Psalms 8

1 [For the Chief Musician; on an instrument of Gath. A Psalm by David.] LORD, our Lord, how majestic is your name in all the earth. You have put your glory upon the heavens.

O Jeova, Señotmame, jafa muna mauleg y naanmo gui todo y tano: ni y unpolo y minalagmo gui jilo y langet.

2 From the lips of children and infants you have established praise, because of your adversaries, that you might silence the enemy and the avenger.

Guinin pachot y mandiquique yan y mañususo nae unpolo y minetgot? Pot y enimigumo sija: sa para unnasuja y enimigo yan y umeemog.

3 When I consider your heavens, the work of your fingers, the moon and the stars which you have set in place;

Anae julie y langetmo, ni y checho y calolotmo, y pilan yan y pution, ni jago pumolo;

4 what is man, that you think of him, and the son of man that you care for him?

Jaye y taotao, para uguaja guiya güiya (jinaso) yan lajin taotao para ubinesita güe.

5 For you have made him a little lower than the angels. You have crowned him with glory and honor,

Sa unfatinas didide diquiqueña qui y angjeles, ya uncorona güe ni y minalag yan inenra.

6 and you made him ruler over the works of your hands. You have put all things under his feet:

Unnafanmagas todo ni checho y canaemo: todo unpolo gui papa y adengña.

7 all sheep and cattle, and also the wild animals,

Y quinilo yan y nobiyo todo ayo: taegüenaoja y gâgâ ni gaegue gui fangualuan.

8 the birds of the sky, and the fish of the sea, whatever passes through the paths of the seas.

Y pajaro gui langet, yan y güijan gui tase: ya jafaja ni manmalolofan gui chalan y tase.

9 LORD, our Lord, how majestic is your name in all the earth.
