< 1 Corinthians 12 >

1 Now concerning spiritual things, brothers, I do not want you to be ignorant.
Wachalal, sibꞌalaj kawaj chi qas kichꞌobꞌ rij jas ubꞌanik ri ukwinem ri Uxlabꞌixel.
2 You know that when you were unbelievers, you were led away to those mute idols, however you might be led.
Iwetaꞌm chi nabꞌe kanoq xaq kiya iwibꞌ kixchararex bꞌik chubꞌanik ri jastaq chikiwach ri e bꞌanom taq tyox.
3 Therefore I make known to you that no one speaking by God's Ruach says, "Yeshua is accursed." No one can say, "Yeshua is Lord," but by the Ruach ha-Kodesh.
Rumal riꞌ kinbꞌij chiꞌwe chi man kꞌo ta jun ri kubꞌij chi tajin katzijon pa ri Uxlabꞌixel, kubꞌij itzel taq tzij o karetzelaj uwach ri Jesús. Xuqujeꞌ maj jun kakwinik kubꞌij “ri Jesús are wAjaw,” we man kꞌo ri Tyox laj Uxlabꞌixel che.
4 Now there are various kinds of gifts, but the same Ruach.
Qilampeꞌ, sibꞌalaj kꞌi uwach ri ukwinem ri Uxlabꞌixel kꞌolik, are kꞌu ri Uxlabꞌixel xa jun.
5 There are various kinds of service, and the same Lord.
Sibꞌalaj kꞌi uwach patanijik kꞌolik, ri Ajawxel kꞌut xa jun.
6 There are various kinds of workings, but the same God, who works all things in all.
Sibꞌalaj kꞌi uwach ri chak kꞌolik, xa kꞌu jun Dios ri kabꞌanow ronojel we jastaq riꞌ.
7 But to each one is given the manifestation of the Ruach for the profit of all.
Chi kijujunal yaꞌtal jun sipanik rech ri Uxlabꞌixel chike, rech jeriꞌ keꞌkitoꞌ nikꞌaj chik.
8 For to one is given through the Ruach the word of wisdom, and to another the word of knowledge, according to the same Ruach;
Ri Dios xuya chike jujun pa ri Uxlabꞌal tzij rech noꞌj, chike nikꞌaj chik tzij rech etaꞌmabꞌal,
9 to another faith, by the same Ruach; and to another gifts of healings, by the one Ruach;
chike nikꞌaj chik, xubꞌan chike kakubꞌiꞌ kikꞌuꞌx chirij ri kubꞌij ri Dios pa ri Uxlabꞌixel; nikꞌaj chik xyaꞌtaj chike ri sipanik rech keꞌkikunaj yawabꞌibꞌ;
10 and to another workings of miracles; and to another prophecy; and to another discernings of spirits; to another different kinds of tongues; and to another the interpretation of tongues.
nikꞌaj chik, kwinem chubꞌanik mayijabꞌal taq jastaq; nikꞌaj chik kakiqꞌalajisaj ri xubꞌij ri Dios chike; e nikꞌaj chik kakichꞌobꞌ rij jastaq uwach ri uꞌxlabꞌal; nikꞌaj chik ketzijon pa juleꞌ taq tzijobꞌal chik, chike nikꞌaj chik xyaꞌtaj chike xux e qꞌaxel taq tzij.
11 But the one and the same Ruach works all of these, distributing to each one separately as he desires.
Xa jun Uxlabꞌal kabꞌanow ronojel we riꞌ, Areꞌ kajachow chike konojel jas na kꞌu ri kataqiꞌk chike karilo.
12 For as the body is one, and has many members, and all the members of the body, being many, are one body; so also is Messiah.
Qas tzij wi, pune ri tyoꞌjal xa jun, sibꞌalaj kꞌi wokol wi, pune sibꞌalaj kꞌi wokol wiꞌ, xa jun tyoꞌjal kaꞌnik. Je kꞌu riꞌ kakꞌulmataj rukꞌ ri Cristo.
13 For in one Ruach we were all immersed into one body, whether Jews or Greeks, whether bond or free; and were all given to drink of one Ruach.
Qonojel xbꞌan qaqasanaꞌ xa pa jun Uxlabꞌal rech jeriꞌ xa jun tyoꞌj kujuxik, pune uj aꞌj Israel o man uj aꞌj Israel taj, we uj kiritajinaq chik o uj ajchak rech jun chik, xuqujeꞌ xya chaqe xujqumun che xa jun Uxlabꞌal.
14 For the body is not one member, but many.
Ri utyoꞌjal jun winaq man xa ta jun jastaq wokol wi, xane sibꞌalaj kꞌi wokowinaq.
15 If the foot would say, "Because I'm not a hand, I'm not part of the body," that would not make it less a part of the body.
We ta kubꞌij ri aqanaj: In man inqꞌabꞌaj taj rumal riꞌ man in rech ta ri utyoꞌjal ri winaq, man kel ta kubꞌij riꞌ chi xel bꞌik che ri utyoꞌjal ri winaq.
16 And if the ear would say, "Because I'm not the eye, I'm not part of the body," that would not make it less a part of the body.
Xuqujeꞌ we ta kubꞌij ri xikinaj: “Man in bꞌoqꞌochaj ta in, rumal riꞌ man in rech ta ri utyoꞌjal ri winaq.” Man rumal ta riꞌ xel bꞌik che ri utyoꞌjal ri winaq.
17 If the whole body were an eye, where would the hearing be? If the whole were an ear, where would the sense of smell be?
We ta ronojel ri utyoꞌjal jun winaq xa jun bꞌoqꞌochaj, ¿jas kꞌu kakꞌulmataj riꞌ rukꞌ ri xikinaj? We ta ronojel ri utyoꞌjal ri winaq xa jun xikinaj, ¿jas kꞌu kakꞌulmataj riꞌ rukꞌ ri usiqobꞌal?
18 But as a matter of fact, God has arranged the members of the body, each one of them, according to his design.
Qas tzij, ri Dios xuwok ri utyoꞌjal ri winaq jetaq ri xraj xubꞌan che.
19 If they were all the same member, where would the body be?
We ta xa jun uwach xukoj pa ri utyoꞌjal ri winaq, ¿jas kakꞌulmataj riꞌ?
20 So now there are many members, but one body.
Qas tzij wi, sibꞌalaj kꞌi wokol wi ri utyoꞌjal ri winaq, ri utyoꞌjal kꞌu ri winaq xa jun ubꞌanik.
21 The eye cannot say to the hand, "I have no need for you," or again the head to the feet, "I have no need for you."
Man kakwin ta ri bꞌoqꞌochaj kubꞌij che ri qꞌabꞌaj: Man katajawataj ta chwe. Xuqujeꞌ man kakwin ta ri jolomaj kubꞌij che ri aqanaj: Man katajawataj ta chwe.
22 On the contrary, those members which seem to be weaker are essential,
Xane ri utzꞌaqat ri tyoꞌjal ri man qas ta kꞌo kupatanij kabꞌantajik, are qas kꞌo kutayij,
23 and the parts which we think less honorable we treat with greater honor, and our unpresentable parts are treated with dignity,
are kꞌu ri utzꞌaqatil ri qatyoꞌjal ri man qas ta kꞌo uqꞌij chiqawach, sibꞌalaj nim kaqilo, rumal riꞌ sibꞌalaj keꞌqawokokej. Xuqujeꞌ sibꞌalaj utz kabꞌan chikilik ri utzꞌaqatil ri tyoꞌjal ri man qas ta jeꞌ kebꞌantajik,
24 whereas our presentable parts have no such need. But God has put the body together, giving greater honor to the lesser member,
Are kꞌu ri sibꞌalaj jeꞌl kebꞌantajik man rajawaxik taj sibꞌalaj kewiqiqexik. Jeriꞌ ubꞌanom ri Dios chike ri utzꞌaqatil ri qatyoꞌjal, uyaꞌom nim kiqꞌij ri sibꞌalaj man nim ta kiqꞌij.
25 that there may be no division in the body, but that the members should have the same concern for one another.
Rech jeriꞌ man kꞌo ta paꞌin ibꞌ pa ri ityoꞌjal xane konojel ri utzꞌaqat ri ityoꞌjal kakꞌaxir kikꞌuꞌx chike ri nikꞌaj chik.
26 When one member suffers, all the members suffer with it. If a member is honored, all rejoice with it.
We kuriq kꞌax, jun chike ri utzꞌaqat ri tyoꞌjal, kakinaꞌ kꞌax riꞌ ri nikꞌaj chik rukꞌ; we jun chike kaya uqꞌij, konojel ri utzꞌaqat ri tyoꞌjal kekiꞌkot rukꞌ.
27 Now you are the body of Christ, and members individually.
Ri ix kꞌut ix utyoꞌjal ri Cristo, ijujunal chiꞌwe ix utzꞌaqat ri tyoꞌjal riꞌ.
28 God has set some in the church: first apostles, second prophets, third teachers, then miracle workers, then gifts of healings, helps, governments, and various kinds of tongues.
29 Are all apostles? Are all prophets? Are all teachers? Are all miracle workers?
¿La man konojel e taqoꞌn? ¿La man konojel e qꞌalajisal taq tzij? ¿La konojel kꞌut aꞌjtijabꞌ? ¿La konojel kꞌut kakibꞌan mayijabꞌal taq jastaq?
30 Do all have gifts of healings? Do all speak with tongues? Do all interpret?
31 But earnestly desire the greater gifts. Moreover, I show a most excellent way to you.
Ri ix kꞌut chirayij ri qas sibꞌalaj utz chike ri sipanik. Chanim kꞌut kinkꞌut chiꞌwach ri jun jeꞌl laj bꞌe.
