Psalms 99

1 The LORD reigns. Let the peoples tremble. He sits enthroned among the cherubim; the earth shakes.

INkosi iyabusa; abantu kabathuthumele; ihlezi phakathi kwamakherubhi; umhlaba kawuzamazame.

2 The LORD is great in Zion. He is high above all the peoples.

INkosi yinkulu eZiyoni; njalo iphakeme phezu kwezizwe zonke.

3 Let them praise your great and awesome name. He is Holy.

Kazidumise ibizo lakho elikhulu lelesabekayo; lingcwele lona.

4 The King's strength also loves justice. You do establish equity. You execute justice and righteousness in Jacob.

Lamandla eNkosi athanda isahlulelo; wena umisa ukuqonda; wena wenza isahlulelo lokulunga kuJakobe.

5 Exalt the LORD our God. Worship at his footstool. He is Holy.

Phakamisani iNkosi uNkulunkulu wethu, likhonze esenabelweni sezinyawo zayo. Ingcwele yona.

6 Moses and Aaron were among his priests, Samuel among those who call on his name; they called on the LORD, and he answered them.

UMozisi loAroni phakathi kwabapristi bayo, loSamuweli phakathi kwababiza ibizo layo, babiza iNkosi, yona yasibaphendula.

7 He spoke to them in the pillar of cloud. They kept his testimonies, the statute that he gave them.

Yakhuluma labo iphakathi kwensika yeyezi; bagcina izifakazelo zayo lesimiso eyabanika sona.

8 You answered them, LORD our God. You are a God who forgave them, although you took vengeance for their doings.

Nkosi Nkulunkulu wethu, wena wabaphendula; waba nguNkulunkulu obathethelelayo, lanxa uphindisela ezenzweni zabo.

9 Exalt the LORD, our God. Worship at his holy mountain, for the LORD, our God, is holy.

Phakamisani iNkosi uNkulunkulu wethu, likhonze entabeni yayo engcwele; ngoba iNkosi uNkulunkulu wethu ingcwele.
