2 Timothy 4

1 I command you therefore before God and Messiah Yeshua, who will judge the living and the dead, and by his appearing and his Kingdom:

ജീവിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നവരെയും മരിച്ചവരെയും ന്യായംവിധിച്ച് തിരുരാജ്യം സ്ഥാപിക്കാൻ പ്രത്യക്ഷനാകുന്ന ദൈവത്തിന്റെയും ക്രിസ്തുയേശുവിന്റെയും സന്നിധിയിൽ ഞാൻ നിന്നോട് ആജ്ഞാപിക്കുകയാണ്:

2 preach the word; be urgent in season and out of season; reprove, rebuke, and exhort, with all patience and teaching.

തിരുവചനം ഘോഷിക്കുക; അനുകൂലസമയത്തും പ്രതികൂലസമയത്തും അതിന് സന്നദ്ധനായിരിക്കുക. വളരെ ക്ഷമയോടെ ഉപദേശിച്ചുകൊണ്ട് തെറ്റുകൾ ചൂണ്ടിക്കാണിക്കുക, ശാസിക്കുക, പ്രോത്സാഹിപ്പിക്കുക.

3 For the time will come when they will not listen to the sound doctrine, but, having itching ears, will heap up for themselves teachers after their own lusts;

മനുഷ്യർ നിർമലോപദേശം ഉൾക്കൊള്ളാൻ വിമുഖരായിട്ട് തങ്ങളുടെ അഭിരുചിക്കനുസൃതമായി ഇമ്പമുള്ള കാര്യങ്ങൾ പറഞ്ഞുകേൾപ്പിക്കുന്ന ഉപദേഷ്ടാക്കളെ വിളിച്ചുകൂട്ടുന്ന കാലം വരും.

4 and will turn away their ears from the truth, and turn aside to myths.

അന്ന് അവർ സത്യത്തിനു പുറംതിരിഞ്ഞ്, കെട്ടുകഥകളിലേക്കു ശ്രദ്ധതിരിക്കും.

5 But you be sober in all things, endure hardship, do the work of an evangelist, fulfill your ministry.

നീയോ സകലത്തിലും ആത്മസംയമനം പാലിക്കുക, കഷ്ടത സഹിക്കുക, ഒരു സുവിശേഷകന്റെ പ്രവൃത്തിചെയ്യുക, നിന്റെ ശുശ്രൂഷ പരിപൂർണമായി നിർവഹിക്കുക.

6 For I am already being offered, and the time of my departure has come.

ഞാൻ ഇപ്പോൾത്തന്നെ പാനീയയാഗമായി അർപ്പിക്കപ്പെട്ടുകൊണ്ടിരിക്കുന്നു; എന്റെ അന്തിമയാത്രയ്ക്കുള്ള സമയവും ആസന്നമായിരിക്കുന്നു.

7 I have fought the good fight. I have finished the course. I have kept the faith.

ഞാൻ നന്നായി യുദ്ധംചെയ്തു; ഓട്ടം പൂർത്തിയാക്കി; അവസാനംവരെ ഞാൻ വിശ്വാസം സംരക്ഷിച്ചു.

8 From now on, there is stored up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, will give to me on that day; and not to me only, but also to all those who have loved his appearing.

ഇനി, നീതിയുടെ കിരീടം എനിക്കായി കാത്തിരിക്കുന്നു. അത്, നീതിയുള്ള ന്യായാധിപതിയായ കർത്താവ് അന്നാളിൽ എനിക്കു സമ്മാനിക്കും; എനിക്കുമാത്രമല്ല, അവിടത്തെ പുനരാഗമനത്തിനായി ആകാംക്ഷയോടെ കാത്തിരിക്കുന്ന എല്ലാവർക്കുംതന്നെ.

9 Be diligent to come to me soon,

10 for Demas left me, having loved this present world, and went to Thessalonica; Crescens to Galatia, and Titus to Dalmatia. (aiōn g165)

11 Only Luke is with me. Take Mark, and bring him with you, for he is useful to me for service.

ലൂക്കോസുമാത്രമാണ് എന്നോടുകൂടെയുള്ളത്. മർക്കോസിനെ നീ കൂട്ടിക്കൊണ്ടുവരിക; അയാൾ എന്റെ ശുശ്രൂഷയിൽ എനിക്കു പ്രയോജനമുള്ളവനാണ്.

12 But I sent Tychicus to Ephesus.

തിഹിക്കൊസിനെ ഞാൻ എഫേസോസിലേക്ക് അയച്ചിരിക്കുകയാണ്.

13 Bring the cloak that I left at Troas with Carpus when you come, and the books, especially the parchments.

നീ വരുമ്പോൾ, ത്രോവാസിൽ കാർപ്പൊസിന്റെ അടുക്കൽ ഞാൻ വെച്ചിട്ടുപോന്ന പുറംകുപ്പായവും പുസ്തകങ്ങളും വിശേഷാൽ ചർമലിഖിതങ്ങളും കൊണ്ടുവരണം.

14 Alexander, the coppersmith, did much evil to me. The Lord will repay him according to his works,

15 of whom you also must beware; for he greatly opposed our words.

16 At my first defense, no one came to help me, but all left me. May it not be held against them.

17 But the Lord stood by me, and strengthened me, that through me the message might be fully proclaimed, and that all the non-Jewish people might hear; and I was delivered out of the mouth of the lion.

18 And the Lord will deliver me from every evil deed, and will bring me safely into his heavenly kingdom. To him be the glory forever and ever. Amen. (aiōn g165)

19 Greet Prisca and Aquila, and the house of Onesiphorus.

20 Erastus remained at Corinth, and I left Trophimus at Miletus, ill.

21 Be diligent to come before winter. Eubulus salutes you, as do Pudens, Linus, Claudia, and all the brothers.

22 The Lord be with your spirit. Grace be with you.

കർത്താവ് നിന്റെ ആത്മാവോടുകൂടെ ഉണ്ടാകുമാറാകട്ടെ. അവിടത്തെ കൃപ നിങ്ങൾ എല്ലാവരോടുംകൂടെ ഉണ്ടാകുമാറാകട്ടെ.
