2 Timothy 3
1 But know this, that in the last days terrible times will come.
චරමදිනේෂු ක්ලේශජනකාඃ සමයා උපස්ථාස්‍යන්තීති ජානීහි|
2 For people will be lovers of self, lovers of money, boastful, arrogant, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,
යතස්තාත්කාලිකා ලෝකා ආත්මප්‍රේමිණෝ (අ)ර්ථප්‍රේමිණ ආත්මශ්ලාඝිනෝ (අ)භිමානිනෝ නින්දකාඃ පිත්‍රෝරනාඥාග්‍රාහිණඃ කෘතඝ්නා අපවිත්‍රාඃ
3 unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, hateful of good,
ප්‍රීතිවර්ජිතා අසන්ධේයා මෘෂාපවාදිනෝ (අ)ජිතේන්ද්‍රියාඃ ප්‍රචණ්ඩා භද්‍රද්වේෂිණෝ
4 treacherous, reckless, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God;
විශ්වාසඝාතකා දුඃසාහසිනෝ දර්පධ්මාතා ඊශ්වරාප්‍රේමිණඃ කින්තු සුඛප්‍රේමිණෝ
5 holding a form of godliness, but having denied the power thereof. Turn away from these, also.
භක්තවේශාඃ කින්ත්වස්වීකෘතභක්තිගුණා භවිෂ්‍යන්ති; ඒතාදෘශානාං ලෝකානාං සංමර්ගං පරිත්‍යජ|
6 For among them are those who crawl into households and take captive weak-willed women weighed down with sins, led away by various passions and pleasures,
යතෝ යේ ජනාඃ ප්‍රච්ඡන්නං ගේහාන් ප්‍රවිශන්ති පාපෛ ර්භාරග්‍රස්තා නානාවිධාභිලාෂෛශ්චාලිතා යාඃ කාමින්‍යෝ
7 always learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.
නිත්‍යං ශික්‍ෂන්තේ කින්තු සත්‍යමතස්‍ය තත්ත්වඥානං ප්‍රාප්තුං කදාචිත් න ශක්නුවන්ති තා දාසීවද් වශීකුර්ව්වතේ ච තේ තාදෘශා ලෝකාඃ|
8 Even as Jannes and Jambres opposed Moses, so do these also oppose the truth; people corrupted in mind, disapproved concerning the faith.
යාන්නි ර‍්‍යාම්බ්‍රිශ්ච යථා මූසමං ප්‍රති විපක්‍ෂත්වම් අකුරුතාං තථෛව භ්‍රෂ්ටමනසෝ විශ්වාසවිෂයේ (අ)ග්‍රාහ්‍යාශ්චෛතේ ලෝකා අපි සත්‍යමතං ප්‍රති විපක්‍ෂතාං කුර්ව්වන්ති|
9 But they will proceed no further. For their folly will be evident to all, as theirs also was.
කින්තු තේ බහුදූරම් අග්‍රසරා න භවිෂ්‍යන්ති යතස්තයෝ ර්මූඪතා යද්වත් තද්වද් ඒතේෂාමපි මූඪතා සර්ව්වදෘශ්‍යා භවිෂ්‍යති|
10 But you did follow my teaching, conduct, purpose, faith, patience, love, steadfastness,
මමෝපදේශඃ ශිෂ්ටතාභිප්‍රායෝ විශ්වාසෝ ර්ධර‍්‍ය්‍යං ප්‍රේම සහිෂ්ණුතෝපද්‍රවඃ ක්ලේශා
11 persecutions, and sufferings: those things that happened to me at Antioch, Iconium, and Lystra. I endured those persecutions. Out of them all the Lord delivered me.
ආන්තියඛියායාම් ඉකනියේ ලූස්ත්‍රායාඤ්ච මාං ප්‍රති යද්‍යද් අඝටත යාංශ්චෝපද්‍රවාන් අහම් අසහේ සර්ව්වමේතත් ත්වම් අවගතෝ(අ)සි කින්තු තත්සර්ව්වතඃ ප්‍රභු ර්මාම් උද්ධෘතවාන්|
12 Yes, and all who desire to live godly in Messiah Yeshua will suffer persecution.
පරන්තු යාවන්තෝ ලෝකාඃ ඛ්‍රීෂ්ටේන යීශුනේශ්වරභක්තිම් ආචරිතුම් ඉච්ඡන්ති තේෂාං සර්ව්වේෂාම් උපද්‍රවෝ භවිෂ්‍යති|
13 But evil people and impostors will grow worse and worse, deceiving and being deceived.
අපරං පාපිෂ්ඨාඃ ඛලාශ්ච ලෝකා භ්‍රාම්‍යන්තෝ භ්‍රමයන්තශ්චෝත්තරෝත්තරං දුෂ්ටත්වේන වර්ද්ධිෂ්‍යන්තේ|
14 But you remain in the things which you have learned and have been assured of, knowing from whom you have learned them.
කින්තු ත්වං යද් යද් අශික්‍ෂථාඃ, යච්ච ත්වයි සමර්පිතම් අභූත් තස්මින් අවතිෂ්ඨ, යතඃ කස්මාත් ශික්‍ෂාං ප්‍රාප්තෝ(අ)සි තද් වේත්සි;
15 From infancy, you have known the holy Scriptures which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith, which is in Messiah Yeshua.
යානි ච ධර්ම්මශාස්ත්‍රාණි ඛ්‍රීෂ්ටේ යීශෞ විශ්වාසේන පරිත්‍රාණප්‍රාප්තයේ ත්වාං ඥානිනං කර්ත්තුං ශක්නුවන්ති තානි ත්වං ශෛශවකාලාද් අවගතෝ(අ)සි|
16 All Scripture is God-breathed and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness,
තත් සර්ව්වං ශාස්ත්‍රම් ඊශ්වරස්‍යාත්මනා දත්තං ශික්‍ෂායෛ දෝෂබෝධාය ශෝධනාය ධර්ම්මවිනයාය ච ඵලයූක්තං භවති
17 that the person of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.
තේන චේශ්වරස්‍ය ලෝකෝ නිපුණඃ සර්ව්වස්මෛ සත්කර්ම්මණේ සුසජ්ජශ්ච භවති|
