2 Corinthians 7
1 Having therefore these promises, beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all defilement of flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God.
पस ऐ' अज़ीज़ो चुँकि हम से ऐसे वा'दे किए गए, आओ हम अपने आपको हर तरह की जिस्मानी और रूहानी आलूदगी से पाक करें और ख़ुदा के बेख़ौफ़ के साथ पाकीज़गी को कमाल तक पहुँचाए।
2 Open your hearts to us. We wronged no one. We corrupted no one. We took advantage of no one.
हम को अपने दिल में जगह दो हम ने किसी से बेइन्साफ़ी नहीं की किसी को नहीं बिगाड़ा किसी से दग़ा नहीं की।
3 I say this not to condemn you, for I have said before, that you are in our hearts to die together and live together.
मैं तुम्हें मुजरिम ठहराने के लिए ये नहीं कहता क्यूँकि पहले ही कह चुका हूँ कि तुम हमारे दिलों में ऐसे बस गए हो कि हम तुम एक साथ मरें और जिएँ।
4 Great is my boldness of speech toward you. Great is my boasting on your behalf. I am filled with comfort. I overflow with joy in all our affliction.
मैं तुम से बड़ी दिलेरी के साथ बातें करता हूँ मुझे तुम पर बड़ा फ़ख़्र है मुझको पूरी तसल्ली हो गई है; जितनी मुसीबतें हम पर आती हैं उन सब में मेरा दिल ख़ुशी से लबरेज़ रहता है।
5 For even when we had come into Macedonia, our flesh had no relief, but we were afflicted on every side. Fightings were outside. Fear was inside.
क्यूँकि जब हम मकिदुनिया में आए उस वक़्त भी हमारे जिस्म को चैन न मिला बल्कि हर तरफ़ से मुसीबत में गिरफ़्तार रहे बाहर लड़ाइयाँ थीं और अन्दर दहशतें।
6 Nevertheless, he who comforts the lowly, God, comforted us by the coming of Titus;
तोभी आजिज़ों को तसल्ली बख़्शने वाले या'नी ख़ुदा ने तितुस के आने से हम को तसल्ली बख़्शी।
7 and not by his coming only, but also by the comfort with which he was comforted in you, while he told us of your longing, your mourning, and your zeal for me; so that I rejoiced still more.
और न सिर्फ़ उसके आने से बल्कि उसकी उस तसल्ली से भी जो उसको तुम्हारी तरफ़ से हुई और उसने तुम्हारा इश्तियाक़ तुम्हारा ग़म और तुम्हारा जोश जो मेरे बारे में था हम से बयान किया जिस से मैं और भी ख़ुश हुआ।
8 For though I made you sorry with my letter, I do not regret it, though I did regret it. For I see that my letter made you sorry, though just for a while.
गरचे, मैंने तुम को अपने ख़त से ग़मगीन किया मगर उससे पछताता नहीं अगरचे पहले पछताता था चुनाँचे देखता हूँ कि उस ख़त से तुम को ग़म हुआ गरचे थोड़े ही अर्से तक रहा।
9 I now rejoice, not that you were made sorry, but that you were made sorry to repentance. For you were made sorry in a godly way, that you might suffer loss by us in nothing.
अब मैं इसलिए ख़ुश नहीं हूँ कि तुम को ग़म हुआ, बल्कि इस लिए कि तुम्हारे ग़म का अन्जाम तौबा हुआ क्यूँकि तुम्हारा ग़म ख़ुदा परस्ती का था, ताकि तुम को हमारी तरफ़ से किसी तरह का नुक़्सान न हो।
10 For godly sorrow works repentance to salvation, which brings no regret. But the sorrow of the world works death.
क्यूँकि ख़ुदा परस्ती का ग़म ऐसी तौबा पैदा करता है; जिसका अन्जाम नजात है और उस से पछताना नहीं पड़ता मगर दुनिया का ग़म मौत पैदा करता है।
11 For look at this very thing, that you were made sorry in a godly way. What diligence it produced in you, what clearing of yourselves, what indignation, what fear, what longing, what zeal, what vindication. In everything you proved yourselves to be innocent in this matter.
पस देखो इसी बात ने कि तुम ख़ुदा परस्ती के तौर पर ग़मगीन हुए तो मैं किस क़दर सरगर्मी और उज़्र और ख़फ़ा और ख़ौफ़ और इश्तियाक़ और जोश और इन्तिक़ाम पैदा किया; तुम ने हर तरह से साबित कर दिखाया कि तुम इस काम में बरी हो।
12 So although I wrote to you, I wrote not for his cause that did the wrong, nor for his cause that suffered the wrong, but that your earnest care for us might be revealed in you in the sight of God.
पस अगरचे मैंने तुम को लिखा था मगर न उसके बारे में लिखा जिसने बे इन्साफ़ी की और न उसके ज़रिए जिस पर बे इन्साफ़ी हुई बल्कि इस लिए कि तुम्हारी सरगर्मी जो हमारे वास्ते है ख़ुदा के हुज़ूर तुम पर ज़ाहिर हो जाए।
13 Therefore we have been comforted. In our comfort we rejoiced the more exceedingly for the joy of Titus, because his spirit has been refreshed by you all.
इसी लिए हम को तसल्ली हुई है और हमारी इस तसल्ली में हम को तितुस की ख़ुशी की वजह से और भी ज़्यादा ख़ुशी हुई क्यूँकि तुम सब के ज़रिए उसकी रूह फिर ताज़ा हो गई।
14 For if in anything I have boasted to him on your behalf, I was not disappointed. But as we spoke all things to you in truth, so our glorying also which I made before Titus was found to be truth.
और अगर मैंने उसके सामने तुम्हारे बारे में कुछ फ़ख़्र किया तो शर्मिन्दा न हुआ बल्कि जिस तरह हम ने सब बातें तुम से सच्चाई से कहीं उसी तरह जो फ़ख़्र हम ने तितुस के सामने किया वो भी सच निकला।
15 His affection is more abundantly toward you, while he remembers all of your obedience, how with fear and trembling you received him.
और जब उसको तुम सब की फ़रमाबरदारी याद आती है कि तुम किस तरह डरते और काँपते हुए उस से मिले तो उसकी दिली मुहब्बत तुम से और भी ज़्यादा होती जाती है।
16 I rejoice that in everything I am of good courage concerning you.
मैं ख़ुश हूँ कि हर बात में तुम्हारी तरफ़ से मुतमईन हूँ।
