< Psalms 78 >
1 [A contemplation by Asaph.] Hear my teaching, my people. Turn your ears to the words of my mouth.
O kamite ho, kathuhil hi ngaiyun. Kathusei a hin nakol'u hinsungun,
2 I will open my mouth in a parable. I will utter dark sayings since the beginning of the world,
ajeh chu keiman thulem a nahenga thu kaseiding ahi, keiman achesa thilsoh ho-a kon a kahin hilding nahi,
3 which we have heard and known, and our fathers have told us.
eihon thusim ijahsa houleh ihetsahou, thusim ipu ipateuva kon a hung kiseilhapeh ho ahi.
4 We will not hide them from their descendants, telling to the generation to come the praises of the LORD, his strength, and his wondrous works that he has done.
Eihon hiche thutah hohi icha inaoteu i-impeh loudiu, Yahweh Pakai natoh loupi tahtah hohi, athaneinale akidanna hohi ikhangthah houhi iseipehdiu ahi.
5 For he established a testimony in Jacob, and appointed a teaching in Israel, which he commanded our fathers, that they should make them known to their children;
Ajeh chu Aman Jocob kom a Dan anapeh-a, Israel kom a thuhil ho anapeh ahi. Aman ipu ipateu atu achateu ahil diuva thupeh anapeh ahin,
6 that the generation to come might know it, the children yet unborn, and arise and tell their children,

7 that they might set their hope in God, and not forget the works of God, but keep his commandments,
