Psalms 84
1 [For the Chief Musician. On an instrument of Gath. A Psalm by the sons of Korah.] How lovely are your dwellings, LORD of hosts.
Kako su mili stanovi tvoji, Gospode nad silama!
2 My soul longs, yes, yearns for the courts of the LORD. My heart and my flesh cry out for the living God.
Gine duša moja želeæi u dvore Gospodnje; srce moje i tijelo moje otima se k Bogu živome.
3 Yes, the sparrow has found a home, and the swallow a nest for herself, where she may have her young, near your altars, LORD of hosts, my King, and my God.
I ptica nahodi kuæu, i lastavica gnijezdo sebi gdje leže ptiæe svoje, kod oltara tvojih, Gospode nad silama, care moj i Bože moj!
4 Blessed are those who dwell in your house. They are ever praising you. (Selah)
Blago onima koji žive u domu tvom! Oni te hvale bez prestanka.
5 Blessed are those whose strength is in you, who have set their hearts on a pilgrimage.
Blago onima kojima je (sila) u tebi, i kojima su u srcu putovi tvoji!
6 Passing through the Valley of Baca, he makes it into a spring. Yes, the autumn rain covers it with blessings.
Iduæi dolinom plaèevnom, pretvaraju je u izvore, i dažd je odijeva blagoslovima.
7 They go from strength to strength. Everyone of them appears before God in Zion.
Idu zbor za zborom, javljaju se pred Bogom na Sionu.
8 LORD, God of hosts, hear my prayer. Listen, God of Jacob. (Selah)
Gospode, Bože nad silama! usliši molitvu moju, Bože Jakovljev!
9 Look, God our shield, look at the face of your anointed.
Bože, branièu naš! sagni se i vidi lice pomazanika svojega!
10 For a day in your courts is better than a thousand. I would rather be a doorkeeper in the house of God, than to dwell in the tents of wickedness.
Jer je bolje jedan dan u dvorima tvojim od hiljade. Volim biti na pragu doma Božijega nego živjeti u šatorima bezbožnièkim.
11 For the LORD God is a sun and a shield. The LORD will give grace and glory. He withholds no good thing from those who walk blamelessly.
Jer je Gospod Bog sunce i štit, Gospod daje blagodat i slavu; onima koji hode u bezazlenosti ne ukraæuje nijednoga dobra.
12 LORD of hosts, blessed is the man who trusts in you.
Gospode nad silama! blago èovjeku, koji se u te uzda!
