2 Corinthians 10
1 Now I Paul, myself, entreat you by the humility and gentleness of Messiah; I who in your presence am lowly among you, but being absent am of good courage toward you.
ⲁ̅⳿ⲁⲛⲟⲕ ⲇⲉ ⲡⲁⲩⲗⲟⲥ ϯϯϩⲟ ⳿ⲉⲣⲱⲧⲉⲛ ⳿ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲓⲧⲉⲛ ϯⲙⲉⲧⲣⲉⲙⲣⲁⲩϣ ⲛⲉⲙ ϯⲙⲉⲧ⳿ⲉⲡⲓⲕⲏⲥ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉ Ⲡⲭ̅ⲥ̅ ϩⲱⲥ ⲉⲓⲑⲉⲃⲓⲏⲟⲩⲧ ⲙⲉⲛ ϧⲉⲛ ⲑⲏⲛⲟⲩ ⳿ⲙⲡⲉⲧⲉⲛ⳿ⲙⲑⲟ ⲉⲓⲥⲁⲃⲟⲗ ⲇⲉ ⳿ⲙⲙⲱⲧⲉⲛ ⲡⲁϩⲏⲧ ⲧⲁϫⲣⲏⲟⲩⲧ ϧⲉⲛ ⲑⲏⲛⲟⲩ.
2 But I implore you that when I am present I may not have to be bold with the confidence with which I intend on showing against some, who consider us to be walking according to the flesh.
ⲃ̅ϯⲧⲱⲃϩ ⲇⲉ ⲉⲑⲣⲓϣⲱⲡⲓ ⲉⲓⲧⲁϫⲣⲏⲟⲩⲧ ⳿ⲛϩⲏⲧ ⳿ⲛϯϩⲁⲣⲱⲧⲉⲛ ⲁⲛ ϧⲉⲛ ⲡⲁⲓⲑⲱⲧ ⳿ⲛϩⲏⲧ ⲫⲁⲓ ⳿ⲉϯⲙⲉⲩ⳿ⲓ ⳿ⲉⲣⲟϥ ⳿ⲉⲉⲣⲧⲟⲗⲙⲁⲛ ⳿ⲉ⳿ϩⲣⲏⲓ ⳿ⲉϫⲉⲛ ϩⲁⲛⲟⲩⲟⲛ ⲛⲁⲓ ⲉⲑⲙⲉⲩ⳿ⲓ ⳿ⲉⲣⲟⲛ ϫⲉ ⲁⲛⲙⲟϣⲓ ⲕⲁⲧⲁ ⲥⲁⲣⲝ.
3 For though we walk in the flesh, we do not wage war according to the flesh;
ⲅ̅ⲉⲛⲙⲟϣⲓ ⲅⲁⲣ ⲕⲁⲧⲁ ⲥⲁⲣⲝ ⲛⲁⲛⲟⲓ ⳿ⲙⲙⲁⲧⲟⲓ ⲁⲛ ⲕⲁⲧⲁ ⲥⲁⲣⲝ.
4 for the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty in God for the tearing down of strongholds,
ⲇ̅ⲛⲓϩⲟⲡⲗⲟⲛ ⲅⲁⲣ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉ ⲧⲉⲛⲙⲉⲧⲙⲁⲧⲟⲓ ϩⲁⲛⲥⲁⲣⲕⲓⲕⲟⲛ ⲁⲛ ⲛⲉ ⲁⲗⲗⲁ ϩⲁⲛϫⲟⲙ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉ ⲫϯ ⲛⲉ ⲉⲩϣⲟⲣϣⲉⲣ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉ ⲛⲏⲉⲧϫⲟⲣ.
5 throwing down imaginations and every high thing that is exalted against the knowledge of God, and bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Messiah;
ⲉ̅ⲉⲩⲣⲱϧⲧ ⳿ⲉ⳿ϧⲣⲏⲓ ⳿ⲛϩⲁⲛⲥⲟϭⲛⲓ ⲛⲉⲙ ϭⲓⲥⲓ ⲛⲓⲃⲉⲛ ⲉⲧⲧⲱⲟⲩⲛ ⳿ⲙⲙⲱⲟⲩ ⳿ⲉ⳿ϩⲣⲏⲓ ⳿ⲉϫⲉⲛ ⲡⲓ⳿ⲉⲙⲓ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉ ⲫϯ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲉⲛⲉⲣⲉⲭⲙⲁⲗⲱⲧⲉⲩⲓⲛ ⳿ⲙⲙⲉⲩ⳿ⲓ ⲛⲓⲃⲉⲛ ⳿ⲉϧⲟⲩⲛ ϧⲁ ⳿ⲡⲥⲱⲧⲉⲙ ⳿ⲙⲠⲭ̅ⲥ̅.
6 and being in readiness to avenge all disobedience, when your obedience will be made full.
ⲋ̅ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲉⲛⲥⲉⲃⲧⲱⲧ ⳿ⲉϭⲓ ⳿ⲙⲡⲉⲙ⳿ⲡϣⲓϣ ⳿ⲙⲙⲉⲧⲁⲧⲥⲱⲧⲉⲙ ⲛⲓⲃⲉⲛ ⳿ⲉϣⲱⲡ ⲁϥϣⲁⲛⲙⲟϩ ⳿ⲛϣⲟⲣⲡ ⳿ⲛϫⲉ ⲡⲉⲧⲉⲛⲥⲱⲧⲉⲙ.
7 Do you look at things only as they appear in front of your face? If anyone trusts in himself that he is Messiah's, let him consider this again with himself, that, even as he is Messiah's, so also we are Messiah's.
ⲍ̅⳿ⲛⲧⲉⲧⲉⲛϫⲟⲩϣⲧ ⳿ⲉⲛⲏⲉⲧⲭⲏ ⳿ⲙⲡⲉⲧⲉⲛ⳿ⲙⲑⲟ ⲫⲏ⳿ⲉⲧⲉϩⲑⲏϥⲭⲏ ϫⲉ ⲫⲁ Ⲡⲭ̅ⲥ̅ ⲡⲉ ⲫⲁⲓ ⲟⲛ ⲙⲁⲣⲉϥⲥⲟϭⲛⲓ ⳿ⲉⲣⲟϥ ⳿ⲛ⳿ϧⲣⲏⲓ ⳿ⲛϧⲏⲧϥ ϫⲉ ⲕⲁⲧⲁ ⳿ⲫⲣⲏϯ ⳿ⲉⲧⲉ ⳿ⲛⲑⲟϥ ⲫⲁ Ⲡⲭ̅ⲥ̅ ⲡⲁⲓⲣⲏϯ ⳿ⲁⲛⲟⲛ ϩⲱⲛ.
8 For though I should boast somewhat abundantly concerning our authority, (which the Lord gave for building you up, and not for casting you down) I will not be disappointed,
ⲏ̅⳿ⲉϣⲱⲡ ⲅⲁⲣ ⲁⲓϣⲁⲛϣⲟⲩϣⲟⲩ ⳿ⲙⲙⲟⲓ ⳿ⲛϩⲟⲩ⳿ⲟ ⳿ⲉ⳿ϩⲣⲏⲓ ⳿ⲉϫⲉⲛ ⲡⲓⲉⲣϣⲓϣⲓ ⳿ⲉⲧⲁ Ⲡ⳪ ⲧⲏⲓϥ ⲛⲏⲓ ⲉⲩⲕⲱⲧ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲛⲉ ⲡⲉⲧⲉⲛⲣⲱϧⲧ ⲁⲛ ⳿ⲛϯⲛⲁϣⲓⲡⲓ ⲁⲛ.
9 that I may not seem as if I desire to terrify you by my letters.
ⲑ̅ϩⲓⲛⲁ ⳿ⲛⲧⲁ⳿ϣⲧⲉⲙⲉⲣ⳿ⲙ⳿ⲫⲣⲏϯ ⳿ⲛⲟⲩⲁⲓ ⲉϥϯϩⲉⲗⲓ ⲛⲱⲧⲉⲛ ⳿ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲓⲧⲉⲛ ⲛⲓⲉⲡⲓⲥⲧⲟⲗⲏ.
10 For, "His letters," they say, "are weighty and strong, but his bodily presence is weak, and his speech is despised."
ⲓ̅ϫⲉ ⲛⲓⲉⲡⲓⲥⲧⲟⲗⲏ ⲙⲉⲛ ⲡⲉϫⲁϥ ⲥⲉϩⲟⲣϣ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲥⲉϫⲟⲣ ϯⲡⲁⲣⲟⲩⲥⲓⲁ ⲇⲉ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉ ⲡⲓⲥⲱⲙⲁ ⲟⲩⲁⲥⲑⲉⲛⲏⲥ ⲧⲉ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲡⲓⲥⲁϫⲓ ϣⲏϣ.
11 Let such a person consider this, that what we are in word by letters when we are absent, such are we also in deed when we are present.
ⲓ̅ⲁ̅ⲫⲁⲓ ⲟⲛ ⲙⲁⲣⲉϥⲙⲉⲩ⳿ⲓ ⳿ⲉⲣⲟϥ ⳿ⲛϫⲉ ⲫⲁⲓ ⳿ⲙⲡⲁⲓⲣⲏϯ ϫⲉ ⲕⲁⲧⲁ ⳿ⲫⲣⲏϯ ⳿ⲉⲧⲉⲛⲟⲓ ⳿ⲙⲙⲟϥ ϧⲉⲛ ⳿ⲡⲥⲁϫⲓ ⳿ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲓⲧⲉⲛ ⲛⲓⲉⲡⲓⲥⲧⲟⲗⲏ ⲉⲛⲭⲏ ϧⲁⲧⲉⲛ ⲑⲏⲛⲟⲩ ⲁⲛ ⲫⲁⲓ ⲟⲛ ⲡⲉ ⳿ⲙ⳿ⲫⲣⲏϯ ⳿ⲉⲧⲉⲛⲟⲓ ⳿ⲙⲙⲟϥ ϧⲉⲛ ⳿ⲡϩⲱⲃ ⲉⲛⲭⲏ ϧⲁⲧⲉⲛ ⲑⲏⲛⲟⲩ.
12 For we are not bold to number or compare ourselves with some of those who commend themselves. But they themselves, measuring themselves by themselves, and comparing themselves with themselves, are without understanding.
ⲓ̅ⲃ̅⳿ⲛⲧⲉⲛⲉⲣⲧⲟⲗⲙⲁⲛ ⲅⲁⲣ ⲁⲛ ⲉⲧⲉⲛⲑⲱⲛⲉⲛ ⲓⲉ ⳿ⲉϣⲓⲧⲉⲛ ⳿ⲉϩⲁⲛⲟⲩⲟⲛ ⲛⲏ ⲉⲧⲧⲁϩⲟ ⳿ⲙⲙⲱⲟⲩ ⳿ⲉⲣⲁⲧⲟⲩ ⳿ⲙⲙⲁⲩⲁⲧⲟⲩ ⲁⲗⲗⲁ ⳿ⲛⲑⲱⲟⲩ ⳿ⲛ⳿ϧⲣⲏⲓ ⳿ⲛϧⲏⲧⲟⲩ ⲉⲩϣⲓ ⳿ⲙⲙⲱⲟⲩ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲉⲩⲑⲱⲛⲧⲉⲛ ⳿ⲙⲙⲱⲟⲩ ⳿ⲉⲣⲱⲟⲩ ⳿ⲙⲙⲓⲛ ⳿ⲙⲙⲱⲟⲩ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⳿ⲛⲥⲉⲕⲁϯ ⲁⲛ.
13 But we will not boast beyond proper limits, but within the boundaries with which God appointed to us, which reach even to you.
ⲓ̅ⲅ̅⳿ⲁⲛⲟⲛ ⲇⲉ ⲛⲁⲛϣⲟⲩϣⲟⲩ ⳿ⲙⲙⲟⲛ ⲁⲛ ϧⲉⲛ ϩⲁⲛⲁⲧϣⲓ ⲁⲗⲗⲁ ⲕⲁⲧⲁ ⲡⲓϣⲓ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉ ⲡⲓⲕⲁⲛⲟⲩⲛ ⲫⲏ⳿ⲉⲧⲁ ⲫϯ ⲑⲁϣϥ ⲛⲁⲛ ⲉⲑⲣⲉⲛⲫⲟϩ ϣⲁⲣⲟϥ ϧⲉⲛ ⲟⲩϣⲓ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲟⲩϣⲁⲣⲱⲧⲉⲛ.
14 For we do not stretch ourselves too much, as though we did not reach to you. For we came even as far as to you with the Good News of Messiah,
ⲓ̅ⲇ̅ⲟⲩ ⲅⲁⲣ ϩⲱⲥ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉⲛⲫⲉϩ ⳿ⲉⲣⲱⲧⲉⲛ ⲁⲛ ⲧⲉⲛⲥⲱⲟⲩⲧⲉⲛ ⳿ⲙⲙⲟⲛ ⳿ⲉⲣⲱⲧⲉⲛ ⳿ⲛϩⲟⲩ⳿ⲟ ⲁⲛⲫⲟϩ ⲅⲁⲣ ⳿ⲉⲣⲱⲧⲉⲛ ϩⲱⲧⲉⲛ ϧⲉⲛ ⲡⲓⲉⲩⲁⲅⲅⲉⲗⲓⲟⲛ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉ Ⲡⲭ̅ⲥ̅.
15 not boasting excessively in the work done by others, but having hope that as your faith grows, we will be abundantly enlarged by you in our sphere of influence,
ⲓ̅ⲉ̅ⲉⲛϣⲟⲩϣⲟⲩ ⳿ⲙⲙⲟⲛ ⲁⲛ ϧⲉⲛ ϩⲁⲛⲙⲉⲧⲁⲧϣⲓ ϧⲉⲛ ϩⲁⲛϧⲓⲥⲓ ⳿ⲛϣⲉⲙⲙⲟ ⳿ⲉⲟⲩⲟⲛⲧⲁⲛ ⲇⲉ ⳿ⲛⲟⲩϩⲉⲗⲡⲓⲥ ⲁⲣⲉϣⲁⲛ ⲡⲉⲧⲉⲛⲛⲁϩϯ ⲁⲓⲁⲓ ⲉⲑⲣⲉϥⲉⲣⲛⲓϣϯ ϧⲉⲛ ⲑⲏⲛⲟⲩ ⲕⲁⲧⲁ ⲡⲉⲛⲕⲁⲛⲱⲛ ⲉⲩⲙⲉⲧϩⲟⲩ⳿ⲟ.
16 so as to preach the Good News even to the regions beyond you, not to boast in what someone else has already done.
ⲓ̅ⲋ̅⳿ⲉϩⲓϣⲉⲛⲛⲟⲩϥⲓ ⲛⲱⲧⲉⲛ ⳿ⲛⲛⲏⲉⲧⲟⲓ ⳿ⲛⲛⲓϣϯ ⳿ⲉⲛⲏ ϧⲉⲛ ⲟⲩⲕⲁⲛⲱⲛ ⳿ⲛϣⲉⲙⲙⲟ ⲁⲛ ⳿ⲉϣⲟⲩϣⲟⲩ ⳿ⲙⲙⲟⲛ ϧⲉⲛ ⲛⲏⲉⲧⲥⲉⲃⲧⲱⲧ.
17 But "he who boasts, let him boast in the Lord."
ⲓ̅ⲍ̅ⲫⲏ ⲇⲉ ⲉⲧϣⲟⲩϣⲟⲩ ⳿ⲙⲙⲟϥ ⲙⲁⲣⲉϥϣⲟⲩϣⲟⲩ ⳿ⲙⲙⲟϥ ϧⲉⲛ Ⲡ⳪.
18 For it is not he who commends himself who is approved, but whom the Lord commends.
ⲓ̅ⲏ̅ⲫⲏ ⲅⲁⲣ ⲁⲛ ⲉⲧⲧⲁϩⲟ ⳿ⲙⲙⲟϥ ⳿ⲉⲣⲁⲧϥ ⳿ⲙⲙⲁⲩⲁⲧϥ ⲡⲉ ⲡⲓⲥⲱⲧⲡ ⲁⲗⲗⲁ ⲫⲏ⳿ⲉⲧⲉ Ⲡ⳪ ⲛⲁⲧⲁϩⲟϥ ⳿ⲉⲣⲁⲧϥ.
