< Psalms 83 >

1 [A song. A Psalm by Asaph.] God, do not be silent. Do not be deaf, and do not be inactive, God.
Asaf Dwom. Ao, Onyankopɔn, ntena hɔ komm; mmua wʼano, Ao, Onyankopɔn, keka wo ho.
2 For, look, your enemies make an uproar. Those who hate you are hostile.
Hwɛ sɛnea wʼatamfo keka wɔn ho fa, na wɔn a wɔmpɛ wʼasɛm nso ama wɔn ti so.
3 They devise crafty plans against your people, and conspire together against your treasured ones.
Wɔde anifere repam atia wo nkurɔfo, wɔrepam atia wɔn a wo koma da wɔn so no.
4 They say, "Come, and let us annihilate them as a nation; let the name of Israel may be remembered no more."
Wɔka se, “Mommra na yɛnsɛe wɔn sɛ ɔman, sɛnea wɔrenkae Israel din bio.”
5 For they plot a unified strategy; they make a covenant against you;
Wɔde adwene koro bɔ pɔw; na wɔpam tia wo,
6 the tents of Edom and the Ishmaelites, Moab, and the Hagrites,
Edom ntamadan ne Ismaelfo, Moabfo ne Hagarfo,
7 Gebal, Ammon, and Amalek, Philistia with the inhabitants of Tyre.
Gebalfo ne Amonfo ne Amalekfo, Filistifo ne Tirofo.
8 Assyria too is joined with them; they lend support to the descendants of Lot. (Selah)
Asiria mpo akɔka wɔn ho de wɔn ahoɔden akɔhyɛ Lot asefo de no mu den.
9 Do to them as you did to Midian, as to Sisera, as to Jabin at the Kishon River,
Yɛ wɔn sɛnea woyɛɛ Midian, sɛnea woyɛɛ Sisera ne Yabin wɔ asubɔnten Kison ho no,
10 who were destroyed at Endor, who became manure for the ground.
wɔn a wɔsɛe wɔ En-Dor na wɔdan nwura no.
11 Make their nobles like Oreb and Zeeb, all their princes like Zebah and Zalmunna,
Yɛ wɔn atitiriw sɛ Oreb ne Seeb, ne wɔn mmapɔmma nyinaa sɛ Seba ne Salmuna,
12 who said, "Let us take possession for ourselves the pastures of God."
a wɔkae se, “Momma yɛmfa Onyankopɔn adidibea nsase no no.”
13 My God, make them like tumbleweed; like dead weeds blown by the wind.
Me Nyankopɔn, yɛ wɔn sɛ mfɛtɛ mu mfutuma, sɛ ntɛtɛ a mframa bɔ gu.
14 Like a fire that consumes a forest, and like the flames that consume the mountains,
Sɛnea ogya hyew kwae, na ogyatannaa so nkoko mu hyew no no,
15 so pursue them with your gale winds, and terrify them with your storm.
saa ara na fa wʼahum taa wɔn na fa wo mframa a ano yɛ den no hunahuna wɔn.
16 Cover their faces with shame, so that they might seek your name, LORD.
Ma animguase nka wɔn, na ama nnipa ahwehwɛ wo din akyi kwan, Awurade.
17 Let them be put to shame and terrified forever; let them perish in disgrace,
Ma wɔn anim ngu ase na wonni yaw; ma wonwuwu wɔ animguase mu.
18 that they will know that you alone, whose name is the LORD, are the Most High over all the earth.
Ma wonhu sɛ wo a wo din de Awurade no, wo nko ara ne Ɔsorosoroni wɔ asase nyinaa so.
