Romans 12
1 Therefore I urge you, brothers, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service.
ASÍ que, hermanos, os ruego por las misericordias de Dios que presenteis vuestros cuerpos en sacrificio vivo, santo, agradable á Dios, [que es] vuestro racional culto.
2 And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what is the good, well-pleasing, and perfect will of God. (aiōn g165)
Y no os conformeis á este siglo; mas reformáos por la renovacion de vuestro entendimiento, para que experimenteis cual [sea] la buena voluntad de Dios, agradable y perfecta. (aiōn g165)
3 For I say, through the grace that was given me, to everyone among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think, but to think with sober judgment, as God has apportioned to each person a measure of faith.
Digo pues, por la gracia que me es dada, á cada cual que está entre vosotros, que no tenga más alto concepto [de sí] que el que debe tener, sino que piense [de sí] con templanza, conforme á la medida de fé que Dios repartió á cada uno.
4 For even as we have many members in one body, and all the members do not have the same function,
Porque de la manera que en un cuerpo tenemos muchos miembros, empero todos los miembros no tienen la misma operacion,
5 so we, who are many, are one body in Messiah, and individually members one of another.
Así muchos somos un cuerpo en Cristo, mas todos, miembros los unos de los otros.
6 And we have different gifts according to the grace that was given to us. If prophecy, according to the proportion of the faith;
De manera que teniendo diferentes dones segun la gracia que nos es dada si [el de] profecía, [úsese] conforme á la medida de la fé;
7 if service, in the service; if teaching, in the teaching;
O si ministerio, en servir; ó el que enseña, en doctrina;
8 if exhorting, in exhortation; giving, in generosity; leading, in diligence; showing mercy, in cheerfulness.
El que exhorta, en exhortar; el que reparte, [hágalo] en simplicidad; el que preside, con solicitud, el que hace misericordia, con alegría.
9 Let love be without hypocrisy. Abhor that which is evil. Cling to that which is good.
El amor sea sin fingimiento, aborreciendo lo malo, llegándoos á lo bueno:
10 In love of the brothers be tenderly affectionate one to another; outdo one another in showing honor;
Amándoos los unos á los otros con caridad fraternal; previniéndoos con honra los unos á los otros;
11 not lagging in diligence; fervent in spirit; serving the Lord;
En el cuidado no perezosos, ardientes en espíritu, sirviendo al Señor;
12 rejoicing in hope; enduring in troubles; continuing steadfastly in prayer;
Gozosos en la esperanza; sufridos en la tribulacion; constantes en la oracion;
13 contributing to the needs of the saints; given to hospitality.
Comunicando á las necesidades de los santos; siguiendo la hospitalidad.
14 Bless those who persecute you; bless, and do not curse.
Bendecid á los que os persiguen: bendecid, y no maldigais.
15 Rejoice with those who rejoice. Weep with those who weep.
Gozáos con los que se gozan, llorad con los que lloran.
16 Live in harmony with one another. Do not be arrogant, but associate with the humble. Do not be conceited.
Unánimes entre vosotros: no altivos; mas acomodándoos á los humildes. No seais sabios en vuestra opinion.
17 Repay no one evil for evil. Respect what is honorable in the sight of all people.
No pagueis á nadie mal por mal: procurad lo bueno delante de todos los hombres.
18 If it is possible, as much as it is up to you, be at peace with all people.
Si se puede hacer, cuanto está en vosotros, tened paz con todos los hombres.
19 Do not seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but leave room for the wrath. For it is written, "Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord."
No os vengueis vosotros mismos amados [mios; ] ántes dad lugar á la ira porque escrito está: Mia es la venganza, yo pagaré, dice el Señor.
20 Therefore "If your enemy is hungry, feed him. If he is thirsty, give him a drink; for by doing this you will heap coals of fire on his head."
Así que, si tu enemigo tuviere hambre, dále de comer, si tuviere sed, dále de beber; que haciendo esto, ascuas de fuego amontonas sobre su cabeza.
21 Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.
No seas vencido de lo malo, mas vence con el bien el mal.
