< Psalms 74 >

1 [A contemplation by Asaph.] God, why have you rejected us forever? Why does your anger smolder against the sheep of your pasture?
Asaf ƒe nufiameha. O! Mawu, nu ka ŋuti nègble mí ɖi ɖikaa? Nu ka ta wò dɔmedzoe bi ɖe wò alẽ siwo le wò lãnyiƒe ŋuti?
2 Remember your congregation, which you purchased of old, which you have redeemed to be the tribe of your inheritance; Mount Zion, in which you have lived.
3 Lift up your feet to the perpetual ruins, all the evil that the enemy has done in the sanctuary.
Trɔ ɖe gli siwo gbã ɖikaɖika la ŋu, gbegblẽ siawoe futɔ la he va wò teƒe kɔkɔe lae.
4 Your adversaries have roared in the midst of your assembly. They have set up their standards as signs.
Wò futɔwo le gbe ɖem le afi si nèdo go mí le; wova tsi woƒe aflaga ɖe teƒe la be wòanye dzesi anɔ afi ma.
5 They behaved like men wielding axes, cutting through a thicket of trees.
Wole nu wɔm abe ŋutsu siwo lé fia ɖe asi le ave dodowo me be woalã atiwo ene.
6 Now they break all its carved work down with hatchet and hammers.
Wotsɔ woƒe fiawo kple yiwo dza aɖaŋu siwo wowɔ ɖe gliawo ŋu.
7 They have burned your sanctuary to the ground. They have profaned the dwelling place of your Name.
Wotɔ dzo wò kɔkɔeƒe la wòbi va anyigba, eye wodo gu teƒe si wò Ŋkɔ nɔna.
8 They said in their heart, "We will crush them completely." They have burned up all the places in the land where God was worshiped.
Wogblɔ le woƒe dzi me be, “Míagbã wo gudugudu!”
9 We see no miraculous signs. There is no longer any prophet, neither is there among us anyone who knows how long.
Womegawɔa nukunu aɖeke na mí o; womegblẽ nyagblɔɖila aɖeke ɖi o eye mía dometɔ aɖeke menya ɣeyiɣi si nu sia nu ava yi o.
10 How long, God, shall the enemy mock? Shall the enemy blaspheme your name forever?
O! Mawu, ɣe ka ɣi futɔ la aɖu fewu le ŋuwò ase ɖo? Ɖe ketɔ la ado vlo wò ŋkɔ tegbeea?
11 Why do you draw back your hand, even your right hand? Take it out of your pocket and consume them.
Nu ka ta nèhe wò asi, wò nuɖusi ɖe megbe ɖo? Ɖe wò asi doe le wò awu te, eye nàtsrɔ̃ wo!
12 Yet God is my King from long ago, working salvation in the midst of the earth.
Ke wò la, O Mawu, wòe nye fianye tso blema ke; wòe tsɔ ɖeɖe va anyigba la dzi.
13 You divided the sea by your strength. You broke the heads of the sea monsters in the waters.
Wòe tsɔ wò ŋusẽ ma atsiaƒu, eye nègbã tɔmelã dziŋɔwo ƒe ta le tsiwo me.
14 You broke the heads of Leviathan in pieces. You gave him as food to people and desert creatures.
Wòe gbã Leviatan ƒe ta, eye nètsɔe wɔ nuɖuɖui na gbemelãwo.
15 You opened up spring and stream. You dried up mighty rivers.
16 The day is yours, the night is also yours. You have prepared the light and the sun.
Ŋkeke nye tɔwò, eye zã hã tɔwòe; wòe wɔ ɣe kple ɣleti.
17 You have set all the boundaries of the earth. You have made summer and winter.
Wòe ɖo liƒo na anyigba, eye wòe wɔ vuvɔŋɔli kple dzomeŋɔli.
18 Remember this, that the enemy has mocked you, LORD. Foolish people have blasphemed your name.
O! Yehowa, ɖo ŋku ale si futɔ la do vlo wò kple ale si bometsilawo ɖe alɔme le wò ŋkɔ ŋuti la dzi.
19 Do not deliver the soul of your dove to wild beasts. Do not forget the life of your poor forever.
20 Honor your covenant, for haunts of violence fill the dark places of the earth.
21 Do not let the oppressed return ashamed. Let the poor and needy praise your name.
Mègana ame siwo wote ɖe anyi la nate gbugbɔɖemegbe kple ŋukpe o; ke boŋ ame dahewo kple hiãtɔwo nekafu wò ŋkɔ.
22 Arise, God. Plead your own cause. Remember how the foolish man mocks you all day.
23 Do not forget the voice of your adversaries. The tumult of those who rise up against you ascends continually.
Mègado toku wò futɔwo ƒe ʋunyaʋunyawɔwɔ, kple wò ketɔwo ƒe howɔwɔ si le dzi dem ɖaa la o.
