2 Corinthians 6

1 Working together, we entreat also that you not receive the grace of God in vain,

നിങ്ങൾ പ്രാപിച്ച ദൈവകൃപ വ്യർഥമാക്കരുതെന്ന്, ദൈവത്തിന്റെ സഹപ്രവർത്തകരെന്ന നിലയിൽ ഞങ്ങൾ നിങ്ങളോട് അപേക്ഷിക്കുന്നു.

2 for he says, "At an acceptable time I listened to you, and in a day of salvation I helped you." Look, now is the "acceptable time." Look, now is the "day of salvation."

“പ്രസാദകാലത്തു ഞാൻ നിന്റെ പ്രാർഥന കേട്ടു: രക്ഷാദിവസത്തിൽ ഞാൻ നിന്നെ സഹായിച്ചു,” എന്ന് അവിടന്ന് അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നല്ലോ. ഇപ്പോഴാണ് ദൈവത്തിന്റെ സുപ്രസാദകാലം, ഇന്നാണ് രക്ഷാദിവസം.

3 We give no occasion of stumbling in anything, that our service may not be blamed,

ഞങ്ങളുടെ ശുശ്രൂഷയ്ക്ക് അപവാദം വരാതിരിക്കേണ്ടതിന് ഞങ്ങൾ ആരുടെയും പാതയിൽ തടസ്സം ഉണ്ടാക്കുന്നില്ല.

4 but in everything commending ourselves, as servants of God, in great endurance, in afflictions, in hardships, in distresses,

ഞങ്ങൾ ചെയ്യുന്ന സകലത്തിലൂടെയും ദൈവത്തിന്റെ യഥാർഥ ശുശ്രൂഷകരാണ് ഞങ്ങൾ എന്നു തെളിയിക്കുന്നു. കഷ്ടതകളും ഞെരുക്കങ്ങളും എല്ലാവിധത്തിലുമുള്ള വിപത്തുകളും ഞങ്ങൾ ക്ഷമയോടെ സഹിച്ചു,

5 in beatings, in imprisonments, in riots, in labors, in watchings, in fastings;

ഞങ്ങൾ അടിയേറ്റു; കാരാഗൃഹത്തിൽ അടയ്ക്കപ്പെട്ടു; ക്രുദ്ധജനത്തിന്റെ ലഹളയെ അഭിമുഖീകരിച്ചു; അധ്വാനത്താൽ പരിക്ഷീണിതരായി; ഉറക്കമില്ലാതെ രാത്രികൾ ചെലവഴിച്ചു; പട്ടിണിയിലായി.

6 in pureness, in knowledge, in patience, in kindness, in the Ruach ha-Kodesh, in sincere love,

പരിശുദ്ധാത്മാവിന്റെ സഹായത്താൽ ആത്മാർഥസ്നേഹത്തിലൂടെയും ഞങ്ങളുടെ നിർമല ജീവിതത്തിലൂടെയും വിവേകത്തോടെയുള്ള പെരുമാറ്റത്തിലൂടെയും ക്ഷമാശീലത്തിലൂടെയും ദയയിലൂടെയും ഞങ്ങൾ ആരാണെന്നു തെളിയിച്ചു.

7 in the word of truth, in the power of God; by the armor of righteousness on the right hand and on the left,

സത്യസന്ധമായ സംഭാഷണത്തിലും ദൈവത്തിന്റെ ശക്തിയിലും നിലകൊണ്ട്, ഇടത്തും വലത്തും നീതിയുടെ ആയുധങ്ങൾ വഹിച്ചുകൊണ്ട്,

8 by glory and dishonor, by evil report and good report; as deceivers, and yet true;

ആദരവിലൂടെയും അനാദരവിലൂടെയും ദുഷ്കീർത്തിയിലൂടെയും സൽകീർത്തിയിലൂടെയും ഞങ്ങൾ കടന്നുപോകുന്നു; പരമാർഥികളെങ്കിലും വഞ്ചകരായും

9 as unknown, and yet well known; as dying, and look, we live; as punished, and not killed;

പ്രസിദ്ധരെങ്കിലും അപ്രസിദ്ധരെപ്പോലെയും കരുതപ്പെടുന്നു. ഞങ്ങൾ മരിക്കുന്നെങ്കിലും ജീവിക്കുന്നു. അടികൊള്ളുന്നെങ്കിലും കൊല്ലപ്പെടുന്നില്ല.

10 as sorrowful, yet always rejoicing; as poor, yet making many rich; as having nothing, and yet possessing all things.

ദുഃഖിതരെങ്കിലും എപ്പോഴും ആനന്ദിക്കുന്നു. ദരിദ്രരെങ്കിലും പലരെയും സമ്പന്നരാക്കുന്നു. ഒന്നുമില്ലാത്തവർ എങ്കിലും എല്ലാം ഉള്ളവർതന്നെ.

11 Our mouth is open to you, Corinthians. Our heart is enlarged.

കൊരിന്ത്യരേ, ഞങ്ങൾ നിങ്ങളോടു തുറന്നു സംസാരിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു. ഞങ്ങളുടെ ഹൃദയം വിശാലമാക്കിയിരിക്കുന്നു.

12 You are not restricted by us, but you are restricted by your own affections.

നിങ്ങളോടുള്ള സ്നേഹം ഞങ്ങൾ നൽകാതിരുന്നിട്ടില്ലെങ്കിലും, നിങ്ങളത് ഞങ്ങൾക്കു നൽകുന്നില്ല.

13 Now in return, I speak as to my children, you also be open wide.

നിങ്ങൾ ഞങ്ങൾക്ക് മക്കളെപ്പോലെ ആണ്. അതുകൊണ്ട് നിങ്ങളും ഞങ്ങളെപ്പോലെതന്നെ ഹൃദയവിശാലത ഉള്ളവരായിരിക്കുന്നത് ന്യായമാണല്ലോ.

14 Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what fellowship has light with darkness?

അവിശ്വാസികളുമായുള്ള പങ്കാളിത്തം ചേർച്ചയില്ലാത്തതാണ്, അത് അരുത്. നീതിക്കും ദുഷ്ടതയ്ക്കുംതമ്മിൽ എന്താണു യോജിപ്പ്? പ്രകാശത്തിനും ഇരുളിനുംതമ്മിൽ എന്തു കൂട്ടായ്മ?

15 What agreement has Messiah with Belial? Or what portion has a believer with an unbeliever?

ക്രിസ്തുവിനും ബെലിയാലിനുംതമ്മിൽ ഐക്യമോ? വിശ്വാസിക്ക് അവിശ്വാസിയുമായി പൊതുവായിട്ട് എന്താണുള്ളത്?

16 What agreement has a temple of God with idols? For we are a temple of the living God. Even as God said, "I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they will be my people."

ദൈവത്തിന്റെ ആലയവും വിഗ്രഹങ്ങളുംതമ്മിൽ എന്തു ബന്ധം? നാം ജീവനുള്ള ദൈവത്തിന്റെ ആലയമല്ലോ: “ഞാൻ അവരിൽ വസിക്കുകയും അവരുടെ ഇടയിൽ നടക്കുകയും ചെയ്യും; ഞാൻ അവരുടെ ദൈവവും അവർ എന്റെ ജനവും ആയിരിക്കും” എന്നു ദൈവം അരുളിച്ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നു. ആകയാൽ,

17 Therefore, "'Go out from their midst, and be separate,' says the Lord, 'and touch no unclean thing,' and I will receive you.

“അവരിൽനിന്ന് പുറത്തുവരികയും വേർപിരിയുകയുംചെയ്യുക, എന്നു കർത്താവ് അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു. അശുദ്ധമായതൊന്നും സ്പർശിക്കരുത്; എന്നാൽ ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളെ സ്വീകരിക്കും.”

18 "And I will be a Father to you, and you will be my sons and daughters," says the Lord Almighty.

“ഞാൻ നിങ്ങൾക്കു പിതാവും നിങ്ങൾ എനിക്കു പുത്രന്മാരും പുത്രിമാരും ആയിരിക്കും, എന്നു സർവശക്തനായ കർത്താവ് അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു.”
