1 Corinthians 1
1 Paul, called to be an emissary of Messiah Yeshua by the will of God, and our brother Sosthenes,
१देवाच्या इच्छेप्रमाणे ख्रिस्त येशूचा प्रेषित होण्याकरता बोलावलेला, पौल आणि बंधू सोस्थनेस यांजकडून,
2 to the congregation of God which is at Corinth, to those who are sanctified in Messiah Yeshua, called to be kadoshim, with all who call on the name of our Lord Yeshua the Messiah in every place, both theirs and ours:
२करिंथ शहरात असलेल्या देवाच्या मंडळीस, म्हणजे ख्रिस्त येशूमध्ये पवित्र केलेले आणि पवित्रजन होण्यास बोलावलेले आहेत त्यांना व आपला प्रभू येशू ख्रिस्त, म्हणजे त्यांचा व आमचाही प्रभू, याचे नाव सर्व ठिकाणी घेणाऱ्या सर्व लोकांस,
3 Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Yeshua the Messiah.
३देव आपला पिता आणि प्रभू येशू ख्रिस्त यापासून कृपा व शांती असो.
4 I always thank my God concerning you, for the grace of God which was given you in Messiah Yeshua;
४ख्रिस्त येशूमध्ये तुमच्यावर झालेल्या देवाच्या कृपेबद्दल मी सतत तुमच्यासाठी माझ्या देवाचे उपकार मानतो.
5 that in everything you were enriched in him, in all speech and all knowledge;
५त्याने तुम्हास प्रत्येक बाबतीत, सर्व बोलण्यात व सर्व ज्ञानात समृद्ध केले आहे.
6 even as the testimony of Messiah was confirmed in you:
६जशी ख्रिस्ताविषयी साक्ष खरी असल्याची खात्री तुम्हामध्ये झाली तसल्याच प्रकारे त्याने तुम्हासही संपन्न केले आहे.
7 so that you are not lacking in any gift, as you wait for our Lord Yeshua the Messiah to be revealed;
७म्हणून तुम्हांत कोणत्याही आत्मिक दानाची कमतरता नाही, तर तुम्ही आपल्या प्रभू येशू ख्रिस्ताच्या प्रकट होण्याची वाट पाहता.
8 who will also strengthen you to the end, blameless in the day of our Lord Yeshua the Messiah.
८तोच तुम्हास शेवटपर्यंत दृढ देखील राखील, जेणेकरून आपल्या प्रभू येशूच्या ख्रिस्ताच्या दिवशी तुम्ही निर्दोष असावे.
9 God is faithful, through whom you were called into the fellowship of his Son, Yeshua the Messiah, our Lord.
९ज्याने आपला पुत्र येशू ख्रिस्त, आपला प्रभू याच्या सहभागितेत तुम्हास बोलावले होते, तो देव विश्वासू आहे.
10 Now I appeal to you, brothers, in the name of our Lord Yeshua the Messiah, that all of you be in agreement, so that there may be no divisions among you, and to be united by the same mind and conviction.
१०तर आता, बंधूनो, प्रभू येशू ख्रिस्ताच्या नावामध्ये मी तुम्हास विनंती करतो की, तुम्ही सर्वांनी एकमेकांशी सारख्या मनाने एकत्र व्हावे आणि तुमच्यात मतभेद असू नयेत, तर तुम्ही एकाच हेतूने परिपूर्ण व्हावे.
11 For it has been reported to me concerning you, my brothers, by those who are from Chloe's household, that there are contentions among you.
११कारण माझ्या बंधूनो ख्लोवेच्या मनुष्यांकडून मला असे कळविण्यात आले की, तुमच्यात भांडणे आहेत.
12 Now I mean this, that each one of you says, "I follow Paul," "I follow Apollos," "I follow Kefa," and, "I follow Messiah."
१२माझे म्हणणे असे आहे की तुमच्यातील प्रत्येकजण म्हणतो, “मी पौलाचा आहे.” “मी अपुल्लोचा आहे,” “मी केफाचा आहे,” “मी ख्रिस्ताचा आहे.”
13 Is Messiah divided? Was Paul crucified for you? Or were you immersed into the name of Paul?
१३ख्रिस्त विभागला गेला आहे का? पौल वधस्तंभावर तुमच्यासाठी खिळला गेला होता का? पौलाच्या नावाने तुमचा बाप्तिस्मा झाला का?
14 I thank God that I immersed none of you, except Crispus and Gaius,
१४मी देवाचे आभार मानतो की, क्रिस्प व गायस यांच्याशिवाय मी कोणाचाही बाप्तिस्मा केला नाही.
15 so that no one should say that you had been immersed into my own name.
१५यासाठी की, माझ्या नावात तुमचा बाप्तिस्मा करण्यात आला, असे कोणीही म्हणू नये.
16 (Now I also immersed the household of Stephanas; beyond that, I do not know whether I immersed any other.)
१६स्तेफनाच्या घरच्यांचा सुद्धा मी बाप्तिस्मा केला, याव्यतिरीक्त, तर इतर कोणाचाही बाप्तिस्मा केल्याचे मला आठवत नाही.
17 For Messiah sent me not to immerse, but to preach the Good News—not in wisdom of words, so that the cross of the Messiah would not be made void.

18 For the message about the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God.

19 For it is written, "I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, and the discernment of the discerning I will nullify."
१९कारण असे नियमशास्त्रात लिहिले आहे, “शहाण्यांचे शहाणपण मी नष्ट करीन आणि बुद्धिवंताची बुद्धि मी व्यर्थ करीन.”
20 Where is the wise? Where is the scribe? Where is the debater of this age? Hasn't God made foolish the wisdom of the world? (aiōn g165)
२०ज्ञानी मनुष्य कोठे आहे? विद्वान कोठे आहे? या जगातील वाद घालणारा कोठे आहे? देवाने जगाचे ज्ञान मूर्खपणाचे ठरवले नाही का? (aiōn g165)
21 For seeing that in the wisdom of God, the world through its wisdom did not know God, it was God's good pleasure through the foolishness of the preaching to save those who believe.
२१म्हणून, देवाचे ज्ञान असतानाही, या जगाला स्वतःच्या ज्ञानाने देवाला ओळखता आले नाही, तेव्हा आम्ही जो “मूर्खपणाचा” संदेश गाजवितो त्यामुळे जे विश्वास ठेवणारे आहेत त्यांचे तारण करण्याचे देवाला बरे वाटले.
22 For Jews ask for signs, and Greeks seek after wisdom,
२२कारण अनेक यहूदी लोक चमत्काराची चिन्हे विचारतात आणि ग्रीक लोक ज्ञानाचा शोध घेतात,
23 but we preach Messiah crucified, a stumbling block to Jews and foolishness to the non-Jews,
२३परंतु आम्ही वधस्तंभावर खिळलेला ख्रिस्त गाजवितो. हा संदेश यहूदी लोकांसाठी अडखळण आणि ग्रीकांसाठी मूर्खपणा असा आहे.
24 but to those who are called, both Jews and Greeks, Messiah is the power of God and the wisdom of God.
२४परंतु ज्यांना बोलावलेले आहे, अशा यहूदी व ग्रीक दोघांसही ख्रिस्त हा संदेश आहे तो देवाचे सामर्थ्य व देवाचे ज्ञान असाही आहे.
25 Because the foolishness of God is wiser than man's, and the weakness of God is stronger than man's.
२५तथापि ज्यांस तुम्ही देवाचा “मूर्खपणा” म्हणता ते मानव प्राण्याच्या शहाणपणापेक्षा अधिक शहाणपणाचे आहे आणि ज्यांस तुम्ही देवाचा “दुर्बळपणा” समजता ते मानव प्राण्याच्या सशक्तपणाहून अधिक शक्तीशाली आहे.
26 For consider your calling, brothers, that not many were wise from a human perspective, not many powerful, not many of noble birth.
२६तर आता बंधूनो, देवाने तुम्हास केलेल्या पाचारणाबद्दल विचार करा. मानवी दृष्टिकोनातून तुमच्यातील पुष्कळसे शहाणे, सामर्थ्यशाली, उच्च कुळातले नव्हते,
27 But God chose the foolish of the world to shame the wise. And God chose the weak of the world to shame the strong.
२७त्याऐवजी जगातले जे मूर्ख त्यांना देवाने निवडले, यासाठी की, शहाण्या मनुष्यास फजित करावे.
28 And God chose the lowly of the world, and the despised, what is considered to be nothing, to bring to nothing what is considered to be something,
२८कारण जगातील देवाने दीन, तुच्छ मानलेले, जे “नगण्य” त्यांना निवडले. यासाठी की जे “काहीतरी” आहेत त्यांना नगण्य करावे.
29 that no flesh might boast before God.

30 And because of him you are in Messiah Yeshua, who became for us wisdom from God, and righteousness and sanctification and redemption,
३०कारण तो ख्रिस्त येशूमध्ये तुमच्या जीवनाचा उगम आहे व तो देवाची देणगी म्हणून आपले ज्ञान, आपले नीतिमत्त्व, आपले पवित्रीकरण आणि आपली मुक्ती असा झाला आहे.
31 so that, as it is written, "Let him who boasts, boast in the Lord."
३१यासाठी की नियमशास्त्रात असे लिहिले आहे, “जो अभिमान बाळगतो त्याने परमेश्वराविषयी बाळगावा.”
