1 Yochanan 5
1 Whoever believes that Yeshua is the Messiah is born of God. Whoever loves the Father also loves the child who is born of him.
යීශුරභිෂික්තස්ත්‍රාතේති යඃ කශ්චිද් විශ්වාසිති ස ඊශ්වරාත් ජාතඃ; අපරං යඃ කශ්චිත් ජනයිතරි ප්‍රීයතේ ස තස්මාත් ජාතේ ජනේ (අ)පි ප්‍රීයතේ|
2 By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God and do his commandments.
වයම් ඊශ්වරස්‍ය සන්තානේෂු ප්‍රීයාමහේ තද් අනේන ජානීමෝ යද් ඊශ්වරේ ප්‍රීයාමහේ තස්‍යාඥාඃ පාලයාමශ්ච|
3 For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments. His commandments are not grievous.
යත ඊශ්වරේ යත් ප්‍රේම තත් තදීයාඥාපාලනේනාස්මාභිඃ ප්‍රකාශයිතව්‍යං, තස්‍යාඥාශ්ච කඨෝරා න භවන්ති|
4 For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. This is the victory that has overcome the world: our faith.
යතෝ යඃ කශ්චිද් ඊශ්වරාත් ජාතඃ ස සංසාරං ජයති කිඤ්චාස්මාකං යෝ විශ්වාසඃ ස ඒවාස්මාකං සංසාරජයිජයඃ|
5 Who is he who overcomes the world, but he who believes that Yeshua is the Son of God?
යීශුරීශ්වරස්‍ය පුත්‍ර ඉති යෝ විශ්වසිති තං විනා කෝ(අ)පරඃ සංසාරං ජයති?
6 This is he who came by water and blood, Yeshua the Messiah; not with the water only, but with the water and the blood. It is the Ruach who testifies, because the Ruach is the truth.
සෝ(අ)භිෂික්තස්ත්‍රාතා යීශුස්තෝයරුධිරාභ්‍යාම් ආගතඃ කේවලං තෝයේන නහි කින්තු තෝයරුධිරාභ්‍යාම්, ආත්මා ච සාක්‍ෂී භවති යත ආත්මා සත්‍යතාස්වරූපඃ|
7 For there are three who testify:
යතෝ හේතෝඃ ස්වර්ගේ පිතා වාදඃ පවිත්‍ර ආත්මා ච ත්‍රය ඉමේ සාක්‍ෂිණඃ සන්ති, ත්‍රය ඉමේ චෛකෝ භවන්ති|
8 the Ruach, the water, and the blood; and the three agree as one.
තථා පෘථිව්‍යාම් ආත්මා තෝයං රුධිරඤ්ච ත්‍රීණ්‍යේතානි සාක්‍ෂ්‍යං දදාති තේෂාං ත්‍රයාණාම් ඒකත්වං භවති ච|
9 If we accept human testimony, the witness of God is greater; for this is God's testimony that he has testified concerning his Son.
මානවානාං සාක්‍ෂ්‍යං යද්‍යස්මාභි ර්ගෘහ්‍යතේ තර්හීශ්වරස්‍ය සාක්‍ෂ්‍යං තස්මාදපි ශ්‍රේෂ්ඨං යතඃ ස්වපුත්‍රමධීශ්වරේණ දත්තං සාක්‍ෂ්‍යමිදං|
10 He who believes in the Son of God has the testimony in himself. He who does not believe God has made him a liar, because he has not believed in the testimony that God has given concerning his Son.
ඊශ්වරස්‍ය පුත්‍රේ යෝ විශ්වාසිති ස නිජාන්තරේ තත් සාක්‍ෂ්‍යං ධාරයති; ඊශ්වරේ යෝ න විශ්වසිති ස තම් අනෘතවාදිනං කරෝති යත ඊශ්වරඃ ස්වපුත්‍රමධි යත් සාක්‍ෂ්‍යං දත්තවාන් තස්මින් ස න විශ්වසිති|
11 The testimony is this, that God gave to us everlasting life, and this life is in his Son. (aiōnios g166)
තච්ච සාක්‍ෂ්‍යමිදං යද් ඊශ්වරෝ (අ)ස්මභ්‍යම් අනන්තජීවනං දත්තවාන් තච්ච ජීවනං තස්‍ය පුත්‍රේ විද්‍යතේ| (aiōnios g166)
12 He who has the Son has the life. He who does not have God's Son does not have the life.
යඃ පුත්‍රං ධාරයති ස ජීවනං ධාරියති, ඊශ්වරස්‍ය පුත්‍රං යෝ න ධාරයති ස ජීවනං න ධාරයති|
13 These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, that you may know that you have everlasting life. (aiōnios g166)
ඊශ්වරපුත්‍රස්‍ය නාම්නි යුෂ්මාන් ප්‍රත්‍යේතානි මයා ලිඛිතානි තස්‍යාභිප්‍රායෝ (අ)යං යද් යූයම් අනන්තජීවනප්‍රාප්තා ඉති ජානීයාත තස්‍යේශ්වරපුත්‍රස්‍ය නාම්නි විශ්වසේත ච| (aiōnios g166)
14 This is the boldness which we have toward him, that, if we ask anything according to his will, he listens to us.
තස්‍යාන්තිකේ (අ)ස්මාකං යා ප්‍රතිභා භවති තස්‍යාඃ කාරණමිදං යද් වයං යදි තස්‍යාභිමතං කිමපි තං යාචාමහේ තර්හි සෝ (අ)ස්මාකං වාක්‍යං ශෘණෝති|
15 And if we know that he listens to us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions which we have asked of him.
ස චාස්මාකං යත් කිඤ්චන යාචනං ශෘණෝතීති යදි ජානීමස්තර්හි තස්මාද් යාචිතා වරා අස්මාභිඃ ප්‍රාප්‍යන්තේ තදපි ජානීමඃ|
16 If anyone sees his brother sinning a sin not leading to death, he shall ask, and God will give him life for those who sin not leading to death. There is a sin leading to death. I do not say that he should make a request concerning this.
කශ්චිද් යදි ස්වභ්‍රාතරම් අමෘත්‍යුජනකං පාපං කුර්ව්වන්තං පශ්‍යති තර්හි ස ප්‍රාර්ථනාං කරෝතු තේනේශ්වරස්තස්මෛ ජීවනං දාස්‍යති, අර්ථතෝ මෘත්‍යුජනකං පාපං යේන නාකාරිතස්මෛ| කින්තු මෘත්‍යුජනකම් ඒකං පාපම් ආස්තේ තදධි තේන ප්‍රාර්ථනා ක්‍රියතාමිත්‍යහං න වදාමි|
17 All unrighteousness is sin, and there is a sin not leading to death.
සර්ව්ව ඒවාධර්ම්මඃ පාපං කින්තු සර්ව්වපාංප මෘත්‍යුජනකං නහි|
18 We know that whoever is born of God does not sin, but he who was born of God protects him, and the evil one does not touch him.
ය ඊශ්වරාත් ජාතඃ ස පාපාචාරං න කරෝති කින්ත්වීශ්වරාත් ජාතෝ ජනඃ ස්වං රක්‍ෂති තස්මාත් ස පාපාත්මා තං න ස්පෘශතීති වයං ජානීමඃ|
19 We know that we are of God, and the whole world lies in the power of the evil one.
වයම් ඊශ්වරාත් ජාතාඃ කින්තු කෘත්ස්නඃ සංසාරඃ පාපාත්මනෝ වශං ගතෝ (අ)ස්තීති ජානීමඃ|
20 We know that the Son of God has come, and has given us an understanding, that we know him who is true, and we are in him who is true, in his Son Yeshua the Messiah. He is the true God and eternal life. (aiōnios g166)
අපරම් ඊශ්වරස්‍ය පුත්‍ර ආගතවාන් වයඤ්ච යයා තස්‍ය සත්‍යමයස්‍ය ඥානං ප්‍රාප්නුයාමස්තාදෘශීං ධියම් අස්මභ්‍යං දත්තවාන් ඉති ජානීමස්තස්මින් සත්‍යමයේ (අ)ර්ථතස්තස්‍ය පුත්‍රේ යීශුඛ්‍රීෂ්ටේ තිෂ්ඨාමශ්ච; ස ඒව සත්‍යමය ඊශ්වරෝ (අ)නන්තජීවනස්වරූපශ්චාස්ති| (aiōnios g166)
21 Little children, keep yourselves from idols.
හේ ප්‍රියබාලකාඃ, යූයං දේවමූර්ත්තිභ්‍යඃ ස්වාන් රක්‍ෂත| ආමේන්|
