< 2 Kings 9 >
1 Elisha the prophet called one of the sons of the prophets, and said to him, "Put your belt on your waist, take this vial of oil in your hand, and go to Ramoth Gilead.
Tinoka’ i Elisà mpitokiy ty raik’ amo anam-pitokio, le hoe re ama’e: Diaño o toha’oo, le tintino an-taña’o ty paki-menake toy, vaho akia mb’e Ramote-gilade añe.
2 When you come there, find Jehu the son of Jehoshaphat the son of Nimshi, and go in, and make him arise up from among his brothers, and carry him to an inner room.
Ihe mivotrak’ eo, paiao t’Ieho ana’ Iehosafate, ana’ i Nimsý, le mimoaha ao vaho ampiongaho añivo’ o rahalahi’eo, le ampiziliho an-traño, añ’efe’e ao.
3 Then take the vial of oil, and pour it on his head, and say, 'Thus says the LORD, "I have anointed you king over Israel."' Then open the door, flee, and do not wait."
Rambeso amy zao i paki-menakey, le adoaño añambone’e eo vaho ano ty hoe: Hoe ty nafè’ Iehovà; fa norizako ho mpanjaka’ Israele irehe. Le sokafo i lalañey naho mivoratsaha vaho ko mihenekeneke.
4 So the young prophet went to Ramoth Gilead.
Aa le nihitrike mb’e Ramote-Gilade añe i ajalahy anam-pitokiy.
5 When he came, look, the captains of the army were sitting. Then he said, "I have a message for you, captain." Jehu said, "To which of us all?" He said, "To you, O captain."
Ie pok’eo, hehe te niambesatse eo o mpifehe’ i valobohòkeio; le hoe re; Nafantok’ ama’o iraho, ry mpifehe. Le hoe t’Ieho. Ama’ ia, amy zahay iaby toa? le hoe re: Ama’o, ry mpifehe.
6 He arose, and went into the house. Then he poured the oil on his head, and said to him, "Thus says the LORD, the God of Israel, 'I have anointed you king over the people of the LORD, even over Israel.
Aa le niongake re nimoak’ añ’ anjomba ao, le nadoa’e amy añ’ambone’ey i menakey, le nanoa’e ty hoe: Hoe ty nafè’ Iehovà, Andrianañahare’ Israele; fa norizako ho mpanjaka’ ondati’ Iehovào irehe, hifeleke Israele.
7 You shall strike the house of Ahab your master, that I may avenge the blood of my servants the prophets, and the blood of all the servants of the LORD, at the hand of Jezebel.
Le ho zevoñe’o ty anjomba’ i Akabe talè’o, hañavahako ty lio’ o mpitoroko mpitokio naho ze hene lio’ o mpitoro’ Iehovà am-pità’ Iizebeleo.
8 For the whole house of Ahab shall perish. I will cut off from Ahab everyone who urinates against a wall, both him who is shut up and him who is left at large in Israel.
Fonga havetrake ty anjomba’ i Akabe naho songa haitoako amy Akabe ze mamany an-kijoly ke t’ie mirohy he midada e Israele ao.
9 I will make the house of Ahab like the house of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, and like the house of Baasha the son of Ahijah.
Le hampanahafeko amy anjomba’ Iarovame ana’ i Nebate naho ty anjomba’ i Baasa ana’ i Akiiày ty anjomba’ i Akabe.
10 The dogs will eat Jezebel on the plot of ground of Jezreel, and there shall be none to bury her.'" He opened the door, and fled.
O amboao ty hihinañe Iizebele an-tete’ Iezreele ey le tsy eo ty handeveñe aze. Sinoka’e amy zao i lalañey le nibotatsake mb’eo.
11 Then Jehu came forth to the servants of his lord: and one said to him, "Is all well? Why did this mad fellow come to you?" He said to them, "You know the man and what his talk was."
Niavotse mb’amo mpitoro’ i talè’eio mb’eo t’Ieho; le hoe ty raik’ ama’e; Hene soa hao? Ino ty nomba’ i seretsey ama’o? le hoe re am’ iereo: Fohi’ areo indatiy naho i enta’ey.
12 They said, "That is a lie. Tell us now." He said, "He said to me, 'Thus says the LORD, I have anointed you king over Israel.'"
Le hoe iereo: Vande izay; ehe atalilio ama’ay. Le hoe re: Hoe zao naho zao ty nisaontsie’e ami’ty hoe; Hoe ty nafè’ Iehovà; fa norizako ho mpanjaka’ Israele irehe.
13 Then they hurried, and took every man his garment, and put it under him on the top of the stairs, and blew the trumpet, saying, "Jehu is king."
Nalisa amy zao, songa nangalake i sarimbo’ey, le nalafi’e ambane’e eo amy fanongà amboney, vaho pinopò’ iereo i antsivay le nanao ty hoe; Mpanjaka t’Ieho!
14 So Jehu the son of Jehoshaphat the son of Nimshi conspired against Joram. (Now Joram was keeping Ramoth Gilead, he and all Israel, because of Hazael king of Aram;
Aa le kinilili’ Ieho ana’ Iehosafate, ana’ i Nimsý t’Iorame—ie amy zao fa nañambeñe i Ramote-gilade t’Iorame, naho Israele iaby, ty amy Kazaele mpanjaka’ i Arame
15 but king Joram was returned to be healed in Jezreel of the wounds which the Arameans had given him, when he fought with Hazael king of Aram.) Jehu said, "If this is your thinking, then let no one escape and go out of the city, to go to tell it in Jezreel."
fe nimpoly mb’e Iezreele ao t’Iorame hijangaña’e amo fere natolo’ o nte-Arameo aze t’ie nialy amy Kazaele mpanjaka’ i Arameio. —Le hoe t’Ieho, Naho zao ty safiri’ areo, le ko apo’ areo ndra raike tsy hipoliotse boak’ an-drova hañitrike talily e Iezreele añe.
16 So Jehu rode in a chariot, and went to Jezreel; for Joram lay there. Ahaziah king of Judah had come down to see Joram.
Aa le nijoñ’an-tsarete t’Ieho, nimb’ e Iezreele mb’eo; amy te natindry ao t’Iorame; naho nizotso mb’eo ka t’i Ahkazià mpanjaka’ Iehodà hitilike Iorame.
17 Now the watchman was standing on the tower in Jezreel, and he spied the company of Jehu as he came, and said, "I see a company." Joram said, "Take a horseman, and send to meet them, and let him say, 'Is it peace?'"
Nahatalake i firimboña’ Iehoy ie nigodañe mb’eo ty mpijilo am-pitalakesañ’ abo’ Iezreele ey, le hoe re: Mahatrea mpirai-lia iraho. Le hoe t’Iorame, Angalao mpiningi-tsoavala vaho ampihitrifo hifanalaka am’ iereo, hanao ty hoe: An-kanintsiñe hao?
18 So there went one on horseback to meet him, and said, "Thus says the king, 'Is it peace?'" Jehu said, "What do you have to do with peace? Fall in behind me." The watchman said, "The messenger came to them, but he isn't coming back."
Aa le ninigitse an-tsoavala ty hifanalaka am’ iereo vaho nanao ty hoe: Hoe i mpanjakay: an-kanintsim-bao? Le hoe t’Ieho: Hanoe’o ino ze o fañanintsiñe zao? Miotaha mb’ ambohoko ao. Le hoe i mpijiloy; Niheo am’ iereo mb’eo i ìrakey fe tsy mimpoly.
19 Then he sent out a second on horseback, who came to them, and said, "Thus says the king, 'Is it peace?'" Jehu answered, "What do you have to do with peace? Fall in behind me."
Niraheñe an-tsoavala ka ty faharoe, ie pok’ ama’e eo le nanao ty hoe: Hoe i mpanjakay: Am-pañanintsiñe hao? le hoe ty natoi’ Ieho: Hanoe’o ino ze o fañanintsiñe zao? Miotaha mb’ ambohoko ao.
20 The watchman said, "He came to them, and isn't coming back. The driving is like the driving of Jehu the son of Nimshi; for he drives furiously."
Le hoe i mpijiloy: Nifanalaka’e, fe tsy mimpoly; toe manahake ty findesa’ Ieho ana’ i Nimsý i findesa’ey; ie mpitrantràñe.
21 Joram said, "Get ready." They got his chariot ready. Joram king of Israel and Ahaziah king of Judah went out, each in his chariot, and they went out to meet Jehu, and found him in the portion of Naboth the Jezreelite.
Le hoe t’Iorame, Halankaño! Le hinalanka’ iereo ty sarete’e: Aa le niavotse mb’eo t’Iorame mpanjaka’ Israele naho i Ahkazià mpanjaka’ Iehodà, songa an-tsarete’e, nionjomb’eo hifanalaka am’ Ieho, vaho nisalakaeñe an-tete’ i Nabote nte-Iezreele ey.
22 It happened, when Joram saw Jehu, that he said, "Is it peace, Jehu?" He answered, "What peace, so long as the prostitution of your mother Jezebel and her witchcraft abound?"
Ie amy zao, naho niisa’ Iehorame t’Ieho, le nanao ty hoe: an-kanintsiñe hao, ry Ieho? Le hoe ty natoi’e: Fañanintsiñ’ aia? kanao tsifotofoto o hakarapiloa’ Iizebele rene’oo naho o famoreha’eo?
23 Joram turned his hands, and fled, and said to Ahaziah, "There is treason, Ahaziah."
Nabali’ Iorame i sarete’ey le nitriban-day le nanoe’ ty hoe amy Ahkazià, Fitak’ ate ry Ahkazià.
24 Jehu drew his bow with his full strength, and shot Joram between his arms; and the arrow went out at his heart, and he sunk down in his chariot.
Fe nabitso’ Ieho an-kaozara’e iaby i fale’ey, naho trinofa’e an-tsakamamovo’e eo t’Iorame naho nipotitse ami’ty fo’e ao i ana-paley, vaho nitsingoritrìtse an-tsarete’e ao.
25 Then Jehu said to Bidkar his captain, "Pick him up, and throw him in the plot of the field of Naboth the Jezreelite; for I remember how when you and I rode together behind Ahab his father, the LORD pronounced this judgment on him:
Le hoe t’Ieho amy Bidkare, mpifehe’ey. Endeso, naho avokovokò an-tete’ i Nabote nte-Iezreele ao. Tiahio t’ie nihoridañen-tika t’i Akabe rae’e le hoe ty nitsarae’ Iehovà ty ama’e:
26 'Surely I have seen yesterday the blood of Naboth, and the blood of his sons,' says the LORD; 'and I will repay you in this plot of ground,' says the LORD. Now therefore take and cast him onto the plot of ground, according to the word of the LORD."
Toe nitreako omale ty lio’ i Nabote naho ty lio’ o ana’eo, hoe t’Iehovà, le havahako an-tetek’ atoy irehe, hoe t’Iehovà. Aa le endeso re avokovokò amy tetekey ty amy tsara’ Iehovà zay.
27 But when Ahaziah the king of Judah saw this, he fled by the way of the garden house. Jehu followed after him, and said, "Shoot him also." And they shot him in the chariot at the ascent of Gur, which is by Ibleam. He fled to Megiddo, and died there.
Ie niisa’ i Ahkazià mpanjaka’ Iehodà le nitsondemboke ty lay mb’ an-dala’ i trañon-goloboñey mb’eo, le nañorik’ aze t’Ieho, nanao ty hoe: Tomboho an-tsarete’e ao, ie ka, le nivoa amy fionjonam-be Gore mb’eo marine’ Ibleame ey naho niherereake mb’e Megidò mb’eo vaho nihomak’ao.
28 His servants carried him in a chariot to Jerusalem, and buried him in his tomb with his fathers in the City of David.
Nitakone’ o mpitoro’eo mb’e Ierosalaime mb’eo vaho nalenteke an-kiborin-droae’e an-drova’ i Davide ao.
29 In the eleventh year of Joram the son of Ahab began Ahaziah to reign over Judah.
An-taom-paha-folo-raik’ ambi’ Iorame ana’ i Akabe ty niorota’ i Ahkazià nifehe Iehodà.
30 When Jehu had come to Jezreel, Jezebel heard of it; and she painted her eyes, and attired her head, and looked out at the window.
Ie nivotrake e Iezreele ao t’Ieho, le tsinano’ Iizebele; le binatra’e o maso’eo naho sinatro’e i loha’ey, vaho nitilihitse an-dalan-kede.
31 As Jehu entered in at the gate, she said, "Do you come in peace, Zimri, you murderer of your master?"
Aa ie nimoak’ an-dalam-bey eo t’Ieho, le hoe i rakembay: Nampanintsiñañe hao t’i Zimrý t’ie namono i talè’ey?
32 He lifted up his face to the window, and said, "Who is on my side? Who?" Two or three eunuchs looked out at him.
Niandra laharañe mb’ amy lalan-kedey re nanao ty hoe: Ia ty mpiamako? Ia? Nitangarike ama’e ty mpiatrake telo ndra roe.
33 He said, "Throw her down." So they threw her down; and some of her blood was sprinkled on the wall, and on the horses. Then he trampled her under foot.
Le hoe re: Avokovokò. Aa le nafetsa’ iareo ambane naho nifitse amy rindriñey naho amo soavalao ty lio’e vaho nilialian-tomboke.
34 When he had come in, he ate and drink; and he said, "See now to this cursed woman, and bury her; for she is a king's daughter."
Ie nizilik’ ao naho nikama naho ninoñe; le hoe re, Ehe henteo i rakembam-pàtsey, le aleveño; amy t’ie anam-panjaka.
35 They went to bury her; but they found no more of her than the skull, and the feet, and the palms of her hands.
Aa ie nimb’ eo handeveñe aze, tsy nanjo naho tsy i haran-doha’ey naho o tombo’eo naho o lela-pità’eo,
36 Therefore they came back, and told him. He said, "This is the word of the LORD, which he spoke by his servant Elijah the Tishbite, saying, 'The dogs will eat the flesh of Jezebel on the plot of Jezreel,
le nimpoly iereo nitalily ama’e; le hoe re: Izay ty nitsara’ Iehovà nampisaontsie’e i mpitoro’e Elià nte-Tisbý, ty hoe: An-toe’ Iezreele eo ty hihinana’ o amboao ty nofo’ Iizebele;
37 and the body of Jezebel shall be as dung on the face of the field in the portion of Jezreel, so that they shall not say, "This is Jezebel."'"
vaho ho tay ambone’ ty toe’ Iezreeele eo ty lolo’e; tsy mone hatao’ ty hoe: Etoa t’Iizebele.
