< 1 Timothy 5 >
1 Do not rebuke an older man, but exhort him as a father; the younger men as brothers;
Ahal oirabasingbu thina cheiganu, adubu nahakki ipagumna khanduna pukning thougatpiyu; naha oibasingbu nanaogumna,
2 the older women as mothers; the younger as sisters, in all purity.
ahal oirabi nupisingbu nahakki imagumna amasung naha oibi nupisingna nachan-gumna khanduna pukning sengna loinabiyu.
3 Honor widows who are widows indeed.
Kana leijadrabi lukhrabisingbu ikaikhumnabiyu.
4 But if any widow has children or grandchildren, let them learn first to show piety towards their own family, and to repay their parents, for this is acceptable in the sight of God.
Kanagumbi lukhrabi amagi macha masu leirabadi, macha masusing aduna makhoina ahanbada makhoi masagi imung manungda makhoigi laininggi oiba thoudang adu pangthokpa tamsanu aduga asumna makhoigi mama mapa amadi mapu mabenda laman singsanu maramdi masi Tengban Mapugi maphamda apenbani.
5 Now she who is a widow indeed, and desolate, has her hope set on God, and continues in petitions and prayers night and day.
Yengsinbinaba kana leijadrabi lukhrabi aduna Tengban Mapuda asa thamjaduna, mahakpu pangbinaba ahing nungthil animakta haijei.
6 But she who gives herself to pleasure is dead while she lives.
Adubu masa nungainaba hinglibi lukhrabi adudi hinglabasu mahak sirabani.
7 Also command these things, so that they will be without fault.
Mingchat thiba leitanaba makhoida hiramsing asi haibiyu.
8 But if anyone does not provide for his own, and especially his own household, he has denied the faith, and is worse than an unbeliever.
Adubu kanagumbana mahakki mari mata maru oina mahak masamakki imung manunggi mibu yok-thaktrabadi, thajaba asi yajadre amasung thajadaba midagi mahakna henna phattre.
9 Let no one be enrolled as a widow under sixty years old, having been the wife of one man,
Chahi humphu sudribi kana amata lukhrabisinggi marakta masing chalhan-ganu. Madugi mathakta mahakki mapuroibagi maphamda thajaba yaba punsi ama hinglambi misak ama oigadabani,
10 being approved by good works, if she has brought up children, if she has been hospitable to strangers, if she has washed the kadoshim' feet, if she has relieved the afflicted, and if she has diligently followed every good work.
amadi aphaba thabakkidamak mayamna sonnarabi haibadi machasingbu ningthina yok-thaklakpi, lamlanbasingbu taram taram tourambi, Mapu Ibungogi misinggi makhongbu hamdokpirambi, awa ana tarabasingbu pangbirabi amasung aphaba thabak khudingmakta maram okpi oirambi ama oigadabani.
11 But refuse younger widows, for whenever their passions lead them away from Messiah, they desire to marry;
Naha oiribi lukhrabisingbu lukhrabigi masingda chalhan-ganu, maramdi makhoigi hakchanggi apambana makhoina Christtagidamak katthokchaba adudagi hen-gatlakpada makhoi mayum panninggani.
12 having condemnation, because they have rejected their first pledge.
Asumna makhoigi hanna thamkhiba wasak adu thugaibagi wayel phangba oigani.
13 Besides, they also learn to be idle, going about from house to house. Not only idle, but also gossips and busybodies, saying things which they ought not.
Aduta nattana, yum yumda koichat chattuna matam manghanbagi heinabi leigani. Aduga makhoina karisu toudaba aduta nattana warem ngangba amasung migi thabakta khut thingjinduna, makhoina ngangloidaba wa ngangba oigani.
14 I desire therefore that the younger widows marry, bear children, rule the household, and give no occasion to the adversary for reviling.
Maram aduna naha oiribi lukhrabisingna amuk hanna mayum panduna machasing poktuna mayum makei ningthina panba haibasi eina pammi. Madu oirabadi yeknabasingna maral sinnabagi khudongchaba adu phanglaroi.
15 For already some have turned aside after Satan.
Lukhrabi kharadi leithoktuna Satan-gi matung inkhre.
16 If any believing woman has widows, she must assist them, and do not let the congregation be burdened; that it might help those widows who are truly in need.
Kanagumbi thajabi nupi amagi imungda lukhrabising leirabadi, mahakna makhoibu yengsinbigadabani maduna singlupta potlum oihalloidabani, madu oirabadi kana leijadrabi lukhrabisingbu singlupna pangbiba ngamgani.
17 Let the elders who rule well be counted worthy of double honor, especially those who labor in the word and in teaching.
Singlupki thabak touduna chingbiriba ahal lamansing, maru oina Tengban Mapugi wahei sandokliba amadi tambiriba makhoising adu saruk ani henna ikai khumnabada matik chai.
18 For the Scripture says, "You shall not muzzle the ox when it treads out the grain." And, "The laborer is worthy of his wages."
Maramdi Mapugi asengba Puyana hai, “Sallababu maheimarong netthat-hallingeida machin pun-ganu” aduga “Thabak suba mina asuman phangba matik chai.”
19 Do not receive an accusation against an elder, except at the word of two or three witnesses.
Mi ani nattraga ahumgi sakhi leitrabadi, singlupki ahal amagi mathakta maral siba wa louganu.
20 Those who sin, reprove in the sight of all, that the rest also may be in fear.
Mi ateinasu kinaba pap touriba ahansingdu miyam mangda cheiyu.
21 I command you in the sight of God, and Messiah Yeshua, and the chosen angels, that you observe these things without prejudice, doing nothing by partiality.
Tengban Mapu, Christta Jisu amasung khanggatlaba swargadutsinggi mamangda eina nangonda hairi madudi nahakna achan mirai naidana, misak mimai yengdana hiramsing asi ngak-u.
22 Do not ordain anyone hastily, nor participate in the sins of others. Keep yourself pure.
Tengban Mapugi thougan-gidamak misingbu katthoknaba makhoigi mathakta khut thambada hathu hathuganu. Mi ateigi papka saruk yaminnaganu; nahak nasamak sengna thamjou.
23 Be no longer a drinker of water only, but use a little wine for your stomach's sake and your frequent infirmities.
Nahakna ising khakta thakkanu, nahakki chakkhaogidamak amasung nahakna toina nabagi maramana yu khara khara sijinnou.
24 The sins of some people are obvious, going before them to judgment, but those of others show up later.
Mi kharagi papti iphong phong-i, wayenbagi maphamda makhoigi mang thana chatli aduga kanagumba kharagi papti makhoigi matung illi.
25 In the same way also there are good works that are obvious, and those that are otherwise cannot be hidden.
Adugumduna aphaba thabakti iphon phong-i, aduga iphong phongba nattabasing adusu matam pumbagi oina lottuna thamba ngamde.
