1 Kings 6
1 It happened in the four hundred and eightieth year after the children of Israel had come out of the land of Egypt, in the fourth year of Solomon's reign over Israel, in the month Ziv, which is the second month, that he began to build the house of the LORD.
ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರು ಈಜಿಪ್ಟ್ ದೇಶದಿಂದ ಬಂದ ನಾನೂರ ಎಂಬತ್ತನೆಯ ವರುಷದಲ್ಲಿ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ಮೇಲೆ ಸೊಲೊಮೋನನ ಆಳಿಕೆಯ ನಾಲ್ಕನೆಯ ವರ್ಷದ, ಎರಡನೆಯ ತಿಂಗಳಾದ ಜಿವ್ ತಿಂಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಅವನು ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರ ಆಲಯವನ್ನು ಕಟ್ಟಿಸಲು ಪ್ರಾರಂಭಿಸಿದನು.
2 The house which king Solomon built for the LORD, its length was one hundred three feet and four inches, and its breadth thirty-four feet and five inches, and its height fifty-one feet and eight inches.
ಅರಸನಾದ ಸೊಲೊಮೋನನು ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರಿಗೋಸ್ಕರ ಆಲಯವನ್ನು ಕಟ್ಟಿಸಿದನು, ಅದರ ಉದ್ದ ಸುಮಾರು 27 ಮೀಟರ್, ಅದರ ಅಗಲ 9 ಮೀಟರ್, ಅದರ ಎತ್ತರ 14 ಮೀಟರ್.
3 The porch before the temple of the house, thirty-four feet and five inches was its length, according to the breadth of the house. Seventeen feet and three inches was its breadth before the house.
ಮಂದಿರದ ಮುಂದೆ ಮಂಟಪವಿತ್ತು. ಅದು ಆಲಯದ ಅಗಲದ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಸುಮಾರು 9 ಮೀಟರ್ ಉದ್ದವಾಗಿತ್ತು. ಆಲಯದ ಮುಂದೆ ಇರುವ ಅದರ ಅಗಲವು 4.5 ಮೀಟರ್.
4 For the house he made windows of fixed lattice work.
ಅವನು ಸಣ್ಣ ಜಾಲರಿಗಳುಳ್ಳ ಕಿಟಿಕಿಗಳನ್ನು ಆಲಯಕ್ಕೆ ಮಾಡಿಸಿದನು.
5 Against the wall of the house he built stories all around, against the walls of the house all around, both of the temple and of the inner sanctuary; and he made side-rooms all around.
ಕಟ್ಟಡದ ಹೊರಗಿನ ಗೋಡೆಗಳ ಸುತ್ತಲೂ, ಸೊಲೊಮೋನನು ಅನೇಕ ಕೋಣೆಗಳ ಸಂಕೀರ್ಣವನ್ನು ಎರಡೂ ಬದಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ನಿರ್ಮಿಸಿದನು.
6 The lowest story was eight feet and seven inches broad, and the middle was ten feet and four inches broad, and the third was twelve feet and one inch broad; for on the outside he made offsets in the wall of the house all around, that the beams should not have hold in the walls of the house.
ಕೆಳಗಿರುವ ಕೊಠಡಿಯು 2.2 ಮೀಟರ್ ಅಗಲ, ಎರಡನೆಯದು 2.7 ಮೀಟರ್ ಅಗಲ, ಮೂರನೆಯದು 3.1 ಮೀಟರ್ ಅಗಲ. ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ತೊಲೆಗಳು ಆಲಯದ ಗೋಡೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ತಗಲದ ಹಾಗೆ ಆಲಯದ ಸುತ್ತಲೂ ಹೊರಗಡೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಲ್ಲುವ ಅಂತಸ್ತುಗಳನ್ನು ಕಟ್ಟಿಸಿದನು.
7 The house, when it was in building, was built of stone prepared at the quarry; and there was neither hammer nor axe nor any tool of iron heard in the house, while it was in building.
ಆಲಯವನ್ನು ಕಟ್ಟುತ್ತಿರುವಾಗ ಕಲ್ಲುಗಳನ್ನು ಕಲ್ಲುಗಣಿಯಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ಸಿದ್ಧಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡು ಬಂದು ಕಟ್ಟಿದ್ದರಿಂದ ಆಲಯವನ್ನು ಕಟ್ಟುತ್ತಿರುವಾಗ, ಅದರಲ್ಲಿ ಸುತ್ತಿಗೆ, ಉಳಿ, ಕಬ್ಬಿಣದ ಉಪಕರಣಗಳ ಶಬ್ದವೇ ಕೇಳಲಿಲ್ಲ.
8 And the door for the lowest side-rooms was in the right side of the house: and they went up by winding stairs into the middle story, and out of the middle into the third.
ಮಧ್ಯ ಕೊಠಡಿಯ ಬಾಗಿಲು ಆಲಯದ ದಕ್ಷಿಣ ಭಾಗದಲ್ಲಿ ಇತ್ತು. ಅಲ್ಲಿಂದ ಮಧ್ಯ ಕೊಠಡಿಗೂ, ಮಧ್ಯ ಕೊಠಡಿಯಿಂದ ಮೂರನೆಯ ಕೊಠಡಿಗೂ ಹತ್ತಲು ಸುರುಳಿಯಾಕಾರದ ಮೆಟ್ಟಲುಗಳಿದ್ದವು.
9 So he built the house, and finished it; and he covered the house with beams and planks of cedar.
ಹೀಗೆಯೇ ಅವನು ಆಲಯವನ್ನು ಕಟ್ಟಿ, ತೀರಿಸಿದ ತರುವಾಯ, ಆಲಯವನ್ನು ದೇವದಾರುಗಳ ತೊಲೆಗಳಿಂದಲೂ, ಹಲಗೆಗಳಿಂದಲೂ ಮುಚ್ಚಿಸಿದನು.
10 He built the stories against all the house, each eight feet and seven inches high: and they rested on the house with timber of cedar.
ಅವನು 2.2 ಮೀಟರ್ ಎತ್ತರವಾದ ಕೊಠಡಿಗಳನ್ನು ಆಲಯದ ಬಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸುತ್ತಲು ಕಟ್ಟಿಸಿದನು. ಅವು ಆಲಯದ ಮೇಲೆ ಇರಿಸಿದ ದೇವದಾರು ತೊಲೆಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ನಿಂತಿದ್ದವು.
11 The word of the LORD came to Solomon, saying,
ಆಗ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರ ವಾಕ್ಯವು ಸೊಲೊಮೋನನಿಗೆ ಬಂದಿತು,
12 "Concerning this house which you are building, if you will walk in my statutes, and execute my ordinances, and keep all my commandments to walk in them; then will I establish my word with you, which I spoke to David your father.
“ನೀನು ಕಟ್ಟಿಸುವ ಈ ಆಲಯವನ್ನು ಕುರಿತು ನನ್ನ ಕಟ್ಟಳೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆದು, ನನ್ನ ನ್ಯಾಯಗಳ ಪ್ರಕಾರಮಾಡಿ, ನನ್ನ ಸಕಲ ಆಜ್ಞೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳುವ ಹಾಗೆ ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ಕೈಗೊಂಡರೆ, ನಾನು ನಿನ್ನ ತಂದೆ ದಾವೀದನಿಗೆ ಹೇಳಿದ ನನ್ನ ವಾಕ್ಯವನ್ನು ನಿನಗೆ ಸ್ಥಿರಮಾಡಿ,
13 I will dwell among the children of Israel, and will not forsake my people Israel."
ನನ್ನ ಜನವಾದ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರ ಕೈಬಿಡದೆ, ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರ ಮಧ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸವಾಗಿರುವೆನು,” ಎಂದರು.
14 So Solomon built the house, and finished it.
ಸೊಲೊಮೋನನು ಆಲಯವನ್ನು ಕಟ್ಟಿಸಿ, ತೀರಿಸಿದನು.
15 He built the walls of the house within with boards of cedar: from the floor of the house to the walls of the ceiling, he covered them on the inside with wood; and he covered the floor of the house with boards of fir.
ಆಲಯದ ಗೋಡೆಗಳ ಒಳಭಾಗಕ್ಕೆ ಮಂದಿರದ ನೆಲ ಮೊದಲುಗೊಂಡು ಗೋಡೆಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ಮಾಳಿಗೆಯವರೆಗೂ ದೇವದಾರು ಹಲಗೆಗಳಿಂದ ಕಟ್ಟಿಸಿದನು. ಒಳಭಾಗದಲ್ಲಿ ಮರದಿಂದ ಮುಚ್ಚಿ, ಆಲಯದ ನೆಲವನ್ನು ತುರಾಯಿ ಮರಗಳ ಹಲಗೆಗಳಿಂದ ಮುಚ್ಚಿದನು.
16 He built thirty-four feet and five inches on the back part of the house with boards of cedar from the floor to the beams, and he built this within as an inner sanctuary, the most holy place.
ಅವನು ಆಲಯದ ಕಡೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ 9 ಮೀಟರ್ ನೆಲವನ್ನೂ, ಗೋಡೆಗಳನ್ನೂ, ದೇವದಾರುಗಳ ಹಲಗೆಗಳಿಂದ ಒಂದು ಗೋಡೆಯನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿಸಿ ಅದರ ಹಿಂದಿನ ಭಾಗವನ್ನು ಅತಿ ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧಸ್ಥಳದ ಅಂಗನ ಅಥವಾ ಮಹಾಪರಿಶುದ್ಧ ಸ್ಥಳವೆಂದು ಕಟ್ಟಿಸಿದನು.
17 In front of the temple sanctuary was sixty-eight feet and eleven inches.
ಅದರ ಮುಂದಿರುವ ಮಂದಿರವಾಗಿರುವ ಆಲಯ 18 ಮೀಟರ್ ಉದ್ದವಾಗಿತ್ತು.
18 And the inside of the house was cedar, carved with buds and open flowers: all was cedar; there was no stone seen.
ಆಲಯದ ಒಳಗಿರುವ ದೇವದಾರು ಮೊಗ್ಗುಗಳೂ, ಅರಳಿದ ಹೂವುಗಳೂ ಕೆತ್ತಿದ ಕೆಲಸಗಳಾಗಿದ್ದವು. ಒಂದು ಕಲ್ಲಾದರೂ ಕಾಣಿಸದ ಹಾಗೆ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ದೇವದಾರದ್ದಾಗಿತ್ತು.
19 He prepared an inner sanctuary in the midst of the house within, to set there the ark of the covenant of the LORD.
ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರ ಒಡಂಬಡಿಕೆಯ ಮಂಜೂಷವನ್ನು ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಇರಿಸುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಆಲಯದ ಒಳಗೆ ದೈವೋಕ್ತಿಯ ಸ್ಥಾನವನ್ನು ಸಿದ್ಧಮಾಡಿಸಿದನು.
20 And before the sanctuary was thirty-four feet and five inches in length, and thirty-four feet and five inches in breadth, and thirty-four feet and five inches in its height; and he overlaid it with pure gold. And he made the altar of cedar.
ದೈವೋಕ್ತಿಯ ಸ್ಥಾನದ ಮುಂಭಾಗದ ಪ್ರಮಾಣವು, 9 ಮೀಟರ್ ಉದ್ದ, 9 ಮೀಟರ್ ಅಗಲ, 9 ಮೀಟರ್ ಎತ್ತರ ಇತ್ತು. ಅದನ್ನು ಶುದ್ಧ ಬಂಗಾರದಿಂದ ಹೊದಿಸಿದನು. ದೇವದಾರು ಮರದ ಪೀಠವನ್ನು ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಹೊದಿಸಿದನು.
21 So Solomon overlaid the house within with pure gold, and he drew chains of gold across, in front of the inner sanctuary, and he overlaid it with gold.
ಸೊಲೊಮೋನನು ಆಲಯದ ಒಳಭಾಗವನ್ನು ಶುದ್ಧ ಬಂಗಾರದಿಂದ ಹೊದಿಸಿ, ದೈವೋಕ್ತಿಯ ಸ್ಥಾನದ ಮುಂದೆ ಬಂಗಾರದ ಸರಪಣಿಗಳಿಂದ ವಿಭಾಗವನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿ, ಅದನ್ನು ಬಂಗಾರದಿಂದ ಹೊದಿಸಿದನು.
22 The whole house he overlaid with gold, until all the house was finished: also the whole altar that belonged to the inner sanctuary he overlaid with gold.
ಅವನು ಆಲಯವನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ಬಂಗಾರದಿಂದ ಹೊದಿಸಿ, ಸ್ಥಾನದ ಮುಂಭಾಗದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಪೀಠವನ್ನೂ ಬಂಗಾರದಿಂದ ಹೊದಿಸಿದನು.
23 In the inner sanctuary he made two cherubim of olive wood, each seventeen feet and three inches high.
ಅವನು ದೈವೋಕ್ತಿಯ ಸ್ಥಾನದಲ್ಲಿ ಹಿಪ್ಪೇಮರಗಳಿಂದ ಎರಡು ಕೆರೂಬಿಗಳನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿಸಿದನು. ಒಂದೊಂದು 4.4 ಮೀಟರ್ ಎತ್ತರವಾಗಿತ್ತು.
24 Eight feet and seven inches was the one wing of the cherub, and eight feet and seven inches the other wing of the cherub: from the uttermost part of the one wing to the uttermost part of the other were seventeen feet and three inches.
ಕೆರೂಬಿಗೆ ಇರುವ ಒಂದೊಂದು ರೆಕ್ಕೆ 2.2 ಮೀಟರ್ ಆಗಿತ್ತು. ಒಂದು ರೆಕ್ಕೆಯ ಕೊನೆ ಮೊದಲುಗೊಂಡು, ಮತ್ತೊಂದು ರೆಕ್ಕೆಯ ಕೊನೆಯವರೆಗೂ 4.4 ಮೀಟರ್ ಆಗಿತ್ತು.
25 The other cherub was seventeen feet and three inches: both the cherubim were of one measure and one form.
ಎರಡನೆಯ ಕೆರೂಬಿಯು 4.4 ಮೀಟರ್. ಎರಡು ಕೆರೂಬಿಗಳಿಗೂ ಒಂದೇ ಅಳತೆಯೂ, ಒಂದೇ ಪ್ರಮಾಣವೂ ಇತ್ತು.
26 The height of the one cherub was seventeen feet and three inches, and so was it of the other cherub.
ಒಂದು ಕೆರೂಬಿಯು 4.4 ಮೀಟರ್ ಎತ್ತರವಾಗಿತ್ತು. ಎರಡನೆಯ ಕೆರೂಬಿಯು ಅದರ ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಇತ್ತು.
27 He set the cherubim within the inner house; and the wings of the cherubim were stretched forth, so that the wing of the one touched the one wall, and the wing of the other cherub touched the other wall; and their wings touched one another in the midst of the house.
ಆ ಕೆರೂಬಿಗಳನ್ನು ದೇವಾಲಯದ ಒಳ ಮನೆಯೊಳಗೆ ಇಟ್ಟನು. ಆ ಕೆರೂಬಿಗಳು ರೆಕ್ಕೆಗಳನ್ನು ಚಾಚಿರುವುದರಿಂದ ಒಂದು ರೆಕ್ಕೆಯ ಈ ಭಾಗದ ಗೋಡೆಯನ್ನೂ, ಮತ್ತೊಂದು ಕೆರೂಬಿಯ ರೆಕ್ಕೆಯು ಆ ಭಾಗದ ಗೋಡೆಯನ್ನೂ ಮುಟ್ಟಿತು. ಆಲಯದ ಮಧ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಒಂದರ ರೆಕ್ಕೆ ಮತ್ತೊಂದರ ರೆಕ್ಕೆಯನ್ನು ಮುಟ್ಟಿತು.
28 He overlaid the cherubim with gold.
ಆ ಕೆರೂಬಿಗಳನ್ನು ಬಂಗಾರದ ತಗಡುಗಳಿಂದ ಹೊದಿಸಿದನು.
29 He carved all the walls of the house around with carved figures of cherubim and palm trees and open flowers, inside and outside.
ಅವನು ಆಲಯದ ಗೋಡೆಗಳ ಸುತ್ತಲೂ ಒಳ ಹೊರ ಭಾಗಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಕೆರೂಬಿಗಳನ್ನೂ, ಖರ್ಜೂರದ ಗಿಡಗಳನ್ನೂ, ಅರಳಿದ ಹೂವುಗಳ ಚಿತ್ರಗಳನ್ನು ಕೆತ್ತಿಸಿದನು.
30 The floor of the house he overlaid with gold, inside and outside.
ಆಲಯದ ಒಳಗಿನ ಮತ್ತು ಹೊರಗಿನ ನೆಲವನ್ನು ಬಂಗಾರ ತಗಡುಗಳಿಂದ ಹೊದಿಸಿದನು.
31 For the entrance of the inner sanctuary he made doors of olive wood: the lintel and door posts were a fifth part of the wall.
ಅವನು ದೈವೋಕ್ತಿಯ ಸ್ಥಾನದ ಬಾಗಿಲಿಗೆ ಹಿಪ್ಪೇಮರಗಳಿಂದ ಜೋಡು ಬಾಗಿಲುಗಳನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿಸಿದನು. ಚೌಕಟ್ಟು ಪಂಚಕೋನಗಳುಳ್ಳದ್ದಾಗಿತ್ತು.
32 So he made two doors of olive wood; and he carved on them carvings of cherubim and palm trees and open flowers, and overlaid them with gold; and he spread the gold on the cherubim, and on the palm trees.
ಹಿಪ್ಪೇಮರದ ಆ ಜೋಡು ಬಾಗಿಲುಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ಅವನು ಕೆರೂಬಿ, ಖರ್ಜೂರದ ವೃಕ್ಷ, ಅರಳಿದ ಹೂವು ಇವುಗಳ ಚಿತ್ರಗಳನ್ನು ಕೆತ್ತಿಸಿ, ಆ ಕೆರೂಬಿಗಳನ್ನೂ, ಖರ್ಜೂರ ಗಿಡಗಳನ್ನೂ, ಬಂಗಾರದ ತಗಡಿನಿಂದ ಹೊದಿಸಿದನು.
33 So also he made for the entrance of the temple door posts of olive wood, out of a fourth part of the wall;
ಅದೇ ರೀತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ, ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧಸ್ಥಳದ ಬಾಗಲಿಗೆ ಎಣ್ಣೇಮರದಿಂದ ಚತುಷ್ಕೋನದ ಚೌಕಟ್ಟನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿಸಿದನು.
34 and two doors of fir wood: the two leaves of the one door were folding, and the two leaves of the other door were folding.
ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ತುರಾಯಿ ಮರದ ಎರಡು ಬಾಗಿಲುಗಳನ್ನು ಇಡಿಸಿದನು. ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಂದು ಬಾಗಿಲು ಎರಡು ಭಾಗವುಳ್ಳದ್ದಾಗಿ ಮಡಚಬಹುದಾಗಿತ್ತು.
35 He carved cherubim and palm trees and open flowers; and he overlaid them with gold fitted on the engraved work.
ಅದರ ಮೇಲೆ ಕೆರೂಬಿಗಳ, ಖರ್ಜೂರ ಗಿಡಗಳ, ಅರಳಿದ ಹೂವುಗಳ ಚಿತ್ರಗಳನ್ನು ಕೆತ್ತಿಸಿದನು. ಈ ಕೆತ್ತನೆಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ಸಮವಾಗಿ ಬಂಗಾರದ ತಗಡನ್ನು ಹೊದಿಸಿದನು.
36 He built the inner court with three courses of cut stone, and a course of cedar beams.
ಅವನು ಒಳಗಿನ ಅಂಗಳವನ್ನು ಕೆತ್ತಿದ ಕಲ್ಲುಗಳಿಂದ ಮೂರು ಸಾಲುಗಳಾಗಿಯೂ ದೇವದಾರಿನ ಸ್ತಂಭಗಳಿಂದ ಒಂದು ಸಾಲಾಗಿಯೂ ಕಟ್ಟಿಸಿದನು.
37 In the fourth year was the foundation of the house of the LORD laid, in the month Ziv.
ನಾಲ್ಕನೆಯ ವರ್ಷದ ಜಿವ್ ತಿಂಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರ ಆಲಯದ ಅಸ್ತಿವಾರವು ಹಾಕಲಾಯಿತು.
38 In the eleventh year, in the month Bul, which is the eighth month, was the house finished throughout all its parts, and according to all its fashion. So was he seven years in building it.
ಹನ್ನೊಂದನೆಯ ವರ್ಷದ, ಎಂಟನೆಯ ತಿಂಗಳಾದ ಬೂಲ್ ಎಂಬ ಕಾರ್ತಿಕ ತಿಂಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಆ ದೇವಾಲಯದ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಭಾಗಗಳೂ ಯೋಜನೆಯ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಕಟ್ಟಲಾಯಿತು. ಹೀಗೆ ಅವನು ಏಳು ವರುಷಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಅದನ್ನು ಕಟ್ಟಿಸಿದನು.
