< Psalms 80 >

1 [For the Chief Musician. To the tune of "The Lilies of the Covenant." A Psalm by Asaph.] Hear us, Shepherd of Israel, you who lead Joseph like a flock, you who sit above the cherubim, shine forth.
Ya Mukulu wa Bayimbi. Ku ddoboozi, “Amalanga g’Endagaano.” Zabbuli ya Asafu. Wulira, Ayi Omusumba wa Isirayiri; ggwe akulembera Yusufu ng’alunda ekisibo kyo; ggwe atudde ku ntebe ey’obwakabaka mu bakerubi, twakire.
2 Before Ephraim and Benjamin and Manasseh, stir up your might. Come to save us.
Amaanyi go galabike mu Efulayimu, ne mu Benyamini ne mu Manase, ojje otulokole.
3 Restore us, God. Cause your face to shine, and we will be saved.
Tukomyewo gy’oli, Ayi Katonda, otutunuulize amaaso ag’ekisa, otulokole.
4 LORD God of hosts, How long will you be angry against the prayer of your people?
Ayi Katonda, Mukama ow’Eggye, olituusa ddi okusunguwalira okusaba kw’abantu bo?
5 You have fed them with the bread of tears, and given them tears to drink in large measure.
Wabaliisa emmere ejjudde amaziga; n’obanywesa ebikopo by’amaziga musera.
6 You make us a source of contention to our neighbors. Our enemies have mocked us.
Otufudde eky’okusekererwa mu baliraanwa baffe, n’abalabe baffe ne batuduulira.
7 Restore us, God of hosts. Cause your face to shine, and we will be saved.
Tukomyewo gy’oli, Ayi Mukama ow’Eggye, otutunuulize amaaso go ag’ekisa, tulokolebwe.
8 You brought a vine out of Egypt. You drove out the nations, and planted it.
Waleeta omuzabbibu ng’oguggya mu Misiri; n’ogobamu amawanga agaali mu nsi muno n’ogusimba.
9 You cleared the ground for it. It took deep root, and filled the land.
Wagulongooseza ettaka, ne gumera, emirandira ne ginywera bulungi, ne gwagaagala mu nsi.
10 The mountains were covered with its shadow. Its boughs were like God's cedars.
Ekisiikirize kyagwo ne kibikka ensozi, n’amatabi gaagwo ne gaba ng’emivule egy’amaanyi.
11 It sent out its branches to the sea, Its shoots to the River.
Amatabi gaagwo ne gatuuka ku Nnyanja eya Wakati n’amatabi g’ennyanja gaayo ne gatuuka ku Mugga Fulaati.
12 Why have you broken down its walls, so that all those who pass by the way pluck it?
Kale wamenyera ki ebisenge byagwo, abayitawo bonna ne beenogera ebibala byagwo?
13 The boar out of the wood ravages it. The wild animals of the field feed on it.
Embizzi ez’omu kibira zigwonoona, na buli nsolo ey’omu nsiko egulya.
14 Return, we beg you, God of hosts. Look down from heaven, and see, and visit this vine,
Tukyukire, Ayi Katonda ow’Eggye, otunuulire ensi ng’osinziira mu ggulu; olabirire omuzabbibu guno.
15 the stock which your right hand planted, the branch that you made strong for yourself.
Gwe wagwesimbira n’omukono gwo ogwa ddyo, era ggwe weerondera omwana wo.
16 It's burned with fire. It's cut down. They perish at your rebuke.
Bagutemye, ne bagwokya omuliro; abakoze ekyo banenye mu bukambwe, obazikirize.
17 Let your hand be on the man of your right hand, on the son of man whom you made strong for yourself.
Naye muwe amaanyi omusajja oyo gw’oyagala era omwana oyo gwe weerondera.
18 So we will not turn away from you. Revive us, and we will call on your name.
Bwe tutyo tuleme okukuvaako, n’okukukuba amabega. Otuzzeemu amaanyi, naffe tunaakoowoolanga erinnya lyo.
19 Restore us, LORD God of hosts. Cause your face to shine, and we will be saved.
