2 Corinthians 3
1 Are we beginning again to commend ourselves? We do not need, as do some, letters of commendation to you or from you, do we?
ഞങ്ങൾ വീണ്ടും ഞങ്ങൾക്കായിത്തന്നെ ശുപാർശ ചെയ്യാൻ തുടങ്ങുകയാണോ? മറ്റുചിലർ ചെയ്യുന്നതുപോലെ നിങ്ങളിൽനിന്ന് ശുപാർശക്കത്തുകൾ വാങ്ങാനോ നിങ്ങൾക്കു ശുപാർശക്കത്തുകൾ നൽകാനോ ഞങ്ങൾക്ക് എന്താണാവശ്യം?
2 You are our letter, written in our hearts, known and read by everyone;
നിങ്ങൾതന്നെ ഞങ്ങളുടെ ശുപാർശക്കത്ത്; അത് ഞങ്ങളുടെ ഹൃദയത്തിൽ എഴുതിയിട്ടുള്ളതും സകലമനുഷ്യരും അറിയുകയും വായിക്കുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നതുമാണ്.
3 being revealed that you are a letter of Messiah, served by us, written not with ink, but with the Ruach of the living God; not in tablets of stone, but in tablets that are hearts of flesh.
അങ്ങനെ ഞങ്ങളുടെ പ്രവർത്തനഫലമായി ഉണ്ടായ “ക്രിസ്തുവിന്റെ കത്ത്” നിങ്ങൾ ആകുന്നു എന്നു വ്യക്തമാണ്. അത് എഴുതിയിരിക്കുന്നതു മഷികൊണ്ടല്ല, ജീവനുള്ള ദൈവത്തിന്റെ ആത്മാവിനാലാണ്; കൽപ്പലകകളിൽ അല്ല, മനുഷ്യഹൃദയങ്ങളെന്ന മാംസപ്പലകകളിന്മേലാണ്.
4 Such confidence we have through Messiah toward God;
യേശുക്രിസ്തുവിലൂടെ ദൈവത്തിൽ ഞങ്ങൾക്ക് തികഞ്ഞ ധൈര്യമുള്ളതുകൊണ്ടാണ് ഇപ്രകാരം ഞങ്ങൾ പറയുന്നത്.
5 not that we are sufficient of ourselves, to account anything as from ourselves; but our sufficiency is from God;
ഞങ്ങളുടെ സ്വന്തം എന്ന് അവകാശപ്പെടാൻ കഴിയുന്ന യാതൊരു സാമർഥ്യവും ഞങ്ങൾക്കില്ല; ഞങ്ങളുടെ സാമർഥ്യം ദൈവത്തിൽനിന്ന് വരുന്നു.
6 who also made us sufficient as servants of a new covenant; not of the letter, but of the Ruach. For the letter kills, but the Ruach gives life.
അവിടന്ന് ഞങ്ങളെ പുതിയ ഉടമ്പടിയുടെ ശുശ്രൂഷകരായിരിക്കാൻ യോഗ്യരാക്കി. എഴുതപ്പെട്ട പ്രമാണങ്ങളുടെയല്ല മറിച്ച്, ആത്മാവിന്റെ പ്രമാണങ്ങളുടെതന്നെ ശുശ്രൂഷക്കാർ. കാരണം പ്രമാണം കൊല്ലുന്നു, ആത്മാവോ ജീവിപ്പിക്കുന്നു.
7 But if the service of death, written engraved on stones, came with glory, so that the children of Israel could not look steadfastly on the face of Moses for the glory of his face; which was passing away:
കല്ലിൽ കൊത്തപ്പെട്ടതും മരണംമാത്രം കൊണ്ടുവന്നതുമായ ശുശ്രൂഷ വന്നുചേർന്നത് തേജസ്സോടുകൂടെ ആയിരുന്നു. തൽഫലമായി മോശയ്ക്കുണ്ടായ മുഖതേജസ്സ്, താൽക്കാലികമായിരുന്നിട്ടും, ഇസ്രായേല്യർക്ക് അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ മുഖത്ത് സൂക്ഷിച്ചുനോക്കുക അസാധ്യമായിരുന്നു.
8 won't service of the Ruach be with much more glory?
അങ്ങനെയെങ്കിൽ ആത്മാവിന്റെ ജീവൻ നൽകുന്ന ശുശ്രൂഷ എത്രയധികം തേജസ്സുള്ളതായിരിക്കും.
9 For if the service of condemnation has glory, the service of righteousness exceeds much more in glory.
കുറ്റക്കാരനെന്നു വിധിക്കുന്ന പ്രമാണത്തിന്റെ ശുശ്രൂഷ തേജോമയമെങ്കിൽ കുറ്റവിമുക്തരാക്കുന്ന ശുശ്രൂഷ അതിലും എത്രയധികം ശോഭപരത്തുന്നതായിരിക്കും!
10 For truly that which has been made glorious has not been made glorious in this respect, by reason of the glory that surpasses.
ഒരിക്കൽ തേജസ്സുണ്ടായിരുന്നത്, അതിമഹത്തായ ഇപ്പോഴത്തെ തേജസ്സുമൂലം തേജസ്സറ്റതായിത്തീർന്നിരിക്കുന്നു.
11 For if that which passes away was with glory, much more that which remains is in glory.
ഇങ്ങനെ പ്രസക്തി നഷ്ടമായിക്കൊണ്ടിരുന്ന ന്യായപ്രമാണം രംഗപ്രവേശം ചെയ്തത് അതിതേജസ്സോടെ ആയിരുന്നെങ്കിൽ, സുസ്ഥിരമായത് എത്രയധികം തേജസ്സുള്ളതായിരിക്കും!
12 Having therefore such a hope, we use great boldness of speech,
ഇങ്ങനെയൊരു പ്രത്യാശയുള്ളതുകൊണ്ടു നാം വളരെ ധൈര്യശാലികളായിരിക്കുന്നു.
13 and not as Moses, who put a veil on his face, that the children of Israel would not look steadfastly on the end of that which was passing away.
തന്റെ മുഖത്തെ തേജസ്സ് മാഞ്ഞുപൊയ്ക്കൊണ്ടിരുന്നതാണെങ്കിലും ഇസ്രായേല്യർ അതു കാണാതിരിക്കാനായി മോശ തന്റെ മുഖം ഒരു മൂടുപടം കൊണ്ടു മറച്ചു. നമ്മുടെ സ്ഥിതി അങ്ങനെയല്ല.
14 But their minds were hardened, for until this very day at the reading of the old covenant the same veil remains, because in Messiah it passes away.
ഇങ്ങനെയായിട്ടും ഇസ്രായേൽജനതയുടെ ചിന്താഗതി കഠിനമായിപ്പോയിരുന്നു. പഴയ ഉടമ്പടി വായിക്കുമ്പോഴൊക്കെയും അതേ മൂടുപടം ഇന്നും അവശേഷിക്കുന്നു. അതിന് മാറ്റം വന്നിട്ടില്ല. കാരണം, ക്രിസ്തുവിലാണ് മൂടുപടത്തിന് നീക്കം വരുന്നത്.
15 But to this day, when Moses is read, a veil lies on their heart.
ഇന്നുവരെയും മോശയുടെ പുസ്തകം വായിക്കുമ്പോൾ ഒരു മൂടുപടം ഇസ്രായേൽജനതയുടെ ഹൃദയങ്ങളിൽ ശേഷിക്കുന്നു.
16 But whenever one turns to the Lord, the veil is taken away.
എന്നാൽ, ഒരു വ്യക്തി കർത്താവായ ക്രിസ്തുവിലേക്കു തിരിയുമ്പോൾ മൂടുപടം നീങ്ങിപ്പോകുന്നു.
17 Now the Lord is the Ruach and where the Ruach of the Lord is, there is liberty.
കർത്താവ് ആത്മാവാകുന്നു, കർത്താവിന്റെ ആത്മാവുള്ളേടത്ത് സ്വാതന്ത്ര്യം ഉണ്ട്.
18 But we all, with unveiled face looking as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are transformed into the same image from glory to glory, even as from the Lord, the Ruach.
അങ്ങനെ നാം എല്ലാവരും മൂടുപടം നീക്കപ്പെട്ട നമ്മുടെ മുഖങ്ങളിൽ കർത്താവിന്റെ തേജസ്സ് കണ്ണാടിയിലെന്നപോലെ പ്രതിബിംബിക്കുന്നവരായി, കർത്താവിന്റെ ആത്മാവിൽനിന്ന് വർധമാനമായ തേജസ്സു പ്രാപിച്ചുകൊണ്ട്, അവിടത്തെ സാദൃശ്യത്തിലേക്കു രൂപാന്തരപ്പെട്ടുകൊണ്ടിരിക്കുന്നു.
