်၌ မွေ့လျော်၍ ဘုရားသခင်ကို ကြောက်ရွံ့ခြင်းရှိသဖြင့် လူတို့အားများစွာသော စွန့်ကြဲ ခြင်းကိုပြု၍ ဘုရားသခင်ကို အစဉ်ဆုတောင်းလေ့ရှိ၏။
3 At about three in the afternoon, he clearly saw in a vision an angel of God coming to him, and saying to him, "Cornelius."
၃တနေ့သ၌ နေသုံးချက်တီးအချိန်တွင် ဘုရား သခင်၏ ကောင်းကင်တမန်သည်၊ ကော်နေလိဟု ခေါ်လျက် ရောက်လာသည်ကို ထိုသူသည် ထင်ရှားသော ဗျာဒိတ်ရူပါရုံအားဖြင့် မြင်ရ၏။
4 He, fastening his eyes on him, and being frightened, said, "What is it, Lord?" He said to him, "Your prayers and your gifts to the needy have gone up for a memorial before God.
၄ကောင်းကင်တမန်ကို စေ့စေ့ကြည့်လျှင် ထိတ်လန့်ခြင်းရှိသည် ဖြစ်၍၊ သခင်၊ အဘယ်အခင်းရှိပါ သနည်းဟု မေးသော်၊ ကောင်းကင် တမန်က၊ သင်ပြု သောဆုတောင်းပဌနာနှင့် စွန့်ကြဲပေးကမ်းခြင်းတို့သည် ဘုရားသခင့်ရှေ့တော်၌ အောက်မေ့စရာဘို့တက်ကြပြီ။
5 Now send men to Joppa, and bring one Shim'on who is surnamed Peter.
၅ထိုကြောင့် ယခုပင်ယုပွေမြို့သို့ လူတို့ကိုစေလွှတ်၍၊ ပေတရု အမည်သစ်ကိုရသော ရှိမုန်ကိုခေါ်ပင့်လော့။
6 He lodges with one Shim'on, a tanner, whose house is by the sea."
၆ထိုသူသည်သားရေလုပ်သမားရှိမုန်၏ အိမ်၌ တည်းနေ၏။ ထိုအိမ်သည် ပင်လယ်နားမှာ ရှိသည်ဟု ပြောဆို၏။
7 When the angel who spoke to him had departed, he called two of his household servants and a devout soldier of those who waited on him continually.
၇ထိုသို့ပြောဆိုသော ကောင်းကင်တမန်သွားပြီးမှ၊ ကော်နေလိသည် မိမိငယ်သားနှစ်ယောက်နှင့်တကွ မိမိထံ၌ မပြတ်ခစားသောလူစု အဝင်၊ ဘုရားဝတ်၌ မွေ့လျော်သော စစ်သူရဲတယောက်ကိုခေါ်၍၊
8 Having explained everything to them, he sent them to Joppa.
၈ထိုအကြောင်းအရာအလုံးစုံတို့ကို ကြားပြောပြီးမှ ယုပွေမြို့သို့ စေလွှတ်၏။
9 Now on the next day as they were on their journey, and got close to the city, Peter went up on the housetop to pray at about noon.
၉နက်ဖြန်နေ့၌ ထိုသူတို့သည် သွား၍ ယုပွေမြို့ အနီးသို့ ရောက်ကြသောအခါ၊ နှစ်ချက်တီးအချိန်တွင် ပေတရုသည် ဆုတောင်းခြင်း ငှါအိမ်မိုးပေါ်သို့ တက်လေ ၏။
10 He became hungry and desired to eat, but while they were preparing, he fell into a trance.
၁၀ဆာမွတ်၍ အစာအာဟာရကို အလိုရှိလျှင် သူတပါးတို့သည် အစာအာဟာရကို ပြင်ဆင်ကြစဉ်အခါ ပေတရုသည် ဘဝင်ဖြစ်၍ နေသဖြင့်၊
11 He saw heaven opened and a certain container descending to him, like a great sheet let down by four corners on the earth,
၁၁ကောင်းကင်ဖွင့်လှစ်သည်ကို၎င်း၊ ခြုံထည်ကဲ့သို့ လေးထောင့် ချုပ်၍ မြေသို့ချလွှတ်သော တန်ဆာသည် မိမိဆီသို့ဆင်းသက်လာသည် ကို၎င်းမြင်လေ၏။
12 in which were all kinds of four-footed animals of the earth, crawling creatures and birds of the sky.
၁၂ထိုတန်ဆာထဲ၌ သားရဲမှစ၍မြေ၌ကျင်လည် သောသားမျိုး၊ တွားတတ်သော တိရစ္ဆာန်မျိုး၊ မိုဃ်း ကောင်းကင်၌ ကျင်လည်သော ငှက်မျိုး တို့သည်ရှိကြ၏။
13 A voice came to him, "Rise, Peter, kill and eat."
၁၃စကားအသံသည်လည်း၊ ပေတရုထ၍ သတ်စား လော့ဟု လာ၏။
14 But Peter said, "Not so, Lord; for I have never eaten anything that is common or unclean."
၁၄ပေတရုကလည်း၊ မဖြစ်နိုင်ပါသခင်။ ညစ်ညူး သောအရာနှင့် မစင်ကြယ်သောအရာကို အကျွန်ုပ်သည် တရံတခါမျှ မစားဘူးပါဟု ပြောဆို၏။
15 A voice came to him again the second time, "What God has cleansed, you must not call unclean."
၁၅နောက်တဖန် စကားသံကား၊ ဘုရားသခင် စင်ကြယ်စေတော် မူသောအရာကို ညစ်ညူးသည်မထင် နှင့်ဟု လာပြန်၏။
16 This was done three times, and immediately the vessel was received up into heaven.
၁၆ထိုသို့ သုံးကြိမ်မြောက်အောင်လာပြီးလျှင်၊ ထိုတန်ဆာကို ကောင်းကင်ထဲသို့ သိမ်းရုပ်ပြန်လေ၏။
17 Now while Peter was very perplexed within himself what the vision which he had seen might mean, look, the men who were sent by Cornelius, having made inquiry for Shim'on's house, stood before the gate,
၁၇ပေတရုသည် မိမိမြင်ရသော ဗျာဒိတ်ရူပါရုံ ကား၊ အဘယ်သို့ ဆိုလိုသနည်းဟု တွေးတောဆင်ခြင်၍ နေစဉ်တွင်၊ ကော်နေလိစေလွှတ် သောသူတို့သည် ရှိမုန်အိမ်ကို မေးမြန်းရှာဖွေ၍ တံခါးရှေ့မှာရပ်လျက်၊
18 and called and asked whether Shim'on, who was surnamed Peter, was lodging there.
၁၈ပေတရုအမည်သစ်ကိုရသော ရှိမုန်သည် ဤမှာတည်းနေပါ သလောဟု မေးမြန်းဟစ်ခေါ်ကြ၏။
19 While Peter was pondering the vision, the Ruach said to him, "Look, three men seek you.
၁၉ပေတရုသည်ထိုဗျာဒိတ်ရူပါရုကို ဆင်ခြင်၍နေစဉ်တွင် ဝိညာဉ်တော်က၊ လူသုံးယောက်တို့သည် သင့်ကိုရှာကြ၏။
20 But arise, get down, and go with them, doubting nothing; for I have sent them."
၂၀ထ၍ဆင်းလော့။ တွေးတောခြင်းမရှိဘဲ ထိုသူတို့နှင့်အတူ လိုက်သွားလော့။ အကြောင်းမူကား၊ ထိုသူတို့သည် ငါစေလွှတ်သော သူဖြစ်ကြသည်ဟု မိန့်တော်မူလျှင်၊
21 And Peter went down to the men, and said, "Look, I am the one whom you seek. Why have you come?"
၂၁ပေတရုသည်ဆင်း၍၊ ငါကား၊ သင်တို့ရှာသော သူဖြစ်၏။ အဘယ်အကြောင်းရှိ၍ လာကြသနည်းဟု ထိုသူတို့အားမေး၏။
22 They said, "Cornelius, a centurion, a righteous man and one who fears God, and well spoken of by all the Jewish nation, was directed by a holy angel to invite you to his house, and to listen to what you say."
၂၂ထိုသူတို့ကလည်း ဘုရားသခင်ကိုကြောက်ရွံ့၍၊ ယုဒလူ အပေါင်းတို့တွင် အသရေရှိသော သူတော်ကောင်း တည်းဟူသော တပ်မှူး ကော်နေလိသည်၊ ကိုယ်တော်ကို မိမိအိမ်သို့ခေါ်ပင့်၍ ကိုယ်တော်၏ စကားကို နားထောင် ရမည်အကြောင်း၊ သန့်ရှင်းသော ကောင်းကင်တမန် အားဖြင့် ဗျာဒိတ်တော်ကို ခံရပါသည်ဟု ပြန်ပြောကြ၏။
23 So he called them in and lodged them. On the next day he arose and went out with them, and some of the brothers from Joppa accompanied him.
၂၃ပေတရုသည်လည်းထိုသူတို့ကို အိမ်ထဲသို့ခေါ်၍ ဧည့်သည်ဝတ် ကိုပြုလေ၏။ နက်ဖြန်နေ့၌ထ၍ ထိုသူတို့ နှင့်အတူ သွားသဖြင့်၊ ယုပွေ မြို့သားဖြစ်သော ညီအစ်ကို အချို့တို့သည် လိုက်ကြ၏။
24 On the next day he entered into Caesarea. Cornelius was waiting for them, having called together his relatives and his near friends.
၂၄ထိုနောက်တနေ့၌ ကဲသရိမြို့သို့ဝင်ကြ၍၊ ကော်နေလိသည် မိမိ အဆွေအမျိုး မိတ်ခင်ပွန်းများတို့ကို စုဝေးစေပြီးလျှင်၊ ထိုသူတို့ကို မြော်လင့်လျက်နေကြ၏။
25 When it happened that Peter entered, Cornelius met him, fell down at his feet, and worshiped him.
၂၅ပေတရုရောက်လာသောအခါ ကော်နေလိသည် ခရီးဦးကြိုပြု၍၊ ပေတရု၏ခြေရင်း၌ပြပ်ဝပ်လျက် ကိုးကွယ်လေ၏။
26 But Peter raised him up, saying, "Stand up. I myself am also a man."
၂၆ပေတရုသည် သူ့ကိုချီပင့်လျက်၊ ထလော့။ ငါကိုယ်တိုင် လူဖြစ်သည်ဟုဆို၏။
27 And as he talked with him, he went in and found many gathered together.
၂၇ထိုသို့နှုတ်ဆက်၍ ဝင်လေသော် စုဝေးလျက်ရှိ ကြသော လူများကိုတွေ့လျှင်၊
28 He said to them, "You yourselves know how it is an unlawful thing for a man who is a Jew to join himself or come to one of another nation, but God has shown me that I should not call any man unholy or unclean.
၂၈ပေတရုက၊ ယုဒလူဖြစ်သောသူတို့သည် တပါး အမျိုးသားတို့နှင့် မပေါင်းတော် မချည်းကပ်အပ်သည်ကို သင်တို့သိကြ၏။ သို့သော်လည်း ညစ်ညူးသည် မစင်ကြယ် ဟု အဘယ်သူကိုမျှ မခေါ်ရမည်အကြောင်း၊ ဘုရားသခင် သည်၊ ငါ့အားဆုံးမပြသတော်မူပြီ။
29 Therefore also I came without complaint when I was sent for. I ask therefore, why did you send for me?"
၂၉ထိုကြောင့်ငါ့ကိုခေါ်ကြသောအခါ ငါသည် မငြင်းမခုံဘဲလျက် လာ၏။ သို့ဖြစ်၍ အဘယ်အကြောင်း ကြောင့် ငါ့ကိုခေါ်ကြသနည်း၊ ငါမေးလိုသည်ဟု ထိုသူတို့ အားပြောဆို၏။
30 Cornelius said, "Four days ago until this hour, at three in the afternoon, I was praying in my house, and look, a man stood before me in bright clothing,
၃၀ကော်နေလိကလည်း၊ အကျွန်ုပ်သည် ယခု အချိန် နာရီတိုင်အောင် အစာရှောင်၍ သုံးချက်တီး အချိန်တွင် အိမ်၌ဆုတောင်းလျက် နေသည်၊ ယခု လေးရက်ရှိပါပြီ။ ထိုအချိန်၌ လူတယောက်သည် ထွန်းတောက်သောအဝတ်ကို ဝတ်လျက် အကျွန်ုပ် ရှေ့မှောက်၌ရပ်၍၊
31 and said, 'Cornelius, your prayer is heard, and your gifts to the needy are remembered in the sight of God.
၃၁ကော်နေလိ၊ သင်ပြုသောပဌနာကို ဘုရားသခင်သည် ကြား၍၊ သင်စွန့်ကြဲခြင်းကိုလည်း မှတ်တော်မူပြီ။
32 Send therefore to Joppa, and summon Shim'on, who is surnamed Peter. He lodges in the house of Shim'on, a tanner, by the sea.'
၃၂ထိုကြောင့်ယုပွေမြို့သို့စေလွှတ်၍ ပေတရု အမည်သစ်ကို ရသော ရှိမုန်ကို ခေါ်ပင့်လော့။ ထိုသူသည် ပင်လယ်နားမှာ သားရေလုပ် သမားရှိမုန်၏ အိမ်၌တည်း နေ၏။ ထိုသူသည်ရောက်လာလျှင် သင့်အား ဟောပြော လိမ့်မည်ဟုပြောဆိုပါ၏။
33 Therefore I sent to you at once, and it was good of you to come. Now therefore we are all here present in the sight of God to hear all things that have been commanded you by the Lord."
၃၃ထိုကြောင့် အကျွန်ုပ်သည် ကိုယ်တော်ထံသို့ အလျင်အမြန် စေလွှတ်၍၊ ကိုယ်တော်သည် ကြွလာသော အားဖြင့် ကောင်းမွန်စွာပြုပါ ပြီ။ သို့ဖြစ်၍ ဘုရားသခင် သည် ကိုယ်တော်၌မှာထားတော်မူသမျှကို နားထောင် ခြင်းငှါ၊ ယခုအကျွန်ုပ်တို့ရှိသမျှသည် ဘုရားသခင် ရှေ့တော်၌ အသင့်နေကြပါသည်ဟု ကော်နေလိ ပြောဆို၏။
34 And Peter opened his mouth and said, "Truly I perceive that God does not show favoritism;
၃၄ထိုအခါပေတရုသည် နှုတ်ကိုဖွင့်၍၊ အကယ် စင်စစ် ဘုရား သခင်သည် လူမျက်နှာကို မှတ်တော်မမူ။
35 but in every nation he who fears him and works righteousness is acceptable to him.
၃၅လူအမျိုးမျိုးတို့တွင် ဘုရားသခင်ကို ကြောက်ရွံ့ ၍ တရားသဖြင့် ကျင့်ဆောင်သောသူသည် အထံတော်၌ မျက်နှာရသည်ကို ငါသိမြင်၏။
36 The word which he sent to the children of Israel, proclaiming good news of peace by Yeshua the Messiah—he is Lord of all—
၃၆အလုံးစုံတို့ကို အစိုးရတော်မူသော သခင်ယေရှု ခရစ်အားဖြင့် ရန်ငြိမ်းခြင်းတရားတည်းဟူသော ဧဝံ ဂေလိတရားကို ဟောတော်မူလျက်၊ ဣသရေလ အမျိုး သား တို့အား ပေးလိုက်တော်မူသော တရားတော်နှင့် အညီ၊
37 that spoken word you yourselves know, which was proclaimed throughout all Judea, beginning from Galil, after the immersion which John preached;
၃၇ယောဟန်သည် ဗတ္တိဇံတရားကို ဟောသည် နောက် ဂါလိလဲ ပြည်မှစ၍ ယုဒပြည်အရပ်ရပ်တို့၌ နှံ့ပြားသော အကြောင်းအရာကို သင်တို့သည် သိကြ၏။
38 even Yeshua of Natzeret, how God anointed him with the Ruach ha-Kodesh and with power, who went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with him.
၃၈ထိုအကြောင်းအရာဟူမူကား၊ ဘုရားသခင်သည် သန့်ရှင်းသော ဝိညာဉ်တော်နှင့်၎င်း၊ တန်ခိုးတော်နှင့်၎င်း၊ နာဇရက်မြို့သား ယေရှုကို ဘိသိက်ပေးတော်မူသဖြင့်၊ ထိုသူသည် ဘုရားသခင်၏ အခွင့်တော်နှင့် ကျေးဇူးပြုလျက်၊ မာရ်နတ်ညှဉ်းဆဲသော သူအပေါင်းတို့အား ချမ်းသာကို ပေးလျက် လှည့်လည်တော်မူ၏။
39 We are witnesses of everything he did both in the land of the Jews and in Jerusalem, whom they also killed by hanging on a tree.
၃၉ငါတို့သည်လည်း၊ ယေရုရှလင်မြို့မှစ၍ ယုဒ ပြည်တွင်ပြုတော် မူသောအမှုများတို့၏ သက်သေခံ ဖြစ်ကြ၏။ ထိုသူကိုသစ်တိုင်၌ ဆွဲ၍ ကွပ်မျက်ကြလေ၏။
40 God raised him up the third day, and gave him to be revealed,
၄၀သုံးရက်မြောက်သောနေ့၌ ဘုရားသခင်သည် ထမြောက် စေတော်မူ၍၊
41 not to all the people, but to witnesses who were chosen before by God, to us, who ate and drank with him after he rose from the dead.
၄၁လူအပေါင်းတို့အား ထင်ရှားစွာပြတော်မမူ၊ ဘုရားသခင်ခန့် ထားတော်မူနှင့်သော သက်သေခံတည်း ဟူသော ငါတို့အား ထင်ရှားစွာ ပြတော်မူ၏။ သေခြင်းမှ ထမြောက်တော်မူသည်နောက်၊ ထိုသခင်နှင့် အတူ ငါတို့သည်စားသောက်ရကြ၏။
42 He commanded us to preach to the people and to testify that this is the one who is appointed by God as the judge of the living and the dead.
၄၂ထိုသခင်သည်လည်း အသက်ရှင်သောသူတို့နှင့် သေသော သူတို့ကို တရားစီရင်သောသခင်ဖြစ်စေခြင်းငှါ၊ ဘုရားသခင်ခန့်ထားတော် မူကြောင်းကို လူအပေါင်းတို့အား ဟောပြောကြလော့။ သက်သေခံကြ လော့ဟု ငါတို့အားပညတ်ထားတော်မူ၏။
43 All the prophets testify about him, that through his name everyone who believes in him receives forgiveness of sins."
၄၃ထိုသခင်ကို ယုံကြည်သောသူရှိသမျှတို့သည် နာမတော် အားဖြင့် အပြစ်လွှတ်တော်မူခြင်း ကျေးဇူးကို ခံရကြလတံ့ဟူ၍ မရောဖက် အပေါင်းတို့သည် ထိုသခင် ၏ သက်သေခံဖြစ်ကြသည်ဟု ပေတရုမြွက် ဆို၏။
44 While Peter was still speaking these words, the Ruach ha-Kodesh fell on all those who heard the word.
၄၄ထိုစကားကို မြွက်ဆိုစဉ်၊ နှုတ်ကပတ်တရား တော်ကို ကြားနာရသော သူအပေါင်းတို့အပေါ်သို့ သန့်ရှင်းသောဝိညာဉ်တော်သည် သက်ရောက်တော်မူ၏။
45 They of the circumcision who believed were amazed, as many as came with Peter, because the gift of the Ruach ha-Kodesh was also poured out on the non-Jewish people.
၄၅တပါးအမျိုးသားတို့ အပေါ်သို့သန့်ရှင်းသော ဝိညာဉ်တော်၏ ကျေးဇူးကိုသွန်းလောင်းသောကြောင့်၊ အရေဖျားလှီးခြင်းကို ခံသောသူ တည်းဟူသော ပေတရု နှင့် ပါသမျှသော တပည့်တော်တို့သည် မိန်းမော တွေဝေခြင်းရှိကြ၏။
46 For they heard them speaking in other tongues and magnifying God. Then Peter answered,
၄၆အကြောင်းမူကား၊ ထိုသူတို့သည် အမျိုးမျိုးသော ဘာသာစကား အားဖြင့်ပြော၍၊ ဘုရားသခင်ကို ချီးမွမ်း သည်ကိုကြားကြလေ၏။
47 "Can anyone withhold the water, that these who have received the Ruach ha-Kodesh as well as we should not be immersed?"
၄၇ထိုအခါကေတရုက၊ ငါတို့ကဲ့သို့ သန့်ရှင်းသော ဝိညာဉ်တော် ကိုခံရသော ဤသူတို့ကို ဗတ္တိဇံ မပေးစေ ခြင်းငှါ အဘယ်သူသည် ရေကို မြစ်တားနိုင်သနည်း ဟုဆိုလျက်၊
48 He commanded them to be immersed in the name of Yeshua the Messiah. Then they asked him to stay some days.
၄၈သခင်ဘုရား၏နာမ၌ ဗတ္တိဇံကို ခံစေမည် အကြောင်းစီရင် လေ၏။ ထိုနောက်မှပေတရုသည် ကာလအတန်အရာနေပါမည် အကြောင်းကို ထိုသူတို့ သည် တောင်းပန်ကြ၏။
