< 2 Kings 13 >

1 In the three and twentieth year of Joash the son of Ahaziah, king of Judah, Jehoahaz the son of Jehu began to reign over Israel in Samaria for seventeen years.
Amy taom-paha-roapolo-telo’ ambi’ Iehoase ana’ i Ahkazià, mpanjaka’ Iehoday, ty namotora’ Iehoakaze ana’ Ieho nifeleke Israele e Somerone ao vaho nifeleke folo-taoñe fito’amby,
2 He did that which was evil in the sight of the LORD, and followed the sins of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, with which he made Israel to sin; he did not depart from it.
nanao haratiañe am-pivazohoa’ Iehovà, nañorike o hakeo’ Iarovame ana’ i Nebate nampanaña’e tahiñe Israeleo—tsy niviha’e.
3 The anger of the LORD was kindled against Israel, and he delivered them into the hand of Hazael king of Aram, and into the hand of Benhadad the son of Hazael, continually.
Le nisolebotse am’ Israele ty haviñera’ Iehovà, tolin-dra nainai’e nasese’e am-pità’ i Kazaele mpanjaka’ i Arame naho am-pità’ i Benehadade ana’ i Kazaele.
4 Jehoahaz begged the LORD, and the LORD listened to him; for he saw the oppression of Israel, how that the king of Aram oppressed them.
Aa le nitoreo am’ Iehovà t’Iehoakaze vaho hinao’ Iehovà; amy te nivazohoe’e ty famorekekeañe Israele naho ty fanindria’ i mpanjaka’ i Aramey—
5 (The LORD gave Israel a savior, so that they went out from under the hand of the Arameans; and the children of Israel lived in their tents as before.
Le nitolora’ Iehovà mpandrombake, naho nivotsotse ambanem-pità’ o nte-Arameo; vaho nimoneñe an-kibohotse indraike o ana’ Israeleo, manahake te taolo.
6 Nevertheless they did not depart from the sins of the house of Jeroboam, with which he made Israel to sin; they walked in them. And the Asherah also remained in Samaria.)
Fe tsy napo’ iareo o tahin’ anjomba’ Iarovameo, o nampanañan-kakeo Israeleo, te mone nañaveloa’ iareo, ie nitambatse e Somerone ao i hazomangay.
7 For he did not leave to Jehoahaz of the people any more than fifty horsemen, and ten chariots, and ten thousand footmen; for the king of Aram destroyed them, and made them like the dust in threshing.
Tsy nenga’e ondaty ka t’Iehoakaze naho tsy mpiningi-tsoavala limampolo naho sarete folo vaho lahindefo rai-ale, amy te zinama’ i mpanjaka’ i Aramey iereo le nanoe’e hoe debok’ am-pamofohañe eo.
8 Now the rest of the acts of Jehoahaz, and all that he did, and his might, aren't they written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Israel?
Aa ty ila’ o fitoloña’ Iehoakazeo, o fifanehafa’e iabio naho o haozara’eo, tsy fa sinokitse amy bokem-pamoliliañe o mpanjaka’ Israeleoy hao?
9 Jehoahaz slept with his fathers; and they buried him in Samaria: and Joash his son reigned in his place.
Nirotse aman-droae’e t’Iehoakaze, le nalenteke e Somerone ao, vaho nandimbe aze am-pifeheañe t’Iehoase ana’e.
10 In the thirty-seventh year of Joash king of Judah, Jehoash the son of Jehoahaz began to reign over Israel in Samaria for sixteen years.
Amy taom-paha-telopolo-fito’ ambi’ Ioase mpanjaka’ Iehoday ty niorota’ Iehoase ana’ Iehoakaze nifehe e Israele e Somerone ao, le nifeleha’e folo-tao-eneñ’ amby.
11 He did that which was evil in the sight of the LORD; he did not depart from all the sins of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, with which he made Israel to sin; but he walked in it.
Nanao raty am-pivazohoa’ Iehovà re, le tsy nenga’e ze fonga hakeo’ Iarovame ana’ i Nebate nampanaña’e tahiñe Israele, te mone nañaveloa’e.
12 Now the rest of the acts of Joash, and all that he did, and his might with which he fought against Amaziah king of Judah, aren't they written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Israel?
Ie amy zao ty ila’ o fitoloña’ Iehoaseo naho o fifanehafa’e iabio, naho o haozarañe nialia’e amy Amazià mpanjaka’ Iehodao, tsy fa sinokitse amy bokem-pamoliliañe o mpanjaka’ Israeleoy hao?
13 Joash slept with his fathers; and Jeroboam sat on his throne: and Joash was buried in Samaria with the kings of Israel.
Nirotse aman-droae’e ao t’Iehoase; le niambesatse am-piambesa’e t’Iarovame vaho nalenteke e Somerone ao t’Iehoase mindre amo mpanjaka’ Israeleo.
14 Now Elisha was fallen sick of his sickness of which he died: and Joash the king of Israel came down to him, and wept over him, and said, "My father, my father, the chariots of Israel and its horsemen."
Ie amy zao natindri’ ty hasilofañe hampivetrak’aze t’i Elisà; le nizotso mb’ ama’e mb’eo t’Iehoase mpanjaka’ Israele, nirovetse aze ami’ty hoe: Ry raeko, ry raeko, o sarete’ Israele naho o mpiningi’eo!
15 Elisha said to him, "Take bow and arrows"; and he took to him bow and arrows.
le hoe ty Elisà ama’e, Andrambeso fale naho ana-pale; vaho nandesa’e fale aman’ ana-pale.
16 He said to the king of Israel, "Put your hand on the bow"; and he put his hand on it. Elisha laid his hands on the king's hands.
Le hoe re amy mpanjaka’ Israeley, Asampezo amo faleo ty fità’o, le nasampe’e ama’e eo i fità’ey. Le nasampe’ i Elisà am-pità’ i mpanjakay ty fità’e.
17 He said, "Open the window eastward"; and he opened it. Then Elisha said, "Shoot." and he shot. He said, "The LORD's arrow of victory, even the arrow of victory over Aram; for you shall strike the Arameans in Aphek, until you have consumed them."
Le hoe re, Sokafo i lalan-kede atiñanañey; le sinoka’e. Le hoe t’i Elisà. Ahiririño, le nahiriri’e. Le hoe re: Ty ana-palem-pamotsora’ Iehovà, ty ana-palem-pandreketañe i Arame; fa hanjevo o nte-Arameo e Afekeo irehe ampara’ te fongore’o.
18 He said, "Take the arrows"; and he took them. He said to the king of Israel, "Strike the ground"; and he struck three times, and stopped.
Aa le hoe re: Rambeso o ana-paleo; le rinambe’e. Le hoe re amy mpanjaka’ Israeley: Fofoho o taneo; le finofo’e in-telo vaho nijihetse.
19 The man of God was angry with him, and said, "You should have struck five or six times. Then you would have struck Aram until you had consumed it, whereas now you shall strike Aram just three times."
Niviñera’ indatin’ Añaharey naho nanoa’e ty hoe: Akore te tsy finofo’o in-eneñe ndra in-dime; soa te ho linafa’o ampara te nimongotse t’i Arame; ie henaneo ho lafae’o intelo avao t’i Arame.
20 Elisha died, and they buried him. Now the bands of the Moabites invaded the land at the coming in of the year.
Nihomake t’i Elisà, le nalenteke. Ie henane zay, mpaname i taney boa-taoñe o firimboña’ i Moabeo.
21 It happened, as they were burying a man, that look, they spied a band; and they cast the man into the tomb of Elisha: and as soon as the man touched the bones of Elisha, he revived, and stood up on his feet.
Teo t’ie nandeveñe ondaty, le nitalakeseñe ty mpifañoso-malaso; naho nafetsa’ iereo an-dona’ i Elisà ao i loloy; ie vaho nioza amo taola’ i Elisào i loloy le nisotrake vaho nijohañe am-pandia.
22 Hazael king of Aram oppressed Israel all the days of Jehoahaz.
Finorekeke’ i Kazaele amy ze hene andro’ Iehoakaze t’Israele.
23 But the LORD was gracious to them, and had compassion on them, and had respect to them, because of his covenant with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, and would not destroy them, neither cast he them from his presence as yet.
Fe niferenaiña’ Iehovà naho nitretreze’e naho nihaoñe’e ty amy fañina’e amy Avrahame naho Ietsake vaho Iakobey le tsy ninò’e ty hamongotse ndra ty hañifike iareo boak’ am-piatrefa’e heike.
24 Hazael king of Aram died; and Benhadad his son reigned in his place.
Nihomak’ amy zao t’i Kazaele mpanjaka’ i Arame; le nandimbe aze nifehe t’i Benehadade ana’e.
25 Jehoash the son of Jehoahaz took again out of the hand of Benhadad the son of Hazael the cities which he had taken out of the hand of Jehoahaz his father by war. Joash struck him three times, and recovered the cities of Israel.
Rinambe’ Iehoase ana’ Iehoakaze indraike boak’ am-pità’ i Benehadade ana’ i Kazaele o rova tinava’e an’ aly am-pità’ Iehoakaze rae’eo. In-telo ty nandafa’ Ioase aze vaho rinambe’e indraike o rova’ Israeleo.
